I am still making some final adjustments, but I have things pretty much set. Expect a write-up for #20 here in a bit. Also, I am not limiting myself to 1990-2000, but I am trying to keep it to music that has come out within my lifetime (1987 and after). Even that rule had to be bent a couple times though. ok, well the more time I waste here the longer it will take, so I'll be back. |

#20 Bloodhound Gang - Hooray For Boobies Say what you will, but the Bloodhound Gang are an entertaining group. Between the lyrics and skits on this album I always end up in a good mood while listening. I love the hidden and double meanings in a lot of their songs, where you will just be listening and all the sudden it dawns on you "ooooooooohhh..." while you hope you aren't the last one to get it My Top 3 Songs: 1. I Hope You Die 2. Three Point One Four 3. The Bad Touch My "Almost made it" award for this round goes to Drist - Orchids and Ammunition. First heard Drist in Guitar Hero and liked what I heard. It is a good album, but it does feel a little repetitive after a while, and while there are no bad tracks none really stand out as singles either. |

You can not imagine how difficult it is to hold a half gallon of moo juice and polish the one-eyed gopher when you're doin' seventy-five in an eighteen-wheeler. I never thought missing children could be so sexy. |

#19![]() Slipknot - Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses This is by far Slipknots best album to date. Their songwriting is greatly improved, the clarity of the lyrics is improved and they even have some songs where they let Corey actually sing. This album also contains the song Before I Forget, winner of my award for "worst Guitar Hero chart designed completely to hurt your hand". I have a lot of respect for Slipknot after reading something (I think it was in one of their album booklets) stating the reason they wear the masks is because they want their music to be about the music, not the artists. They wear the masks to keep from giving people someone to put up on a pedestal. of course now that their identities are known and posted on Wiki for all to see, I don't know if it worked the way they planned >_> My top 3 songs from this album would be: 1. The Blister Exists (Zersch, imagine Rock Band drums at 2:12) 2. Vermilion, Pt. 2 3. Danger - Keep Away The last 2 songs should really be tried by everyone who hasn't heard them. I dont care if you think you hate Slipknot, listen anyways dammit! Now for the "aww, you almost made the list" award. And the lucky loser is... Bang Camero and their self titled album. I first heard them in Guitar Hero, and now they have a couple songs in Rock Band as well. They have an interesting sound to them as it almost sounds like a choir singing most of the songs. sadly this is also their flaw as it gets on my nerves after more than a few songs >_< |

Jordison is a pretty wild drummer, but I'm not going to get around to listening to these tracks until a little later so I will edit in some comments to this post. Just wanted to say hell yeah for a Bang Camero nod. I like the whole feeling of them having 20000000 people singing along for the chorus. Also fuck Before I Forget because I still can't beat it or another song in that tier in GH3. |

#18 ![]() System of a Down - Toxicity Toxicity is pretty much the only SOAD album that I listen to anymore. I have always thought they were a real hit-or-miss band, but this album hits on every song. There is good flow to the album, which they have proven does matter (Steal This Album anyone?). I like Hypnotize/Mezmerize as well, but I really don't like Darans voice 99% of the time, where Serj really delivers. Note to self (and others), check out Serj's solo album. Top 3: 1. ATWA 2. Toxicity 3. Aerials as for my "not quite good enough" album, I give it to Limp Bizkit - Significant Other. One of the many albums I listened to back in the day that doesn't see the light of day anymore. there was a decent variety of songs on it though, generally listened to when pissed the fuck off. |

#17 ![]() Pressure 4-5 - Burning the Process This album marks the begining of 3 lesser known bands I feel deserve some credit. This album is unfortunately the only album Pressure 4-5 put out. I first heard the single "Beat The World" on MTVs Tough Enough soundtrack. Some of you wrestling fans may remember the Tough Enough competition/reality show where the winners got WWE contracts? Anyways I looked into Pressure 4-5 and liked enough of what I heard to buy their album. It was worth every penny. I really can't pick any one song as being the worst on the cd and none of them are bad. The band broke up in 2002, 1 year after this album came out. Wiki says "The band broke up upon many of the band members leaving for alternate lifestyles not relating to music." 70p 7hr33 1. Beat The World 2. Melt Me Down 3. Pieces Honorable mentions go to Powerman 5000 - Destroy What You Enjoy. Powerman 5000 is alright to listen to in small doses and this is my favorite album. Seems like all their new stuff is either political or revolution based and it just gets old after a while. that theme is already taken by Rage Against The Machine anyways >_> |

Unfortunately I had to listen to a lot of the Transform tracks live when I went to see them. It fucking tanked and was laughable compared to their older shit so I figured it would be a one off thing. But if you like this one maybe they did something right with their second go around. |
