And despite the lackluster reviews for Red Steel, it was pretty fun.

When you've got four people who are equally inexperienced at using the Wii's controllers, it makes for an interesting game. I learned pretty quickly that subtle movements are key to success.

I didn't get a chance to play Wii Sports, but I'll have to another day. I was pretty impressed from what I played today.

I played Red Steele for a bit. What it actually did very well was the controls. which was the hard part. What it did poorly was the FPS part (linear, enemies spawning only when entering a room, horrible AI). I only played single player though.

I did the first 1.4 chapters or so (up to the second swordfight) taking turns with friends. The game seems to work well enough, but I overreact with the controls. Takes me a ton of bullets to hit someone. Everyone else was better with it. :/

I can't say I've played the single player, but human opponents were pretty damn fun to play against. Especially when they're swearing and yelling at the game, getting right into it.

"WHAT THE FUCK, did he just stab/shoot me in the throat/face/balls?" was heard quite a bit.
