So, with this first post I'd like to start by saying.. This is all for total fun. I figured this section hadn't been used in ages, and why not havesome laughs while we all have that serious re-boot talk! Hell, maybe it'll help keep everyone's interest! Now, I know what your thinking.. Collective Character Adventure? The fuck? This is something I've wanted to do for a while, and why not try it out?

Basically. It's a forum game I'm starting here where multiple people will control 1 single character. Instead of everyone running a bunch of people, and having to figure out how to make them interact for a fun game... why not just pass the story around between each other in turns? Maybe this can develop into something beautiful! So now that you've read the basic premise... I'll state the only set of rules that will guide this collective character. They're simple, and I think it will help keep things entertaining.

Rule 1
Every post will conclude with 3 varied options, that would take the collective character down three very different paths. These are not pre-determined in anyway, and infact everyone playing this game will have the chance to create their own choices with each post. For Example:
Spoiler: click to toggle
This is only an example though. The choice does not have to be that meaningless, infact it'd get more entertaining if the choices were something that would impact the person further on. A murder? Maybe he chooses to save someone, or maybe it just turns out to be a choice of what town to visit next? It's really up to the poster!

Rule 2
The posts are always centered on the Collective Character, and his adventure. While your free to write in NPC's, and even wild pokemon as one wishes, it must always be in the perspective of this thread's character or the pokémon his profile. I know most people think this goes without saying(which with us I'm sure it does.), but I felt the need to list this one anyway.

Rule 3
Every post must start by following the chosen path from the list of 3 choices in the previous post, BUT that does not determine how it plays out. Although players can not directly affect the choices given in the post previous to their own, they may write out that choice however they wish. For Example:
Spoiler: click to toggle

Rule 4
Have fun, and don't fret! This collective character doesn't have to be a badass. Hell it can be completely for laughs. Just imagine this as a bigger version of three word story!!!

Notable Things
I'll keep a spoiler profile updated of our collective character that will change over time! Think of it kind of like our character profile, with stored Pokémon & the like! Don't worry though, being what this is there really is an unlimited amount of things we can do. We're not bound by Legacy's rules, but our adventure will follow much like any other character might have in the past back when the site was thriving. He'll have to train a starter, and catch his team instead of starting with one.

Another notable thing is we can also do this in chapters, and skip throughout his training career if this game-thing takes off! Following these rules will be the bare-bones beginning of our Collective Character. His name will be, Cole Crane(CC hehe), and he's just a simple teenager with an itch to leave Hillmoss for the first time. It'll contain a brief description of him, but truly other than skin tone, and age... there won't be much to talk about. I want each of us to have a chance to add to his emotional character, as well as the physical appearance. I'll keep the profile updated as much as possible with all the things that come up as time goes on. I will start the game with Cole's adventure in the thread's 2nd Post. Please PM me any questions so that this thread only has the adventure on it. We can have a separate discussion thread about it later if everyone likes.

Chapter #1: The Dawn

In the beginning, everyone is forced with a choice. Who to be, where to go. Should you live in the realm of the comfortable, and familiar... or do you seek a life on the edge? Up until this point in Cole Crane's short life... he'd fought the urge to chase after the latter, but no more. He was nothing except a simple boy, but a burning desire to test his mettle against the great Opadekka shined brightly within. Every passing day he'd watch more trainers leave his hometown of Little Hillmoss with stars in their eyes. It was complete torture swallowing his dreams, and seeing so many others following through with what he wanted most. His family was against sending their only son off on some dangerous journey, and for the most part Cole respected that. No longer though! He was going to be his own person!

Today was the day Cole would take destiny by it's gnarled horns, just like a metaphoric bull, and choose his own fate. There were plenty of Pokémon he could've attained from Professor Willow... but that just wasn't his style. Besides, Cole didn't want his folks to find out, and everyone knew it might as well have been public knowledge if the Professor knew. If he got a monster from somewhere else, the teen could always lie about where he was going. His strict ass parents didn't need to know about a periling Pokémon adventure. There were ways of finding his first partner without the town's Lab though. He could always buy one, adoption centers are another really good option, then... there was always straight up thievery! What kind of person was he? His dark-eyes scanned the small shopping district, and spotted several ways to get ahold of his starter.

Then.....

