This one time, PO asked me for directions to ebay. I told him the site. He started on his venture, but then turned back to me, and, with a small smile, said "Kid, you're alright." Then he rode off into the sunset on a unicycle, never once losing his balance. It was the best day of my life. |

It might be applied Mathematics. I have so many required math courses that, if I take one more applied mathematics course, I will have the minor. But I really don't care that much about math (don't hate it, just feel indifferent), so I am not sure yet. But that minor will look great with my degree, which is a plus. I never took Calc I at college, but started with Calc II. I am curious if I can just take Calc I and count that as my last class. |

That would be cool if you can take Calc I. I don't see why you won't be able to. |

Did they give you credit for Calc I through AP or summat? If so, taking the class would void the credit, so that wouldn't work. The specific Math program I'm double-majoring with is "Applied Discrete Mathematics". Sounds like a blast. I'm taking Differential Equations and Modern Algebra next semester. I think the CS program here gets you a Math minor with 1 extra class or something, too. |

I didn't get credit for AP Calc, because I took the AB test, and UVA only accepts credit for the BC test. Instead, I has the option of taking Calc I or Calc II; Calc I is not required for any major, but if you never have taken Calc, you need to take it to understand Calc II. So, in short, no, I do not have credit for Calc I. The only class I have credit for that I haven't taken is BIO 203 or something. |
