Yeah, what the hell are these voucher things?

BTW, I think I am the only person who is being very dissapointed in Metroid Prime 3 so far. At least, I think that after seeing the people orgasm over it on GameFAQs.

I just got the shitty ice missles. Please tell me I get to explore more after that, and the game will stop holding my hand down a linear path. Seriously, I turned off the damn hint system, and yet the game still insists on telling me exactly where to go. Please don't turn into Metroid Fusion...

Or Halo, as the first part of the game would suggest.

It doesn't really show you any more hints than either of the other Prime games have, and you're technically not limited to any one planet any further than you're limited to areas in the others.

In the first Prime game, if I turn off the hints, it shows me NO hints at all. In this one, it is constantly showing me the rooms I have to go to, even with the hints off. I don't want to know where to go. I want to find it myself. Thats why I am playing Metroid.

Well really if it's a problem you can always just close your eyes when it pops to the map and just keep pressing back until it exits again so you never actually see the objective...

Fusion was a great game.

But then again, I'm lazy as hell and want to know how to expand the map after I'm done exploring.

I usually turn on the hints to avoid that direction as long as possible >_<

I got stuck in one room for about 20 minutes and I felt retarded after getting it.

It happens. I got stuck in the room before the grapple beam, because I didn't see the bombable wall. Then again, the hint system wouldn't really help me there.

And BTW ogarm, I think Fusion was the absolute worst game in the series. Which is why I am bothered that MP3 is reminding me of it. The problem with fusion is that they took a series that worked off of no plot and complete open-ended exploration, and, for some odd reason, did the opposite. Instead, you got a less-than-stellar story with a game that will literallty lock off areas you have been because it doesn't want you to explore. You pretty much travel in a straight line the entire game.

Which is why I am concerned that I am three hours or so into MP3 and those same problems are arising. Now, I am told it gets better when I leave Bryys or whatever planet I am on, so we will see. If it is still like this, I can see placing this on the same tier as Fusion in the series.

Ah well tastes differ.

*wants to play Super Metroid again ASAP*

On the emulator I fell down some well and couldn't do the wall jump due to the reaction time of my keyboard. (Honestly, perfect timing was the only way i could get higher, and my timing is crap.)

I can never seem to do the Wall Jump, even with a controller. I just ignore that one place where you are required to do the wall jump.

Also, this review made me sad:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/review/R117251.html

Some people should be banned from playing the Metroid series. Super Metroid would be a better game if it had a story like Metroid Prime 3? WTF?!? The review even admitted to playing only three hours so far...
