MM was a poor follow up to OOT. Then again, I don't think anything could top OOT.

I really didn't like MM. I tried playing it three times, and each time I stopped at the Great Bay. Not because I suck, but because I always seemed to lose interest in the game around then.

That's a shame really....I think that the Stone Temple really makes up for any boring parts in the game (not that there were a lot of boring parts..>_>)

Real gamers finish games to the end no matter how boring some parts are!

Yeah, thats not true.

When I feel that I am forcing myself to beat a game, thats when I need to stop. I play games to enjoy them; when a game stops becoming enjoyable to me, it is time to call it quits and find a new one.

IMO:

Ocarina of Time>Majora's Mask>a Link to the Past>Link's Awakening>Minish Cap>the rest.

Those are also the only ones I've bothered to complete. >_>

Although I am currently playing Twilight Princess. It's good, but it doesn't look like it's be better than Majora's Mask or even A Link To The Past.

It's not about being a gamer to finish a game. It's about how much patience you have. I've tried to finish a few RPG's but for some mystical reason I can't get myself to complete it.
For example: Rogue Galaxy, Star Ocean 3, Dragon Quest VIII, Skies of Arcadia: Legends, Grandia III.
And I tend to have a great amount of patience. >_>

Honestly when I first got MM I never completed it, but a few years later I finished the game and loved it. Storywise, I think it's better than OoT and the last temple is awesome.

As for TP, the fourth and last dungeons are awesome, and there was really only one in it that I didn't like(ice). I think it's actually better than OoT, but it suffers since it's not exactly original.

I agree with your story comment. Definitely a lot darker than OoT...and holy crap at the Stone Tower Temple. O_O Awesome.

I thought the Ice Temple was the best one of TP...

Beat the first temple. Not a bad start, but I feel it's on the same level as Wind Waker than Ocarina of Time.

My problem with TP was that the game started out with a good story and enviroment, and all that was dropped about halfway through the game, as you just started to mindlessly go to dungeons. Its like they stopped trying.

I take it you're a fan of OoT, Seto? Do you prefer it over TP?

Actually, my favorate Zelda is Alttp. I think I have spent more hours on that than any other Zeldas. Not to say I don't like OoT, as it is a 3-D alttp in almost every sense of the word.

IMO, I would put it:

Alttp > OoT > Zelda 1 > LA > TP > MC > Oracle games > MM > AoL

Even though I own WW, I haven't started it yet, but it is high on my list of games to play; probably once I finish Metroid Prime 3. It looks good though.

And TP is tentiative on that list, as it is new, and I only played it once. It was good, but you could tell they tried to make it like OoT. It even pulls an Advent CHildren, bringing someone back just to have fanboys orgasm at seeing him. You will know exactly who I am talking about when you see him.

Yeah, aLttP was a great game. Even though OoT is my favorite, I have to admit it wasn't the most original in the series...>_>

I also don't think I can judge TP yet, even if I were to beat it today. It's too new of a game for all of it to sink in.
