Kaizanu stepped back, flinching from the sudden hiss. Akita quirked her head slightly, eying the threatening serpent. The seviper demanded a toll for passage, but Kaizanu wasn't about to give up five of her precious berries or anything shiny for that matter. It would be quicker, she devised, to drop Vykrytr into the fray to have the seviper disposed of. "Hit'er up and don't let'er attack you!" Kaizanu ordered, tossing out a shiny pokeball the snake's way. Spiraling, the ball cracked open and light shined from its innards, releasing the contents like thrown up bug. Vykrytr clanged his bladed arms together, slowly pulling them to his side, where he eyed his fanged foe. "A toll? Fuck no," he said. He, for a moment, wished he had a hand to flick off the snake with, for surely, he would, if he could. He already knew his orders, so, without flinching, he leaped towards the snake, spiraling in his own right, as he aimed to hit the serpent with his sharp wings. Following up, he landed a bit behind the snake and dug his scythe into the ground to force himself to turn. When facing the snake again, the dragon-faced bug ripped his blade from the ground and pushed off the ground, sending dirt flying opposite of himself as he flew at blinding speeds to tackle the seviper to finish her off; that is, if she wasn't already downed. Kaizanu figured that if she wanted to get a move on, she would have to use her fastest pokemon to end battles without much delay - Vykrytr was certainly her pokemon for the job. Akita sat back, crossing her arms. "Don't you figure that Vykrytr should be on our primary team?" she asked, thinking. She had a say in the matter, after all, since she was the team's virtual captain. Akita would have liked to have Vykrytr on their team for his capabilities in speed, more than anything else, since she, herself, lacked in that department, mostly. "I suppose," Kaizanu replied, observing the battle. She wasn't going to think about solidifying the team for a while. All she knew was that Akita, Shikoku, and an, as of yet, unknown chikorita would be their primary team. The other three were up for serious consideration. After all, Kaizanu was fickle, and, until she got her plans straight, it would be nearly impossible to decide.

[.3 ]The Seviper's eyes grew wide upon seeing that small shiny sphere Kaiz lopped at her. She was overjoyed to have another shiny object to add to her collection, however that was before her object got too shiny for her. The appearance of the Scyther made her quite angry, after all she wasn't asking for much. Only some berries or something shiny. Why is it that trainers don't just comply with the wild Pokemon? Would make thing easier... oh well. The mantis dashed forward, his wings to his side ready to strike the Seviper. With a single hit, the serpent was sent flying back. The snake landed on the ground with a very big bruise where she was hit. Tomorrow that wouldn't look pretty at all, heck it didn't look pretty now. Suffice to say, Seviper was out cold for the rest of the afternoon which meant that nothing would interfere in Kaiz's journey through her territory... at least for now. Oh and Scyther got some exp and EV points. ENJOY!!!

The seviper fell without much of a fight, after a brief second of looking excitedly at the pokeball flying her way. Without a doubt, Vykrytr felled his opponent and returned to his trainer's side, no longer pumped with the excitement for the lust of battle. It had been satisfied, if barely. "Pathetic. Find stronger opponents for us," he said, motioning to Akita. He could tell that the feraligatr was agitated from the lack of action on her own part, but she was far too kind to dictate it to her trainer. "Pokemon in the wild can only grow so strong," Kaizanu said, refusing to apologize for their strengths. Soon, however, they would start the gym challenge and fight powerful gym leaders and hopefully, not get kicked out of any. Again. She hated to think about that time at the electric gym, where she was unceremoniously thrown out by Boe, its leader. "I will find stronger opponents for both of you, in time." It wasn't reassuring, to say the least. Vykrytr nodded after a moment, reluctantly. "Will I become even stronger?" he asked. He searched both Kaizanu and Akita's expressions for his answer, and luckily, both of their expressions held promise. "Good. I want to help you both." However, his purpose was more sinister, despite what he said. He desired to beat down his parents for forgetting him and then destroy his brother for getting what he always wanted. To snip apart his brother's head from his body - that was what he wanted. His trainer withdrew him, after confirming with him the details of their travel. Akita, turning to Kaizanu, addressed the problem at hand. "He's a little... psychotic," she said, as she walked. The white gator had felt the dour aura in the area, radiating from the broken-smiled scyther. It wasn't hard to tell that the scyther was corrupt in the way he acted towards others, but it certainly wouldn't stop them from integrating him into their main crew. "It hasn't stopped us before. Caedmon wouldn't be with us, if we didn't like psychotic folks," Kaizanu added, nodding to herself.