  • Buy a Magikarp from vendor(500z)
  • Steal a Dunsparce
  • Adopt a Shuckle(250z)

((OOC: Have fun y'all!!! I'll keep our profile from the first post updated! We'll have Money, and even team slots/storage! Let the game begin! Also on a sidenote, don't feel obligated to write a massive amount. Thanks for playing!))

(buying a magikarp from a vendor for 500z)

Cole was a lot of things, one of which was lazy. Well, maybe not really lazy, but he did like to take the easy way out. When his eyes alighted upon a small vendor's stand at the edge of town, his was immediately curious. A little old man sat on the tailgate of his pickup truck. There was a cardboard sign that said 'Live Pokemon - CHEAP!'. It wasn't much of a vendor, but who was Cole to complain? He walked up to the truck, examined the gaping holes in its rust eaten side and then took a good look at the vendor. He was grizzled and gray with skin like leather. A cigarette hung limply from a weathered hand. Bushy eyebrows raised up at the sound of Cole's shoes crunching over the gravel. His eyes were gray, and slightly hazy.

"Hey Mister? You have pokemon for sale?" the teen asked.

The old man grunted and nodded his head. "Got one left. There in that bucket."

Cole approached the old bucket which looked like it used to hold driveway sealer. Something bright red was thrashing around inside. In an instant, it leaped out of the water and back down into its tiny prison again. The resulting splash soaked the front of Cole's hoodie. It was a fish.

"What is it?" He tried wringing out his shirt.

The old man laughed. It was a ragged, whispery sound. "That's a Magikarp, boy. Ain't you ever seen one before?"

"No." Cole frowned. "Is it any good?"

"Tastes pretty good, if you grilled it up right."

"Ugh, I don't mean for eating..."

"Oh! You wanna fight with it? Well, it evolves into a Gyarados. I reckon those are pretty mean. Can capsize a boat easy."

"Well that sounds good!" Cole replied excitedly. "How much you want for it?"

The old man mulled this over for a minute, and then finally said, "How bout 500 zennie?" There was a strange gleam in his eye that Cole was too inexperienced to take head of.

Cole only had 800z so far. The fish would burn through most of that. If it was as powerful as the old man claimed, it would be worth it.

"Ok! You got a deal."

Money exchanged hands and the old man reached down and handed the bucket to the boy by the handle. Cole's eyes grew wide with horror. A five gallon bucket of water was not how he imagined he'd be carrying the fish around.

"Well hey, don't you have a pokeball too? I can't carry this bucket all over the place!"

Now the man grinned. "Sure I got a pokeball, but I wasn't planning on selling it." He pulled a small object from his pocket and held it out for Cole to see. It was close enough that he could snatch it out of the man's hand. "Guess I could sell it to you though. How's 200 zennie sound?"

1. Steal the pokeball and run with the fish bucket.
2. Just lug the bucket around.
3. Pay the man another 200z.

[Cole steals the pokeball and runs with the fish bucket.]

Another 200z? That was all Cole had left! He knew he'd have to have some money to survive his adventure but he also knew there was no way he could sit and lug the bucket around. He was in a hurry after all. The old man continued to sneer down at Cole, knowing exactly what he was doing in trying to weasel all the cash out of the naive boy.

But Cole was rather desperate and desperate people aren't always predictable. Cole didn't have time for this but he needed the pokeball so before he could fully realize what he was doing, he grabbed the ball and made a run for it. Was there really any other option available to him?

The old man's face dropped and then turned into a snarl. He jumped down from the truck bed and began chasing and hollering after Cole.

"Git back here with that pokeball you thieving little swine!"

His shouts caught the attention of several nearby shoppers. Most stood staring at the old man having not noticed which way Cole had run. Among those who heard his shouts were a pair of cops. They too joined in pursuit of Cole who was having a time of it trying to run and lug the heavy fish bucket along behind him. It seemed unlikely Cole would manage to escape...
  • Cole surprisingly manages to elude his pursuers!
  • Cole is caught and has to pay the 200z, plus a fine he has to work off!
  • Cole is aided by a mysterious stranger! *cough*

Cole is aided by a mysterious stranger!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
A small crowd was after poor Cole now, a hefty bucket of water sloshed in both hands as he fought to keep it somewhat balanced. His Magikarp flailed frantically, and glared up at it’s new master with unholy... unblinking eyes that screamed with fear. Both human, and pokemon knew they wouldn’t be escaping.. especially not once those officers gaining on him fast. Then, out of the corner of Cole’s vision... that vendor’s abandoned pickup truck was gaining on the whole lot of them. The running boy turned his head, and locked eyes with... a masked guy who was driving a stolen truck?! For a moment he panic’d, that damned thing swooped in so fast! Suddenly... it stopped on a dime though blocking Cole’s path.

