It is actually a damn good game. I am having a blast playing it. There are some big flaws (like the absurdly slow framerate in co-op mode, less-than-stellar voice acting, absrudly hard missions/challenges). My only problem is that any multiplayer option looks shitty compared to full screen, and the framerate and pixalization suffer from it. Hopefully, if they ever port it to the DS, that will be fixed. I found it funny that, in a multiplayer match, I didn't die once, and got the "Shortest Life" award. WTF? |

I doubt there will be a port since Rare is owned by M$ now. |

Yeah, but it depends who owns the code, as it is liscened by Nintendo. I don't think anyone owns that game completely. Plus, I read a while back that they got the first level of PD running on the DS. |

Perfect Dark Zero - Xbox360 I'ts a great game. It's Perfect Dark, but without the flaws of the N64 release. It's pretty much everything you loved about perfect dark, updated without flaw. It's pretty much the second best FPS of all time. Halo being the first. Hahaha. Half-Life 2? Please. Halo requires skill. The AI is easily better. HL2, I was pretty much fighting stupid zombies, and unintelligent combine. Halo, I was pretty much fighting on my toes, as the AI actually worked with eachother to flank/distract you. Don't believe me? Then you haven't really played Halo. You see my friends, Halo has become SO popular, that people ACTUALLY try to DEFY it's GREATNESS. Yet, there is no logic backing their Halo dissing opinions. The closest FPS that has ever come close to Halo's greatness is Half-Life 2. Half-Life. Did Half-Life span into 4 novels? no. Did Half-Life's story involve very intricate plotting? No. In HL1, it was a time travel expirment gone wrong, which opened a rift to the otherworld Xen. And? Last tme I checked, the "It's just about fighting aliens" thing didn't work. Yes, you fight aliens. But did you miss such crucial plot points spanning two games so far as to WHY you're fighting? Halo contains an intergalactic parasite considered highly dangerous. The forerunners created Halo to contain them. There are 7 Halo's alltogether. They are housing unites for The Flood parasite. They also act as weaons to destroy all of the Flood's food, which they need to survive, within many lightyears of diameter. The Covenant see Halo as a religious entity. They want to defend Halo, but in doing so, they released the Flood. Only the humans know the real danger of the Flood, and only a SPARTAN class soldier can save the human race. Half Life: Uh-oh i'm Gorden Freeman, a PUNY scientist. Oh here, let me push a shopping cart into this time rift. BOOOM. Uh-oh I opened a portal to another world called Xen and aliens are infiltrating my lab. WTF, now soldiers are too? Guess I have to defeat the alien controlling it all, kinda like STARSHIP TROOPERS. Also, with Halo, the series improves with each installment. Halo 1 was great, Halo 2 was better, and Halo 3 will excel even fruther. Half-Life 2? Hey, let's just keep the same gameplay, same weapons, and come out with EPISODES!! The only difference is, we'll make exactly ONE NEW ENEMY! Multiplayer? Halo 2 has more players, Halo 3 will have even more. Halo 2's online userbase was at the top. Half-Life 2? Haha. Source doesn't count as an HL2 multiplayer, neither does Team Fortress. HL2Deathmatch? Give me a break. When was that ever number 1? Also, i've heard the use of the word "fag" way more in HL2 Deathmatch than in Halo2 online multiplayer. I've played both extensively. Let's face it. It's popular to bash Halo. Why? Because it's the BEST FPS out there on a MICROSOFT console. In reality though, sales figures and statistics prove the Halo bashers wrong. ============== I'm sorry, i'm kinda drunk and I felt like typing. EDIT: I mean seriously. HL2's plot? Please. The plots between HL and HL2 are totally unknown. Rather than tie it together like Halo, they rely on a completely UNKNOWN character, Gman, to tie the two together. Wait, I was fighting Xen aliens and now i'm 14 years in the future all of a sudden and Xen aliens are our allies? WTF? PLEASE MAKE SENSE KK? Then episode 1 shows the aliens I was fighting thwarting Gman the Unknown? WTF IS GOING ON!? I honestly don't get where they're going. At least Halo tied itself together. I'm sorry, it's just that Halo never gets it's props. |

I have two problems about Halo: 1. The steep learnign curve in multiplayer. Either you suck, and will get two kills, or you will be fantasic and get 50 kills. There is no middle ground. 2. The overshield, and how it regenerated. I can go head to head with someone, and, for me at least, I will lose 80% of the time, 75% of which I depleted their entire shield when we fought. Did it matter? No, because by the time I spawn, get a weapon, and find them, the shield is back up. I could lose 50-10, but the game would be much closer, and I still almost killed them every time. There is a reason why no FPS, either before or after Halo, had the same idea of the regenerating shield. Because it is a crappy idea. Halo would be a really goood FPS if it did not have it. Oh look, I survived a rocket to the face. I will just hide in this corner for 5 second...oh look, I am fully healed. Yeah, thats not fair at all. Apparently injurgies from firefights do not exist in the world of Halo. |

UH OH!!!! And we have a Half Life one too....
Yup, itīs stupid, they should have used the First Aid/Armor idea.
Well, there was Goldeneye for the DS, where you have regenerating health but heck it was a crappy game.
The combine werenīt that stupid, at least they had the idea of grenades. But heck I was in the part when you had to use those sentry guns to protect yourself. I keep dying since the combine keep coming and they knock the sentries down. So I had this idea. I hid in a corner and used the gravity gun to carry the sentry. The idiot combines ignore me and tried to knock down the sentries but couldnīt since the gravity gun was holding it. I passed that part without eating a bullet.
The game was totally first person, you had no idea whatīs going on. You became the G manīs slave and was put to sleep for years. But heck there were flaws, like the characters, I didnīt notice Barney and those scientists in HL1.
HL2:DM didn't come out with HL2 when it was released. People got hooked on Counter-Strike: Source instead. In summary, Halo was good so was HL2. I didn't particularly care which had better story/graphics. I think console FPS's suck since I have problems playing with a controller with the exception of Goldeneye. The DS ones were ok, but I had problems aiming. |

"Best FPS of all time" doesn't say much. Although I do agree that Half-Life was a lot better than Halo. |

An unspecified port? I hope it is Perfect Dark. It is unlikely that it is Goldeneye, but the Bajio Kazooe games were good. As long as it isn't DK64

It was okay, but it kinda got boring since it was repetitive. BK, BT, and even SM64 were better. |