0.3 (Brain... not working. >:)With the withdrawal of the Scyther, Kaiz trekked onward for Moorfeldt City. It wasn't long before Kaiz happened across two pokemon. One whipped by her feet with great speed tackling down another pokemon shortly. The wolf noticed that there were two pokemon in front of her now, one bright blue and one a dark purple. The purple was obviously on top as he had just tackled the blue one down. They hadn't even noticed Kaiz or her... albino Feraligatr until their ears twitched at the sound of breathing. The Nidorino, the purple one, quickly darted off the female and studied Kaiz to see if she was liable to attack the two of them (read him). The female just sighed seeing as it could be a chance for her to get away from the rambunctious male. She likely wasn't in the mood to actually even be close to the male as he was just annoying and didn't know when to quit as exhibited by the fact that he pounced on her again once she tried to scurry off. The Nidorina whined a little, struggling to get away from the Nidorino once again. She was likely unamused by this attempts to court her. Perhaps he just wasn't her type, needless to say that the Nidorina tossed off the Nidorino again and made her way quickly behind Akita. It didn't look like they really wanted to fight, so much as they (read he) wanted to be left alone. Either way, it would be good dexdata if you left them alone or not. Kaiz could always let the Nidorina fend for herself.

Kaizanu paused at the actions unfolding before her very eyes. She had never quite seen something like this before, which was that of a nidorina running away from a nidorino in a serious manner. Never before. Kaizanu had seen mushy nidorans of two different sexes romping in the fields together, but this was definitely a new thought put into her head. So, nidorinas were capable of disliking their male counterparts. "I'll take care of your problem," Kaizanu said, seeing the nidorina flash by, hiding behind Akita's intimidating mass. Although, with a momentary pause, Kaizanu looked towards the nidorina and wondered if this was a part of an elaborate mating ritual? Would she be putting into jeopardy a miracle of life, or was it just a disgruntled female trying to fend off a horny male? Kaizanu could never tell in these situations. Hell, she would be lucky she knew someone was hitting on her. "Is it really fine?" Akita asked, looking down at the nidorina. She read the expression as more or less one of "get away from me" on the part of the nidorina towards the nidorino. Unfortunately, Akita wasn't too keen on making decisions based upon her reading of people's expressions. The final say would come from her trainer and not on her own. Kaizanu stared at the nidorino, who stared back, trying to access the situation with the best clarity he could. "Go forward," Kaizanu said, after a moment. It was clear to her that there was a possible danger that would come from a physical attack, so she added, "Actually, just keep at artillery line." She looked down, towards the nidorina, while Akita kept a solid stance. "How's about you join up with us? We'll never do anything you would dislike of us," Kaizanu said, nonchalantly trying to coax the nidorina into following them. She smiled warmly, before returning her gaze to the match at hand. Akita had barely moved, aside from spreading her legs slightly, to stabilize her tall frame. From her closed jaws, water pressure began to build, gushing out of her lipless jaw, taking on the appearance of long fangs at some points. Akita opened her jaws, and from them, a flood issued forth. The foaming whitewater force targeted the purple male, attempting to take him out at a distance to avoid any unsightly poisonings. When she finished, she turned slightly towards the nidorina and grinned. Then, she gave a thumbs up. What could be more satisfying than seeing a grinning, thumbs-upping feraligatr? "We're not forcing you," Kaizanu said after a moment, before beginning to walk off, regardless of either nidos' conditions. "Think about it." She waved slightly, and Akita began to follow, eying the nidorino, whether or not he was down for the count or snarling with anger.

0.3 ![]() "Nido!" She exclaimed when Kaiz said she would take care of her problem. Thank god, someone that didn't think that all Nidos were lovey-dovey. Nidorina just stayed behind the albino Feraligatr, listening to Kaiz's words a little more. It wasn't really part of a mating ritual, and if it was, well this Nidorina didn't know of it. She just wanted to get rid of this nuisance of horny male was quickly as possibly. She had no inclination of mating with that Nidorino and she made it quite clear (or at least she thought) when she hid behind the scary gator. The Nidorino snarled at the gator, not really noticing that it was extremely powerful. It just charged blindly at Akita as she let out a torrent of water from her big jaw like it a walk in the park. It wasn't that strange to see, but it was not exactly pretty either. The Nidorino was now sprawled on his spiny back as it had hit the ground hard and bounced back up at the burst of water. The Poison pokemon fainted, which was good for the Nidorina. Akita gains 0.6 for taking out the Nidorino. The Nidorina was watching the whole time, peeking out from behind Akita when she let out the burst of water. The Nidorina pranced around happily after that displayed of might by the Feraligatr, she ecstatic to see that the Nidorina was down and that fact that there were thumbs-upping. She could definitely subscribe to that, even though she was an extremely independent female. The Nidorina was more than happy because of the destruction of the horny male/ When she heard Kaiz turn her heels and start to walk away, Nidorina snapped her head up and started after the pair with the plant. She trotted after them.

