The OOC Note:
- Spending 1.5 FFExp on Jasmine. Moss Rock = evolution to Leafeon. Using my Swords Dance TM on her, as well. Yes, I imply that it is a Rare Candy to give it some actual explanation. It is :ffexp.
- Doing some roleplaying, blah blah, then going to cue the Escape Rope back to Mayriver. Woo!

After a long journey across the sea, Albion had made it all the way to the Moss Rock at the northern end of the Primeval Forest. It seemed like an eternity of travel... in actuality, it was no more than five or six hours, thanks to the rapidity of travel across the sea afforded by his Gyarados, Aerona. However, Albion held no care for such travelling times now. Finally, he was here. All of that work had finally paid off for him, and Albion was content. This leg of the long and arduous journey was over.

Happily, the squire called out each of his six Pokémon, all of which began to look around at the scenery as they all, one by one, appeared out of thin air. Albion was already atop Winston, which changed immediately; the mount deserved a break for his Herculean effort crossing the ice, for which Albion thanked him with a pat on the muzzle. Then appeared Reynard, Alistair, Lyndon, Aerona and finally Jasmine... who was, as they all knew barring her, the subject of today's little quest. After all, Albion had plans to make sure that his party was a team of well-balanced fighters, her included.

"Take some time to relax, guys," Albion instructed, pulling himself up a patch of grass under which the sunlight trickled through the canopy, next to the Moss Rock. A few moments of sunbathing was always good for the soul. In fact, Albion just... watched, while everyone played around. they were all having fun, to be honest; most of them were playing a little game of hide-and-seek amongst the trees. While they were doing that, Albion chilled out.

How did one evolve something at this rock, anyway? What was... well... how did it work? There'd been no real explanation; just a few rumours. After all, you couldn't quite quantify how a Pokémon evolved. It wasn't the best thing in the world, he'd understood. It was apparently a painful process, but whatever. Albion laid down and thought for a few moments. Then he realised: What about that one candy his sister had given him for Giftmas? Now, it seemed like a bit of a dinky gift, just one candy. But she'd said, very specifically, 'feed it to a Pokémon you care about'. Maybe she'd meant something like this? Just maybe.

Albion looked over to the group. "I hate to interrupt, esteemed ladies and gentlemen," Albion said, putting on a proper twit accent for a bit of fun, "but may I please borrow Lady Jasmine for a few moments?"

While they were trying not to laugh at Albion, Jasmine bobbed her head and trotted over. The little Eevee looked happy to be in her new surroundings with her friends. She had friends, she'd been looked after so well ever since hatching... this was great. Albion smiled and rummaged through his bag for the little candy that his sister had given him in the blue wrapper. Whatever it was, he sure hoped this work.

"Veeeee?" the little one asked politely. Aw, so cute. Albion smiled, unwrapped the little round candy, and held it out for Jasmine to eat. It was, fortunately, soft candy, for her teeth. Her ears perked up happily and she nibbled away at her candy, nomming at it happily while Albion-- and everyone else-- watched on in interest.

Then, the second she finished eating it, her body started to glow. Her fur changed colour, her body sprouted leaves - fortunately it wasn't the size change that most of them went through, and the pain they endured - but on the other side of it, there was a Leafeon standing there. A Leafeon, proud and majestic, suddenly preening in the light. Jasmine was very, very happy with this - and so was Albion. In fact, to celebrate the occasion, he pulled out a Technical Machine from his bag and pressed it to Jasmine's head, and she learned something new... which she promptly demonstrated by dancing her beautiful way across the grass, sharpened leaves cutting even the petals from trees falling through the air.

Mission accomplished. This journey had not been for nothing.

"Okay, everyone - you have one more hour to relax, then we'll head home!" Albion said, smiling. The worst of it was over. When they were done, he could recall them and Escape Rope away. From there... he had a job to do.