"Hey kid!!" The mysterious stranger beckoned as he popped the pickup’s door open, ”Hop in, we’ll be outta here before those guys snag you... unless you don’t want my help..”

By now... Cole was breathing so hard from all the running he just didn’t have the capacity to answer. It was in his best interest to just trust this masked man, for now. Once in the truck, they both speeded off safely.. for now. They were in a stolen vehicle now, and those cops back there were certain to see that. Being inside the cab now, Cole was able to get a better look at this stranger. He had a crazy looking black Squirtle mask on his face that appeared to be made out of plastic. His outfit was simple, a smokey gray turtle neck... with matching track pants? God his sense of style was ugly, but.. who’s to judge right? Not like Cole cared much about that, other than trying to figure out what this guy was trying to accomplish exactly.

”Where are we going? I uh.. I can get out anywhere really,” Cole said aloud, and looked at the man for an answer. Magikarp was shifting in his bucket prison nervously, but felt calmer now that it wasn’t losing anymore water.

”I think the question is...” The stranger said, ”Where do we ditch this stolen car? I can bring you pretty close to a town nearby... for a price.”

”What? Why would you even do that for me? Who are you? What is the price?” Cole had so many damned questions to ask at once! ”Karrrrrrrrrp,” and Magikarp was right there with him.

”Don’t fret, just a future favor.. of an unknown nature. Make your decision kid, or I’ll make it for you” The masked man hissed mysteriously, and waited for an answer.

Then....

(heading to Radloff)

A future favor. Cole didn't like the sound of that, but hell, what choice did he have? "Fine-fine, whatever. Let's head for Radloff. We can abandon this thing just about anywhere down there and it'll blend right in with the rest of the rusting farm junk."

The man in the Squirtle mask chuckled. "I like the way you think, kid." He swerved at the next turn and kicked up a cloud of dust as he hit a dirt road heading South towards the Land Bridge. "You know, you might want to do something with the pokeball. That fish won't keep in a bucket for very long."

Cole remembered the ball in his hand, the cause of this strange trip. The adrenaline was still running. He had never stolen anything in his life. Now look, he was on the run, a wanted man! How was he to know the cops didn't give two shits about him. They'd already given up the chase, gotten the story from the old man, and then tossed the report in the trash - not worth their time. But to Cole, he was getting what he thought was a taste of life as a criminal and this strange high - he kind of liked it!

Quickly he bopped the angry fish on the head with the ball. The cab of the truck lit up bright red and then dimmed again. The fish was no longer in the bucket but he could feel something inside of the ball fighting and lashing about. Then the object went still, and emitted a soft beep. It was over. He had his first pokemon. His eyes glittered with fanciful thoughts of power and glory -

"Why'd you want a magikarp anyway? Worst pokemon ever. Not worth the time it takes to raise it." Squirtle man sneered.

"Worthless? But that man said it evolved into. gyarados, that it could capsize boats...," Cole stammered.

"Yeah. Maybe in twenty years. They only know how to splash around when they're that small. If you're lucky it might tackle something later on. Not a lot you can battle knowing one attack like that."

"Aw man! That guy totally ripped me off." So much for taking the easy way out.

The mysterious man had nothing to offer to this and silence reigned until the truck arrived at the bridge. It was a narrow slab of rock just wide enough for the truck to pass over, but it was already occupied. A boy was sitting on the edge, dangling his bare feet while he fished with a simple pole and string. By his side was an orange reptile. The lizard paced back and forth on its hind legs and watched the water eagerly.

1. Ask the boy to move and keep driving.
2. Stop and steal the boys charmander.
3. Stop and see if anything interesting happens.

"Oi, kid. Let's chill for a bit and watch. I used to be quite the angler when I was young, so there's a soft spot in my heart for kids who fish. Would hate to disturb his fishing."