Kaizanu smiled a little. She liked this nidorina, if not because she was strong, but because she seemed level-headed enough. So, she paused and made true her request, which seemed to be in a positive light with the rhino pokemon. "Glad you want to," Kaizanu said, kneeling beside the poisonous pokemon. Her purple eyes scanned the expression of the nidorina for a moment, before she let herself give the nidorina a wide grin. She pulled her bag open and sifted through the contents, finding the pocket filled to the brim with pokeballs. She pulled one out and it happened to be a premium pokeball. With a gentle whip about, she presented the pokeball to the pokemon, like a meal on a silver platter. "Press the button, and we'll be able to bring you all around the world," she smiled sincerely. And when the business was done with, as Kaizanu hoped that the exchange would go through smoothly, she moved on. They had a tight schedule to keep, and she felt they were falling behind. With that falling behind, Kaizanu would find her mind wandering, and soon, she was sure she would be off track altogether. "If we do anything other than our map, I will slap you," Akita said, seeing the wandering look in Kaizanu's eyes. "We have a goal. We need to accomplish it." With a stern look, Akita fell onto her forearms and walked on all-fours, stably. Stomping along, the feraligatr growled, angrily glaring onwards as she continued walking. Her bad mood was somewhat of a surprise to Kaizanu, but she simply shrugged and followed her disgruntled gator companion.

[.2 ]The little rhino was more than happy to join Kaiz. After jumping around for a few more seconds she touched the button on the capturing device and was sucked into it. A few shakes and a ping later, and Nidorina was caught inside the Premium ball. A quick flash of light later, the ball was safely teleported over to Kaiz's PC for safe keeping. With that done, there was nothing standing in the way of Kaiz continuing on her trek to the western ocean. ![]() 50 150/150[Caught'd!! Sent to the PC!] [+2 ]

Akita tromped through the dry, dry grass, feeling the prickly blades up against her palm. Nothing seemed to be in her field of vision for the meantime, but she swore that up ahead, the grass seemed more flat. "Say, Kaiz, why are we headed to Moorfeldt first anyway?" Akita asked, casting her gaze aside to Kaizanu. It was on their marked map, so it wasn't a problem to the vicious feraligatr, but it was something to mention. "Well. You know. We've never been there," Kaizanu said, after a pause. She smiled at Akita, and in an instance, Akita pushed herself up, walking on her hind legs. She was well balanced, as she moved forward as a less hasty speed. It was true, that they had never gone to Moorfeldt, but they hadn't always lived in such a world, either, so it was only natural. "Does it bother you?" She only ever had Akita's best interests in mind, and luckily, those interests have not led her to nearly parting with her gator friend, yet. "No," Akita replied, turning slightly away from Kaizanu. "Just a passing thought, y'know?" She continued her straight forward path, but she felt some kind of tenseness between herself and Kaizanu. Was it the staleness in their relationship coming to bite them in the rears? Akita had been slightly put off by Kaizanu's transformation into a werewolf and openly voiced her opinion on the matter, but still, her trainer - no, her friend didn't seem to pay any mind. "Will you search for a cure?" Their conversations were often sporadic. "When the time comes," Kaizanu said. "But being cursed... it has its perks. I would never be able to have a simple conversation with you, like this." She looked down. For that, she had never really known her pokemon, until now. Akita was every bit as loving as she assumed her to be, but some pokemon had asked for their names to be changed. Some asked to be called by their given names, and others simply adored or openly hated her. Grave popped up from his place in the pot. "You two make me sick," he said, making a retching noise. The two friends laughed, while he pouted, flaring his nose.

