I have up to the 6/6 to get acquainted with more songs from Megadeth... Recommend me some... I currently listen to Hangar 18, Almost Honest and a few others but I need some more if I even plan on going to the concert... >_>

- The entire Rust in Peace album (So seriously every single song)
- Trust
- Symphony of Destruction
- Peace Sells
- Sweating Bullets
- Architecture of Aggression
- Skin 'O My Teeth
- FFF
- Kick the Chair
- Sleepwalker
- Never Walk Alone... A Call to Arms
- United Abomination
- A Tout Le Mond (the "Set me free" version, not the vastly inferior Youthanasia edition)
- Burnt Ice
- Addicted to Chaos
- Blood of Heroes
- Youthanasis

Those are really just my favorites (although most of them would be on a "most likely to be played in concert" list), and are in no particular order.

Anyone who says EVERY song off of Rust in Peace is good is kidding themselves. I really don't think it's possible to legitimately enjoy Dawn Patrol as a song. Really.

Anywho, listen to:

Holy Wars...The Punishment Due
Tornado of Souls
Set The World Afire
In My Darkest Hour
Peace Sells
Wake Up Dead
Good Mourning/Black Friday (very underrated)
Symphony of Destruction
Skin o' My Teeth

I actually like Dawn Patrol a lot ~>_>~ I think of it and Rust in Peace... Polaris as one song (the former really sets the mood for the latter, as well as creating a great dynamic contrast between DP's slow bass groove and RIP's super-fast drum intro).

I would assume any show you go to would be playing mostly stuff from their new cd (United Abominations).

also A Tout Le Mond (the Youthanasia version, not the vastly inferior "Set Me Free" version)

You don't like Strapping Young Lad and yet you got into Megadeth? What the fuck is this shit? I say that with a smile on my face because I like Megadeth too.

"99 Ways to Die" and "Paranoid" (Sabbath cover) are a couple of other suggestions. But, if it suits you, find everything Pyro and Ecto proposed first as it would probably be more to your liking than anything I could suggest.

Devin Townsend screams too much >_>

Last.fm

Strapping Young Lad was an influential Canadian industrial death/thrash metal band, started by Devin Townsend in 1994, which is currently on hiatus. Strapping Young Lad is the angrier, more aggressive side of Devin Townsend, The Devin Townsend Band is popularly known as the happier side.

TDTB is considered the 'happier' side (lol) from which I only like 2 songs ... >_>

Comparatively, it is a little more upbeat. I mean with some of the SYL albums Devin Townsend stopped taking his meds, so the music and lyrical content were bound to be moodier, much more angry than anything TDTB has done. TDMB sounds lighter to my ears.

"Tiny Tears" is a great song, Pander. You might like it. I'll send you an mp3.