The sun wasn't too low in the sky, though soon enough dusk would fall. The water underneath the bridge hummed with activity, but nary a shape was distinguishable, blinded by the dancing of the light. The stone bridge, narrow as it was, looked as if it would continue to survive the ravages of time and the elements, and while Cole could tell that the statues on the bridge were once pokemon struck in dynamic, soaring poses, what pokemon they once were was a question better left to scholars. Still, a passerby could not deny that that bridge had an aura about it, an atmosphere that hummed with the spark of life. The kid on the bridge was much younger, clad in boyish clothes and a simple cap, but something was off. His eyes bore not the charm of youthful innocence, but something else entirely, something that was completely out of sorts with the rest of his appearance. When Cole glanced at his eyes, it was as if he looked into the sea and saw nothing but blue extending as far as he could see.

Squirtleman was off taking a smoke somewhere in the woods, leaving Cole with some time to spare. Placed in that situation, Cole pondered his options and found there were three best courses of action. Part of him wondered if he should introduce himself to the kid and see if perhaps he could have a go at that rod. Another part of him wondered if he should swipe the truck, since Squirtleman conveniently left his keys in the ignition. Yet another part wondered if he should go for a swim in the river, since it was a hot day and he needed to freshen up a little. "What to do," Cole muttered to himself...

(Have Cole introduce himself, and try to take a turn on that fishing rod)

Cole couldn't help wondering what might be on the end of that kid's fishing rod. Sure there was something weird about the strange child's empty eyes.... but screw it right? Curiosity was killing the skitty. "How's the fishing been today? My name's Cole Crane," He told the kid assuredly, and extended a hand out for a formal shake. The boy didn't bother shaking, and instead he just spoke in a soft voice.

"Ohhh.. it's been good so far. Several fair catches. I'm Riley, and that's Clipper there with the fire coming off his tail," The kid spoke aloud in a whisper, and kept both hands firmly planted on his pole, "Big fish in these waters."

The young teen blinked, and looked down at his Magikarp's pokeball! Big Fish, huh? Maybe Squirtleman was full of shit, and his money wasn't wasted! "I've got a fish right here, think we could team up on your next catch?" Cole questioned, and held his starter's ball up in the air proudly. Then, without even waiting for a response, Cole released his majestic Magikarp into the stream down below. All the while, a beaming grin never leaving the budding trainer's mug. The sun was still fighting for it's existence , and the river was reflecting an array of auras from the sight in the skies above. Cole's fish was going wild, and happy to be in it's natural element once more.

While Magikarp was going tiny laps, Riley got a good glimpse of Cole's 'Prized Possession'. "That? Your going to help me with that?" Frankly, the tiny fisherman was dumbfounded, "You know what sure... I'll even use one of my own Pokeballs. If by some miracle we land a catch with THAT helping us... You can just have it. It'd be an impressive enough sight. Does that Magikarp even have a name?"

"No," Squirtleman said in a criticizing tone as he snuck up on the pair of youngsters... still in mask.

"Shuddup you! He's totally already got a name.. and he responds to it too," Cole lied, not even thinking about something like that up until now, "His name is...."

  • Name Magikarp.... Skarface. Then encounter a rabid Water type on Riley's fishing rod.
  • Name Magikarp.... Free Willy. Then encounter a drowning Rock type clinging to Riley's fishing rod.
  • Name Magikarp.... Bulbasaur. Then encounter a pissed off Flying type who interrupts the fishing all together.

[Name Magikarp.... Free Willy. Then encounter a drowning Rock type clinging to Riley's fishing rod.]

"His name is..." Cole glanced around him frantically then stared out at the open water and flashed back to a random video he'd seen at some point in his childhood. "Free Willy!"

Squirtleman and Riley both stared at Cole who blinked then shook his head. "I-I mean Willy, right, yes exactly." Cole nodded then turned to wave down at his fish who was completely oblivious to his new moniker. "Hey! Hey Willy! Up here! Look up here Willy!"

The magikarp now dubbed Willy continued to swim in circles and only after several minutes of Cole's frantic waving did the fish finally notice him. The karp just stared at his supposed trainer, blubbed in a feeble effort to appease the strange boy and promptly went back to his circles.

"See?!" Cole stated proudly daring the other two to question his mad trainer skills. Squirtleman rolled his masked eyes, gave a guaff then leaned against the edge of the bridge to see how this little fishing scene turned out. Riley gave a small smirk and turned his attention back to the waters below.

"Willy, of course. Well-" Riley paused having been interrupted by a sudden tug on the line. The kid's calm and cool demeanor suddenly vanished like an ocean in a storm. His eyes flashed as they darted over the river beneath them. His skilled fingers set to work reeling in the line showing off his obvious fishing experience. Whatever it was was heavy, heavier than most fish he was familiar with in these waters. Inch by inch the line came in and slowly raised from the waters it's catch. However it was not at all what any of the bystanders were expecting to find on the end of a fishing line.