[.3 ]First lets start off with the +1 to Akita for the friendly little banter between her and Akita. Its good some times to just have those kinds of moments with people, and Pokemon for that matter. Anyway the trek through the area remained strangely quiet for some reason. Not much activity in the vicinity I guess. Either way, Kaiz and her party managed to enter the next landmark with little problems.Entered Trampled Grass 3!!! Now while the dry grass was devoid of life, the trampled grass was slightly more lively. If by more lively you mean only finding a lonely Staravia. The medium sized bird wasn't too aware of its surroundings, had it been it would've flown away at the mere sight of Kaiz and her over sized alligator. The fact that the bird was more preoccupied with finding some lunch also proved to be a fact that contributed to this. Staravia was too busy pecking and scratching at the ground trying to find grubs to eat to be aware of her surroundings and any impending dangers in the area. This wasn't all that was in the area. Nearby, just off the corner of her eye, Kaiz could spot a lone Mightyena slowly making his way through the grass with a malicious intent. You could almost feel it coming off its body that it was going to kill and eat the bird. And from the looks of its drooling mouth, Staravia's were probably its favorite thing to munch on. Now Kaiz could ignore this and head onward or try and help the poor bird. Her choice. If it were me, I would just sit down and watch the circle of life unfold before my eyes, but that's just me. ![]() 50 150/150[Just pecking the ground looking for grubs to eat.] ![]() 50 150/150[Is about to pounce on the bird.] |

Akita felt the soil of her plant, and it was dry again. For whatever reason, the plant constantly needed more water than an average tree in the wild, but Akita was fine with it, as she watered the tiny plant with a gentle stream of water. Up ahead, as she finished, she spotted a peaceful staravia pecking for food, but a sudden tenseness about Kaizanu caused Akita to pause. "What's wrong?" she whispered, trying not to startle the raptor bird. Kaizanu's eyes fell into the darker grasses. They hid a gray form, stalking up to the raptor. It was clear to her that he was going to try to eat the bird, but there were two options here. To help the staravia was the most obvious, as the mightyena was initiating the attack; however, she had the option to aide the mightyena by presenting it with food. Two options. "Please tell me we're going to just leave them alone." Akita's eyes were stuck on Kaizanu, but without so much as a twitch, a small smile formed. "We've got four options, actually," Kaizanu said, finally commenting, after formulating. The first two were the obvious ones. Then, Kaizanu realized they could just leave, and let nature have its course. And the final option: destroy both of them. "Let's get stronger," Kaizanu added, smiling up at the gator. A smirk appeared on Akita's jaws, and she nodded. Taking a decided step forward, the feraligatr engaged the two pokemon - of which probably didn't expect to be hit. The staravia, because it was too absorbed, and the mightyena, because it was being the hunter. There was a saying, about being the third dog, and in this case, that was Akita. To elaborate, it was a proverb about how two dogs fight over a bone, and while they fight, a third dog takes the bone, unbeknown to them. "That bone is mine!" Akita roared, unleashing a cold, cold storm from the depths of her body, rivaling only the coldness in Kaizanu's heart. To freeze her enemies... When they recovered, they could resume their hunt, unless another decided to hunt their unconscious bodies. Oh, so was life. Akita would be participating in the survival. She scanned the field. She didn't expect the staravia to survive the first blow, being a flying type, weak to ice-type moves, but mightyena. She trained her eyes on where he was, and made sure to shoot a precise shot to put it down, once and for all.

