I don't believe Atlus has ever had a Greatest Hits release before (or any of the equivalent titles). This deserves a congrats, I suppose... |

Atlus originally published it, dude. NIS' American branch wouldn't even exist without Disgaea's popularity and Atlus' localization of it. And if that wasn't enough to shit on what you said, Atlus announced it themselves in their newsletter. By that token, Rhapsody was also a NIS game published by Atlus. |

I forget what Rhapsody you're talking about. The only "Rhapsody" I remember was a PS1 game with a bad srpg element, but a wonderful music and storyline. (Pancake attack! Flan attack! Trumpet of DOOM!) |

i was under the impression that Atlus never made enough copies of anything to actually qualify for a Greatest Hits release. |

I think after a certain point, sales no longer matters for candidates for GH re-release as much as sheer popularity. I remember SotN and Final Fantasy Tactics both had Greatest Hits versions despite never selling enough copies for the title. |

That's the game. I stop caring about some games if they're so mechanically weak. I mean, that game was so piss easy that every battle could be won with the press of a single button. The auto-battle. For an RPG... for a SRPG, that's simply not acceptable. That's just poor design. The story was the most generic and gayest shit ever, too, for that matter. Uniqueness of attacks means nothing if you never have need to use ANY of them. |

it would be funny if they got around to a SMT:N Greatest Hits Release, but it would never happen. the revival of that board would be hilarious, i miss the "OMG, The <insert Fiend> (Matador, anyone?) just handed me my ass" topics. i still think Atlus has yet to top Nocturnes. DDS was meh, Souless Army had its moments, and P3/P3 FES comes close, but still lacks something that Nocturnes had that i can't quite put my finger on. |
