Go for it, run towards it, dive in head first. Live life with no regrets!
Bunker clawed his way up out of the hole, padding around in the misty light and turning to wait for the others. Coyote darted up next, hovering in the air while he waited for Eisen. The human came next, followed by a slithering sea snake and the dark colored zangoose. And then there was Rip... still giggling and hopping happily in the moist air.

"There has got to be a better way to do this," she said, brushing her shoulders off, "Something that doesn't involve fog hell."

"Shame you can't fly," Coyote laughed, turning and leading them east, towards Misthenge. In theory it wouldn't be too far, but... Still, there was something they had to cover here, and she wasn't looking forward to it.

"You know what I just remembered? I have that flute," Eisen said suddenly, opening her vest and reaching inside to dig around. Lucky stared at her with wide eyes, Oh no, I don't want to stay out if you're pulling that thing out.

She slithered over and tapped her face into her pokeball on Eisen's belt, being withdrawn. Bunker flattened his ears when he saw the black flute come out of Eisen's pocket, "That hurts my ears. So... can I go back in the ball until we get to town?"

"Sure. Anybody else?" Eisen withdrew the jolteon and looked around. Ripper Roo didn't seem like he was even aware of what was going on, she knew Coyote would tolerate it, and Jack was regarding her with a raised eyebrow. Eisen stared right back at him, put the flute to her lips, and blew out a note that even made Jack hiss and raise his paws to cover his ears.

"God damn hell, put me back in the fucking ball too, holy shit," the zangoose walked over and tapped the release on his own pokeball, and got sucked back in. Eisen looked at Coyote, who shrugged, then down at Rip, who was looking around. She blew into the flute again, and Rip didn't even seem to notice. Even Coyote flinched a little bit.

"I wonder about you sometimes, Rip," Eisen chuckled, playing the flute as they moved through the mist towards the nearby town.

Apparently, Eisen wasn't born to be a musician. Or something. If Pokémon hated that sound, with the exception of Ripper who we all know is probably deaf, then chances were they wouldn't be coming near you any time soon. And you would be right in that assumption, because that song sounded ghastly. Like, ears bleeding kind of ghastly, if you came too close.

That said, it was muddy and misty to boot. This place was squelchy, with every single step getting mud into your shoes if you weren't careful about the way you put your foot down. Not to mention the fact that you couldn't see anything ahead of about three feet of you without really having to look. And, with all the mist, your eyes were starting to water a little, too.

However, the flute worked as advertised - the wild creatures were repelled by its horrible sound, and the trip to Misthenge was uneventful other than maybe boggling at why Ripper Roo was totally batshit insane. That counts as an event, for its mystery is as deep as the ocean.