.3 Speaking of proverbs. "One dog barks at something, the rest bark at him," muttered Aris as he drifted silently overhead, aboard his ship, as he had for the last hour or so. Silently tracking, observing. "Not sure what that means, but let's say in this instance that one dog just distracted all the others." Slaking, Blissey, and Whiscash nodded sagely at his side. Aris looked over his shoulder, met eyes with Medicham, and motioned for her to bring the ship down. They were about fifty yards behind the unknowing trainer, and approaching fast, smoothly gliding through the air as the sails caught a draft. Accounting for the time of day as to not cast a shadow. "Thank you, Floyd." His voice was barely audible to the Pokemon next to him as he removed a tranquilizer gun from his pocket. "Are you ready?" Three nods. Aris rest his arms against the ship's railing as he took aim at the trainer's back, then he squeezed the trigger a few times, then a few more times for good measure. Then a few more, just in case one shot wasn't as effective on people. Overkill, sure, but you could never be too sure. "Now." Both Slaking and Blissey summoned a force within them, and the presumably once-clear skies rapidly darkened. Two bolts from the blue aimed at the fearsome Feraligatr. A Hydro Pump from Whiscash towards the trainer, trying to wash out the potted plant. And meanwhile, the ship dropped steadily, before landing roughly a few feet behind the fallen trainer. Aris tossed a smoke bomb towards where the three Pokemon had been converging, to scare off the wild ones. "Huh. She looks familiar," Aris murmured as he landed in the worn grass. He spared a cursory glance towards the growing smoke, and drew his pistol just to be sure. He also kicked over the pot, uprooted the plants, and made sure the Diglett was done. Just in case, a bullet would solve it. Convinced, he rolled over his victim, noting the multiple darts sticking in her back as he did. Then, his eyes landed on her face. It took a few seconds, but something clicked. "Kaizanu, Lieutenant General of the OME. Wouldn't Floyd like to see this..." This would be quite the conversation starter. Just needed something to expedite the process. After a big of rummaging, he laid his hands on a Pokeball. "Oh, she'll be wanting this." He carried it and a few Max Revives for good measure back onto this ship. Once the smoke cleared, he recalled the Feraligatr, and left. "Come and geeet me..." Stealing Akita and some Max Revives. Came in from behind, shot Kaiz with some tranqs, Lv. 59 and Lv. 55 both used Thunder on the Feraligatr. Lv. 58 Hydro Pumped the Diglett. Shooed away the wild Pokemon with a smoke bomb. Then, left.

Something whizzed by. Kaizanu felt her head turn, did something just hit her? She inspected it for a moment. Darts. She looked up, eyes focused on a large form in the sky; the only flying object she knew of that size belonged to her alien friend, who this was obviously not. "Akita, shift attention!" Kaizanu ordered. The ship. Belonged to Aris, she recalled, seeing it fly towards her. She grabbed another pokeball from her belt and released Vykrytr, his eyes immediately turned up to the sky. "What?" he asked, almost unsure. "Not sure. Hostile," Kaizanu said, trying to run for some form of cover. As far as she could see, there was none. Damned the trampled grasses! She would have to use her speed to dodge. I don't want to do this, but! It was her only defense. Kaizanu drew her gun and forced a shift into her were form. She returned some shots with her semi-automatic handgun. In her wolf form, she ran towards the ship and its pilot. She leaped for the railing and tried to scramble aboard. She let off a few more shots until her cartridge was empty, dropped the gun, and quickly unsheathed her combat knife. She lunged at Aris, snarling in his face, knife against his neck, while claws dug into his neck. "What do you want?" it was hard to listen to, the voice was distorted and strange, but it was also distinctly Kaizanu's. Still on the ground, Akita and Vykrytr had engaged. Akita had since thrown the pot the ground - Kaizanu's safety came first, and she had subsequently forced Grave to rejoin the natural earth. "Fuck was that!?" the small mole screamed, scowling at the feraligatr who had, just until a moment ago, been holding him within the pot. "Just help us, if you want to live!" He growled, but stopped when he saw a torrent of water rushing towards him and attempted to avoid it by tunneling into the earth, popping up just before the whiscash, flying at him with astonishing anger. He attempted to bash through into the hull of the ship, using it as pseudo earth as he unleashed his devastating attack to split the ship. Akita roared and rushed at the pink pokemon. She recognized that face! It was the same pokemon as before, but she was a chansey back then. Stopping just short, she utilized momentum to slam her water-covered tail into the nurse aid. "You bitch! Helping a fucker like him!" Akita was clearly not happy, nor was she about to let the pink puff unleash an electric move against her. When she finished, she turned on the slaking - that tired, sloth-like pokemon. She raised her clawed hand up high and slammed it into the fat belly of the enemy, grabbing with her claws digging deep as she hoisted the massive pokemon above her head and dropping him into the ground. Vykrytr came from behind, cutting into the same pokemon with his sharpened wings. When he accomplished his pass, he paused and sharpened his scythed arms for the next set of attacks. Kaizanu searched Aris's expression for an answer. She was sure there was no good reason, but knowing Aris, he was prone to finding a good explanation. And she wanted that. Her fangs were exposed as she lips were pulled back. Threateningly, her ears were flat against her head - if the wrong words were spoken, Aris's pretty face would be full of bite and claw marks.

