Slumber was exactly as cold as Eisen was expecting, which was exactly too damn cold for her tastes. Even with a heavy coat and pants, and Scout curled around her middle under the jacket (which made her look rather fat) she was still too cold. And then Coyote was taking up the front of her coat, so she was sure it looked awkward and stupid. It was warmer then not having them, though. "You're not cold?" she said down to the zangoose at her side, black as the night, with a spade on his chest. Jack Noir shrugged, not saying anything while he continued to walk and leave his tracks in the snow. "Still not talkative, huh?" Coyote poked his head out, shivered, and ducked back down. "Well I think it's cold," Bunker complained, walking on Eisen's other side and glaring at the snow surrounding them. He was not fond of this shit at all. Neither was Rip, which was why he was back in the PC, along with the pair of shiny sea snakes, for now. Knight was there more because he was too big to slither around then because of the cold. "Can we leave yet?" Eisen didn't even have to consider the question more then a second, "Yeah, there's no more reason to stay here. I got more TMs then I care to think about, and..." she trailed off, something catching her eye and drawing her attention elsewhere. What she saw made her come to a complete stop and just stare. That stare turned into a frown, and the two quadrupedal pokemon on either side of her sat up a little to see what was so interesting. "I swear, he's following me or something," she growled, heading over to the bench on the sidewalk and yanking the paper right of the hands of the man who was sitting there, "The fuck are you doing here?" "That's still no way to speak to me, you know," Akuryo drawled, snatching the paper back and flipping back to where he was. For those of us who weren't around for the last installment of Eisen's adventures in 'what the fuck is going on here' land, she discovered in Malral that her father, whom she had never met before, was actually a demon-shapeshifting-shadow dog who could breathe fire and warp reality. She was still rather jarred from the experience, but had taken it rather well. Considering that her life had gotten a little flipped and turned upside down! "Did you seriously just go there?" "What?" "Not you," he looked off to the side, annoyed, then back at Eisen, "What do you think I'm doing here?" "Being a damn stalker, it looks like," she looked at Bunker, who hadn't taken his eyes off of Akuryo even once, but wasn't growling either. Jack regarded the other dark agent with a smidgen of curiosity, but otherwise didn't look like he really cared. "Can you blame me for wanting to make sure you were alright?" "Yes. I'm fine," she insisted, crossing her arms and hugging Coyote in the process, "This stalking thing is pretty creepy, actually. Why are you taking such a sudden Arceus damn interest in me now, huh? Everything was just fine before you showed up, you know," she accused, leaning forward to get in his face. He very slowly tilted his head to the side with a blank expression. "You sound just like her, it's unbelievable," he stood up and folded the paper, "Fine. Whatever. Forgive me for my intrusion, then," he grumbled, and she could swear she saw steam coming out of his ears. That reminded her of something, and she snapped her arm out to grab his coat and keep him from just walking away. "Uh-uh, no way, I'm not through with you yet," Eisen grabbed him by the collar and yanked him down to her level. She found herself oddly satisfied at the startled look on his face, even while she growled inches from it. "You are going to teach me how to breathe fire, right now." She let him go when he blinked with realization and leaned away, reaching up to adjust his coat back into place. He brushed off his shoulder, "Taking a sudden interest in this, aren't you?" "It was Arceus-damn terrifying watching you be a living inferno, so yes. I am," she stared levelly at him, not willing to back down. She wasn't going to let him weasel out of this, or disappear, or whatever stupid thing he wanted to do. Already, she felt comfortable shapeshifting between human and fox, and wanted something new to deal with. Then again, as was Eisen's thing, she had an ulterior motive... "Sure." |