Clinging desperately to the line was a large rock like creature. "What is that?" Cole leaned over the railing and gaped like his magikarp trying to make out what the creature was.
  • The creature is a Geodude... that Cole saves but needs immediate medical attention.
  • The creature is a Rhyhorn... that Cole saves and attempts to battle.
  • The creature is a Roggenrola... that Cole saves and attempts to befriend.

(The creature is a Rhyhorn... that Cole saves and attempts to battle.)

Cole's eyes widened in surprise as Riley tugged up on his rod. Suddenly, a large.. heavy body emerged from the river. As the teen, and boy fisherman leaned over the edge of the Landbridge.. they could finally see the mystery creature's identity. It was a big ass Rhyhorn! "Wow, that's not a fish!" Cole exclaimed with excitement. Frankly, he was a little too pumped to be pulling a drowning Pokémon out of the water. "You did say I could keep this one... right?"

Riley looked dumbfounded, but regrettably nodded his head in agreement, "Aye, I did. Go for it." With that said, the tiny fisherman tossed Cole an empty pokeball. With the device in hand, and a grin plastered on his face the rookie trainer approached the injured Rhyhorn. She was sprawled out, and breathing heavy on the stream's edge.

"Willy! Hey Willy! Time to prove yourself!" Cole called out toward the water, "Let's take this boulder on some more! We gotta weaken him before we try catching it!!!" Clearly... he was still missing the point.. that his Magikarp was woefully useless.

Willy ceased his hypnotic circle swimming, and looked toward his trainer on the shore with curiosity in his unblinking eyes. Yes, Free Willy would give a show of strength for all the world to see. "MAGI-" Willy cried, "KARPPPP!" Then... why then Cole's tiny fish rocketed through the water like a small red missle, with a speed that had been so far unseen. 'By the unwaivered might of my majestically graceful ANCESTORS... feel.. my.... ultimate POWERRRR!!!!! Willy the fish thought as he launched himself from the water.. directly at the wounded Rhyhorn.

That's when it happened, the most epic of all the known splash attacks. It was a joyous day.. for the Rhyhorn, cause absolutely nothing happened. The giant rock-beast rolled over, and let out a long dying groan. Willy was literally just annoying this half-drowned creature.. but Cole didn't see it that way.

Truthfully, the Rhyhorn had already been slipping in, and out of consciousness. Meanwhile, Cole thought his Magikarp was bringing the smackdown! "Awwwww yeah! Would you look at Willy go guys?! He's a beast!" Cole smiled, and expanded the empty pokeball in his hands.

The two people up on the bridge practically had nosebleeds to the amount of stupidity they were bearing witness to. Finally, Squirtleman had to speak up, and try to shatter this illusion in Cole's mind. "...Uh.. You do know.. That Willy did nothing to that thing, righ-" The older one of the bunch was trying to lecture, but it was all for naught.

Cole was already gonna throw the pokeball. Then....

  • Catch the Rhyhorn, and Name her "Rosey"
  • Save the pokeball, and let time finish off the Rhyhorn. Gets Willy some battle experience
  • Miss the pokeball throw at Rhyhorn all together, and instead accidently catch a second Magikarp..

(catch the Ryhorn)

Even stupid people get lucky sometimes. Both Cole's and Willy's delusion was fed when Cole not only managed to throw the ball AT the rhyhorn, but succeeded in capturing her. The beast was swept inside of the ball and the ball dropped to the ground where it rolled back toward the boy with a little help from gravity. The chime of the device was drowned out by Cole's cheering.

"Willy so OWNED you! YEAH!" He did a fist pump and a little dance there on the bridge, much to the horror of his audience. Only Willy seemed to share his enthusiasm - the foolish fish was thoroughly convinced that he'd had actually done something truly awesome. He splashed again, flicked up a gout of water with his tail that hit charmander right in the eye...

"Hey!" shouted Riley, his voice startling and loud after all his whispering. "Watch it!"

Cole stopped dancing and stared blankly at the other boy...

Cole insults Riley and some sort of fight happens.
Cole apologizes and scolds the poor fish.
Cole shrugs and tells Riley to get out of their way so they can drive over it.

Starting...

Chapter 2: Human Cannonball

(Shrug and tell Riley to get out of their way so they can drive.)

