One last topic to sum everything up.

Click on the following button to open the shop. Interesting deals abound. From a smoke free home. That's totally a lie. That whore chain smokes. Stuff in this list will eventually be listed on eBay at the price listed. Except for the stuff that's free, of course.
Spoiler: click to toggle

Click on the next button to see a list to see what is currently my most prominent eBay auction at the moment. You can follow it to other eBay auctions.

The following is a list of games either directly or indirectly claimed, that have found themselves in limbo. Included is the price I offered, or if there is a claim.

Sadly, this is probably as close to the Tradepost as I'm ever going to get again.

Good news! I'll ship to Europe.

It's not as expensive as I thought.

It's okay Phantasium. One last hurrah is better than nothing. We all have to cut some stuff here and there. Get rid of less than awesome excess. Plus, moneys.

I'm really tempted to buy that svc vs capcom from you even though i could never play it. but your money is already in the mailbox so i will just be happy with what i have.

I'm selling an Xbox too, if you're interested.

Granted, the shipping on that god damned Monolith would be atrocious, but the highest offer in town for it was 5 bucks.

I have the god damn box. Some other place wouldn't take it just because the system had been open. Pardon my brother for not being so god damned stupid so as to be able to repair his own electronics without having to send it in to Microsoft.

Okay, fuck it, Phant, unless you absolutely have to sell the game right now, hold onto svc vs capcom for me until next week. when i re-up with my boy i will get another card in the mail for you. i mean it too, not like with the time i wanted you to hold rez for me.

I have a friend that has an old xbox that he would undoubtedly let me borrow for as long as I want to.

also phant, i'm kind of a pack rat... I have every single copy of PSM from the beginning until the recent change they made. I also have all of the EGM mags starting around the early SNES age. should i just trash these or would some sap buy them? i dont know why i kept them around, i guess because i just had so many accumulating already.

When you talk about change as related to PSM, do you mean when they changed their name, or when they changed their art style? Because not shortly after the art style change, PSM was actually disbanded. The name change was when whatever publishing company who formed OPM took over PSM, and then basically fired the people that worked on both magazines and then created their own sucktastic mess. Sony didn't like an unofficial magazine telling people about unofficial PSP firmware, it seems.

I say keep all the ones that you really want, and then see if somebody wants the rest. If not, trash 'em. Except for a few "landmark" issues (like issue 1, issue 50, issue 100, etc.), a lot of them ARE worthless. But that doesn't stop people from buying them.

My brother has given me various collections of magazines that he's gotten throughout the years, including old Nintendo Powers, PSMs, and even a few strategy guides. About half a year ago I went through all the NPs and looked for the ones I wanted, then threw the rest away. Just wanted more space...>_>

What's cool is that I now have every PSM, too. And one of their early issues has the strategy guide I used for Tales of Destiny back in '98. Of course, I borrowed the magazine from my brother.

Fuckin' loved their early issues. And yeah, I meant the most recent change where it became The Official Playstation Magazine or whatever. I loved the days of the art style you mentioned, and the lid and mem card stickers.

While you're here...I was trying to clean up the basement a bit earlier and I saw a bin with something sexy peeking out at me. It was the Einhander case with booklet and all. I slowly approached it chanting the No Whammies mantra, and opened it to find a fucking final fantasy viii demo in its case.

Then that may mean you have Brave Fencer Musashi somewhere.

Keep looking!

*although if you don't find Einhander I totally want the instructions*

Since I have the case and booklet I believe it's reasonable to think that I still have the disc somewhere. I also found a handful of booklets; Rhapsody (relf u sold it), tactics ogre, star ocean 2 and the star ocean 2 case so my copy is now complete.

But I plan on going back down there later today or tomorrow. If I cannot find the disc I will send you the booklet and back insert so you can pretend like you're playing it.

Thousand Arms and Granstream Saga were two other booklets i found.

And a super mario rpg strategy guide, along with an awesome WD made Alundra strategy guide. It reminds me of the Lunar 2 one.

I actually already have Einhander, I'm just missing the instructions...>_>

Tell me if you find the booklet for Alundra, I'm missing that, too...<_<

The only thing I didn't like about the Working Designs strategy guides, was that they were absolute. The one for Vanguard Bandits (a SRPG) told you the exact square to go on for every turn, and how the enemies would react. And they did the same thing every time.

Easiest game, ever.

I had it at one point, never played it though.

I thought you couldn't find a copy of Einhander? Did you wind up buying a disc only from ebay? Since that's the case I'll just send you the booklet.