I Am The Coolest Person And You Should All Know It
|
[.3 ]This is my first steal Smod so let's take it easy and mod rush things so I don't miss anything. Let's start with the approach. Aris was smart. The airship went in silent mode using only the air currents, wings and rotor to direct itself. The positioning to avoid casting a shadow that would give it away also helped in the approach. Even with Kaiz's enhanced sense of hearing, it meant that he went in undetected almost. Up to this point, it was a near perfect heist. However, as good as the plan was till this point, it wasn't enough to get the jump on Kaiz. Being the half wolf thing she was, she was able to detect Aris as he closed in. There was a reason why hunters stay down wind of animals, its cause the wind can carry their scent to the animal and give them away. Better luck next time Aris. Now begins the battle. Aris shot at Kaiz with tranq darts, which for the most part would work if he wasn't flying and using a hand gun from fifty yards away. Kaiz, in her shifted form, returned fire with her own hand gun while running right at the now descending ship. From this distance a normal hand gun just doesn't cut it in terms of accuracy, and much less when the target is moving and dodging with the speed of a werewolf so most shots go astray. Kaiz does manage to hit the balloon about two times leaving nice holes in it and making it descend faster and impact the ground jarring the crew of the ship momentarily, lucky shots really. This is really all that's needed for Kaiz to close the distance, jump on the ship and choke hold Aris into submission. That's pretty much what happens for our human and wolf trainers, lets go onto the Pokemon. Hydro Pump and Thunder suffered from the same problem, they weren't the most reliable attacks when it came to fighting at a distance while moving. In the time it took Kaiz to call out Scyther and warn Akita, the first attacks where already under way. Hydro Pump missed horribly from tying to target such a tiny target from that distance with such an inaccurate attack. The Thunders came next, and luckily for them Akita was big enough for the distance not to prove too much trouble. Slaking's Thunder was first and managed to miss which was quickly followed by Blissey's Thunder that actually struck home, but did only marginal damage. The counter attack was quick and painful. Akita charged in, quickly followed by Vykrytr. Vykrytr was first to strike at the Slaking with its high speed Wing Attack, which only just did enough damage that the Slaking felt it. Meanwhile, Akita sent poor Blissey flying a few feet through the air with this high powered Aqua Tail that had to had busted a rib or two considering the damage it dealt when the calculator was used. Superpower followed soon after, striking the Slaking and barely managing to knock it out thanks to the previous injuries inflicted by the Scyther. Finally we move on to the part I really enjoyed, Grave Digger's offensive. He didn't enjoy getting tossed to the ground, which netted him some more hatred against Kaiz and made it ignore the idea of joining the battle at first. The Hydro Pump aimed at him, did make him want to fight. Deciding against using an Astonish against the fish thing, he opted for using Fissure on the boat out of anger and actually ended up leaving a huge dent on the boat. Suffice to say, the ship wasn't going to be moving any time soon without a major overhaul, at least on water anyway. This pretty much sums up the steal battle for now. Oh and before I forget, the wild pokemon from earlier flew/ran off from the smoke bomb and the sudden bolts of lightning and jets of water. Carry on.

.3 And, in an instant it all went wrong. Couldn't tell what went down with the other Pokemon, there was a lot of collisions and water and thunderclaps, a few scuffles and a few shouts. Someone called Blissey a bitch. That wasn't nice at all. But, well, more important things at the moment, Kaiz was on top of him and she looked like a wolf with the claws and whatever and quite unnecessarily had a knife and a gun. "Hey hey hey. Be cool, just looking for a chat." He struggled with her weight on top of him, not wanting to make any sudden moves that might put a little more pressure on that blade. "You're not a very good host. And, frankly, as hot as this is, I can't really breathe that well. Could you call of the hounds? And yes, that includes you." Nothin' else to say. |

Kaizanu was confused for a moment. Her snarling face relaxed into a curious one. She whistled, calling Akita over, withdrawing the other two, clipping them onto her belt. She wasn't about to be without protection, especially against Aris, who had, not moments before, shot a couple darts at her. And now, he was asking to call off the retaliation. What was wrong with him? She relented, at the very least, with the combat knife, sheathing the weapon with swiftness as she backed away from the former soldier. Akita approached, giving her the gun she had dropped not moments before. Checking the cartridge, for nothing less than formality, she holstered the weapon and looked up at the man. "I'm sure that normal chats don't start off with darts," Kaizanu said, shifting back into her human form. Briefly, she brushed her hair into place and then looked up at Aris with sharpened eyes. "My crew is away," she looked behind her, "Looks like yours is down." A cursory glance as the ship, she didn't even bother to apologize for it. Kaizanu would not be held responsible. "The Schedule," Akita growled, passing the remark to Kaizanu. She nodded, but wondered silently what the man was doing out here. Kaizanu sighed and rubbed the back of her head. Frankly, she wasn't quite sure what to do in a situation like this. It was a possibility that she was less social than her alien friend, and being face-to-face with another person, and not killing them right off the bat, was less than comfortable to the trainer. "Listen. If it's nothing important, I've got to get going. Good host or not." Although she appeared to be in a hurry, she was wary of turning her back on Aris.

