The chimera lurks in forests old The experiment is very bold He'll throw the dirt and smash the trees He'll bring his foes down to their knees "So... last one, huh?" Two figures stood at the edge of Deepwood, where the forest canopy draped over a piece of the city and the trees trunks were gigantic and ancient. The forest was quiet, as if time had simply eaten the sound of its residents and left the forest in a perpetually ominous silence. Or at least to Eisen it felt a touch ominous. Maybe she was being dramatic. Not that she said anything to the man next to her, but it was definitely on her mind. Eisen looked to her left at Elijah, Coyote perched on her opposite shoulder, quietly looking around. It was the second to the last Holy Mechanism for Eisen, only Climb remained, and she wasn't sure when she would get around to that one. It didn't seem important. The last two HMs she had absorbed hadn't brought any... feeling with them. All the rest had at least had some tingling, some immediate manifestation of her new power... something. Cut and strength, though... not a single thing. Elijah seemed to have enough HM-related feelings for the both of them, though. It seemed of the utmost importance for Elijah to complete his HM set, so Eisen had decided to tag along. It was far more fun to do these things as a team then alone. They just had to... find whatever it was, first. Easier said then done, she imagined. Eisen and Elijah both have teleport/fly. They both go directly to Deepwood and step out into Thick Forest 4. Team: Coyote (104), Vanguard (103), Xerxes (60), Abyss (106), Arkham (70), Demona (64) APL: 84.5 even though it doesn't matter |

3 ![]() For the sake of the universe's balance, yes, this was the final one that Elijah needed to find to complete his set and finally ascend to the truth of his immortal being. For all reality's purpose, however, there was still far more work to do. Canon timing, ahoy. Plot demands this be a thing. And, yes. For the both of them, there was enough to be said. His body was covered in tattoos now, ones that shifted and expanded now that his power was growing. With every Holy Mechanism he unlocked, new powers became apparent for him and now that he had almost finished them, the tattoos were at their peak. They practically covered his body now, giving his skin a crawling life that almost seemed to engulf him. Eisen probably wasn't a fan. He didn't so much mind it, because the pain of getting those tattoos was only temporary. What was more important right now was actually finding this thing, killing the beast, and then finding out what was going to happen to him. Obviously it was going to be something big. Elijah cast a glance at Eisen, then walked on. He didn't know what to say. Was there anything to say about this? His Pokémon were all in their balls with the exception of Rayquaza, who would come when summoned to Elijah's side - of course. No. This was a journey he had to take the proper way. Elijah Morvante would not bow down to this challenge. Into the forest, where the truth of the universe awaited. Team: Azelf, Rayquaza, Terashi, Ra, Gamzee, Auron APL something it really does not matter at this point Edited by Kirin, Sep 18 2014, 09:30 PM.

3 ![]() Truth to be told, Eisen really wasn't a fan of the creeping, shifting tattoos, but there was shit-all she could do about it. Out of all the ones she had gotten so far, only one had manifested as ink on her skin; the crimson red and black wings on her back stretched from shoulder to hip, and a few times she had literally snapped them out of her skin as actual wings. It made for a nice effect, and she forgot about the tattoo most of the time anyway. Elijah had seen it way more then she had. Eisen took a deep breath through her nose when Elijah started forward, the dead leaves and twigs snapping under his feet. She glanced to Coyote, who shrugged and took off after the immortal man, landing on a branch a little further ahead and looking around. There wasn't really a path in this area of the forest, since it wasn't frequented very often. It made Eisen wonder how they were even going to find the thing... what it was. Some kind of chimera... so a mashup of creatures. None of the HM monsters had been like a pokemon, all of them their own special entity. Eisen shook her head and followed after Elijah. "I've never actually been on this end of the forest before... only the north end," she said suddenly, for conversation's sake. It was true, though. She had been intending to travel through the middle part... but a strange mirror had taken her from the north end of the forest and dropped her right in Deepwood. Come to think of it, it was as weirdly quiet down here as it was up here. "What are we even looking for." |

3 ![]() "I've wandered through this place a few times. Nothing special, really," Elijah commented off-hand. This place really wasn't all that exciting. "Pretty sure I came here with my Eevees and we did some stuff a while ago. Or something." Considering he'd been to pretty much the entire region by now - and, on one sneaky occasion, outside of it - this really wasn't much of a problem. Or a thing. If he forgot a little piece of detail here and there, it wasn't going to matter much in the long run. The world was theirs to explore. And to take, if need be. They did have the entire resources of a team at their disposal. As they walked, Elijah kept an eye out - one glance to the skies, one around them, one below, even. There was no telling what they were looking for. "Wish I knew. We'd find it faster." And then beat it to a pulp and claim their final prize, for sure. |

3 ![]() "It kind of... not really gives me the creeps, but it gives me something. Maybe because of how old and quiet this place is," Eisen said back, looking around. Her voice was, for once, respectfully low as she crept along silently behind Elijah, squeezing between two trees behind him. Deepwood had completely disappeared behind them even though they had just left, and the sounds of the creeping wildlife echoed through the trees, not giving them any sort of direction. "Some kind of hybrid monster, if the poem is right. Though, none of the HM monsters have been like pokemon... so whatever it is, it should stick out," she mumbled, looking to the trees as Coyote flitted through them. The black bird was a fluffy mass of black on the dark green background of the forest, and she watched him as he flew. She wondered if it would be a good idea to be up there too, but it wasn't like it would be a good vantage point. No matter where she was, there was still a distressing amount of tree to block the view. Coyote suddenly swooped down, as flying was getting harder, and landed gently on Elijah's shoulder. The bird's talons only squeezed down enough to hold on, and he sat comfortably there. Eisen openly stared. What the fuck? "Comfortable up there, handsome bird?" Eisen said finally, quirking an eyebrow and trying not to sound too hurt. She couldn't remember him ever riding on anyone's shoulder besides hers. Coyote looked back, swaying as he adjusted to a gait he wasn't used to, and shrugged his wings. "Yeah, I guess?" Eisen just frowned a little, the only indication that she was suddenly less then happy. for recording-wise, they're in Thick Forest 4, wandering in the direction of Thick Forest 6 Edited by Steel Cerberus, Sep 19 2014, 08:29 PM.