Cole's blank stare fell away into a half-hearted shrug, and a laugh. His words for Riley were about as pleasant as Willy's spit moments ago, "Just get out of our way kid, we're driving to Radloff!!" The usually timid teen blurted, and hopped back up onto the bridge. Cole withdrew his victorious Magikarp, and held a pokeball in each hand. He was staring right at Riley when he said, "Thanks kid, but we're both out of here," and then sassily waved his finger until the boy moved off to the side. The pair of Cole, and Squirtleman piled into the pick-up's cab once again.. and were off toward the outskirts of Radloff. It wouldn't take long either.

"Well.. this is where I'm gonna leave you Cole, it's time to ditch the truck," Squirtleman told the teen, "At least your not dragging that shitty Karp around by itself anymore, you should be fine. Maybeeee when I show myself again, you'll actually be in a position to help me with that favor."

"Uh... Thanks Squirtle-guy.... yeah. I'll definitely do my best on that, considering I still don't even know what that's going to be yet," Cole responded, and popped open the passenger door.

"As you shouldn't yet kid, all in it's own due time. Anyways.. your going to be needing these," the mysterious stranger added. It was a small bag with a string tied around it. Inside was five empty pokeballs, and even an unimprinted Pokedex! Then.. before Cole could even thank Squirtleman, both he, and the car were gone with the wind. The rookie trainer watched it leave in the distance with a dusty trail following, and then the boy set his sights on the edge of the cornfields.. Cole had arrived where he'd asked to go, Radloff.

Only a short walk would bring him into the hearth of Radloff's farming community. The town was quiet, but that didn't matter much. It was the first piece of civilization Cole had ever encountered besides Little Hillmoss, but there was one building that stood out. It was a Pokémon Center, and it was something that his home town had never really acquired for themselves... but he knew what it was for. After a quick trip there to heal his team, Cole was ready to hit the town... but the sun had long set. Most people were inside their homes, but not everybody! The lack of flooded streets didn't deter this teen.

There was very little artificial lighting in Radloff besides the Pokémon Center, so the sky above looked absolutely littered with stars. So many Cole hadn't even been able to glimpse at before now, and they were just like this town. Unseen, and unexplored. With his never-ending craving for adventure burning inside... the boy moved his feet beneath him. Cole was searching for something new to see here in town, but what?

  • find Wild Pokémon hiding out in the Radloff's alleyways!
  • find some honest Work somewhere.(adds 1000z)
  • find a back alley Poker game, and take your chances.(costs 100z)

[Find some honest work somewhere. (adds 1000z)]

Well Cole's journey had certainly started off interestingly. He'd met some peculiar people and even made his first capture! And while some of his choices so far were a bit odd, Cole at least had the good sense to do what every trainer did when first entering a new town, and that was to head for a familiar red roofed building.

Cole's newest addition to the team, Rosey the Rhyhorn, was in pretty bad shape and would definitely need to get checked out at the Pokemon Center. Even Willy could use a check up after that tough battle. *cough*

The boy soon found himself in the bustling center where trainers from around the world were milling about and chatting with one another. Pokemon of all kinds were there too, some looking a bit rough around the edges and others looking fit and raring to go. Cole made his way through the crowd to the main desk where a everybody's favorite nurse greeted him with a smile.

"Hi! Welome to the Radloff Pokemon Center. I'm Nurse Joy, how can I help you today?"

Cole returned the smile suddenly feeling a bit shy as he pulled out his two occupied pokeballs.

"I, um, just need to get these guys checked out." He stated placing the balls into a six slotted tray the nurse passed him. She nodded enthusiastically and passed the tray on to nearby a Blissey.

"Of course! If you'll just wait a moment we'll have your pokemon back to you in no time!" Nurse Joy informed him with that ever present smile. Cole nodded slowly and turned back to the lobby. On one side was a wall of phones and PCs available to use freely by any trainers. On this wall there was also a bulletin board littered with various papers. Curious Cole made his way over to the board and studied it while he waited for his pokemon.

The boy took notice of three rather interesting adverts. Each provided a work opportunity promising pay of a whopping 1000z. After his recent financial debacle Cole could certainly use the cash. He considered his options carefully unsure which he would be most suited too.
  • Cole chooses the job of finding a lost Skitty.
  • Cole chooses the job of delivering a package to Lorenzo.
  • Cole chooses the job of going after a bounty on a Pokemon thief.