.2 Finally, he could breathe again. She backed away, but kept her eyes on him. He rolled her eyes as she made a show of sheathing her gun, and slowly stood up, brushing himself off. She didn't like the darts. "No, not usually. But, what's a few tranq darts between friends?" he said, dizzily stumbling to the side of the ship. He surveyed the fields, now clear of smoke, and recalled his fallen fighters. He turned back around, and his next words died in his throat as he fully appreciated his assailant's transformation. "That's a neat trick. How'd you learn that?" he continued, before turning his attention to the Feraligatr, who grunted out a reminder. "Headed somewhere? Would you like a ride? Faster than on foot." It was strange. As he leaned against the railing, he felt the adrenaline from moment's before fade. His mind was strangely blank. The wolfman demanded an explanation, and he found he didn't have one at the moment. He was saying things and things were happening and he couldn't see any underlying thoughts or feelings while his blood was pumping. Maybe there'd be time for thinking later. There was, hopefully, adventure to be had. |

"Headed nowhere," Kaizanu said, avoiding the comment on her transformation. "I've got a ride." She pulled a strangely non-pokeball item from her belt and dropped it. There appeared a jeep, and Akita immediately opened a door to set the plant down, patting the plant into place and watering it. She hoped the ordeal wouldn't cause the plant to die. Glaring at Aris, the feraligatr huffed. She certainly didn't like him. Akita ducked into the jeep and settled in the passenger's seat, hunched slightly as she glowered out of the polished window. Kaizanu glanced backwards at the angry gator and smiled a little awkwardly, trying to make things fit. Nothing in this encounter seemed to make sense. "Next time you want to chat, yelling my name will be more effective." She gave him a halfhearted two-finger salute and got into her jeep. Without hesitation, she turned the key, and the engine rumbled to life. A heavy foot fell upon the gas pedal, and for a brief moment, trampled grass flew up, and the jeep left Aris behind. This time, it wasn't Kaizanu's antisocial nature that made her leave so quickly, it was that she was uncomfortable around such an infamous trainer. If she wanted to indulge her sense of justice, she may have cuffed Aris and thrown him in her trunk to hand over to Floyd. Hmm... Maybe she should tell Floyd about the encounter? Kaizanu thought better of it. The scavian was probably busy. "Weird, huh?" She gave a quick glance to Akita. "I don't like him," Akita said, looking out of the window. She seemed a little angrier than usual. "Did a dart hit you?" She was concerned for her trainer more so than the pokemon she had left in the dirt. She noted a negative head shake from Kaizanu, as well as the silence that followed. "I'll become stronger." "I know you will. Just don't do things for the wrong reasons."

.1 Aris watched quietly as she drove away. "Oh well." Wasn't a big deal. There were others he could drop in on. He called Medicham out, and they set to work repairing the warped ship and damaged balloon. About a half-hour later, he followed her into town. |

The day spent at the park left the night free to be traveled; however, it did leave their schedule something to be caught up on. "Ah, this sucks," Kaizanu said, "We'll have to take up the jeep again to gain a little ground." She watched Akita get in with little protest as she checked over the vehicle's wheels. Even if they were just driving through the grasslands, there was no such thing as being too careful. Kicking the front wheel, she found it pressurized and firm, so there was nothing else to really check over, as it was cursory in the first place. Getting in, Kaizanu shut the door with a secure click. The grasses were trampled as she drove out of city. Adding to the hoof and paw marks of the, the tire stripes dug deep into the soft ground, detracting from subtle peace of the Moorfeldt Grasslands. However, they were on their way to the ocean, so the least of their worries was the landscape they would be leaving behind. Akita pulled up the map display, along with the GPS. "Let's head straight south. We'll eventually hit a sandy coast, but it's not quite beach material, so we'll be in the ocean for a while before we get to the white sandy beaches of Baconville!" Akita was certainly happy to finally be getting along. Gunnar lifted his head from the backseat, large paws set firmly against the front seat. "I remember the last time I was in the Aridair Region!" he said. That was, after all, where they had all met. He even remembered the very promise that bound him to Kaizanu after all the months. He was glad to return, if only to see the sandy grasslands he had once frolicked in, and, if Kaizanu wanted, to see the dark alleyways he had once shadowed. "I remember, too. You didn't look so hot," Akita tilted her head a little towards Gunnar, sticking out her tongue to the best of her ability. An added wink was for effect, which elicited a stuck out tongue and wrinkled face from the lion. He was much bigger now, and would probably be a formidable foe in combat, once he reached his peak strength. For now, his power was only a kittens in comparison to both Akita and Vykrytr. "At least you look better, now." She returned her gaze to the front, seeing the passing scenery blur into a greenish hue of barf. Kaizanu chuckled. "Heh. Play nice, you two," she said, looking into the rear-view mirror to see two toothy, fanged grins. And that was what she liked to see. She handled the jeep like a pro, making sure not to drive too fast for the terrain. She was ready on the brake to avoid head-on collisions with pokemon, but for now, she was headed to the ocean, and that was the only thing on her mind.

[.3 ]It's great to have a nice little drive through the Moorfeldt grasslands. The moon was out, clear skies, a cool breeze, and there was no sign of anything for miles. Well, it's not like you could see that much even with a full moon. Yeah it was a perfect night to travel. However, for some reason it felt too perfect. It's usually when things go this right, that something goes horribly wrong. Thankfully, this time it only went wrong. While traveling, there were these random patches of grass that for some reason were actually standing up right, unlike the rest of the grass in the region. Most of the time they were empty, however there was this one patch that wasn't and Kaiz happened to drive right through it. Now, stuck to the grill of the OME Jeep there were two cacoon looking things. They were a Silcoon and Cascoon who apperently had been using the patch of grass to hide themselves from predators. Nice going Kaiz, you have just impacted two bugs in their cacoons trying to evolve into flying bugs. For the moment they were holding on, but that may change soon. If your asking yourself how Kaiz knows that the bugs are there, thats actually rather simple. At the moment, Kaiz was driving without lights since the bugs are blocking them so she'll need to stop before she runs into something else. ![]() 50 150/150[ Stuck on the grill of the Jeep. ] ![]() 50 150/150[ Same as Silcoon. ] |

Darkness consumed the travelers when the headlights went out. For whatever reason. Kaizanu slowed to a stop, since she could see no further than the hood of her jeep and with a quick glance at the dash, confirmed that her headlights weren't the problem - something was covering them. She rolled down the windows and stuck her head out; as her eyes adjusted to the moonlight, she noticed a rounded creature had taken hold on her side of the jeep. Must be something of the same nature on the other side, she thought. "I guess it's some kind of bug," she said, reaching for her pokeball. Tossing it out the window, the whole area lit up for a moment, and she confirmed her thoughts. Her side was being occupied by a silcoon or a cascoon - the color was hard for her to confirm, as the flash flushed most of the color out of the moment. Mugen appeared in place of the light, but was bright under the moon's shine. "Mind scraping the bugs off the headlights?" she asked, leaning out of the window. Mugen quirked an eyebrow, if he had one, and looked over to the jeep. There he saw two cocoons, and he nodded. "With pleasure." His eyes glowed orange, instead of their characteristic red, as a thin aura of the same orange surrounded the outline of his silver body. He reached his heavy arm forward and intended to burn the insect off with as little contact to the jeep as possible, so direct channeling of his powers would be more acceptable. Upon accomplishing the task set before him, he moved onto the next bug. Hopefully, his rather slow movements would serve his primary purpose in the removal of the pests. When finished, Mugen made sure to move the cocoons out of the jeep's path to avoid having to remove the greenish bug blood from the tires at a later date; not to mention in order to avoid the disturbing crunch of the crushing of bugs. Kaizanu may have been mean, but it was wrong to run over unconscious pokemon.

[.3 ]Screeching to a halt, or rather sliding to it, Kaiz released her oddly colored Metagross and let him go to town on the poor cacooned bugs. If the difference in levels wasn't enough, they had to face a type disadvantage attack as well. Suffice to say, the battle didn't last long. Mugen used his hidden flame power on the Silcoon first. A second later, only the sickening thud could be heard as it the ground burnt to a crisp. Now came Cascoon. He wasn't very happy over having his little buddy burnt to a crisp and quickly retaliated with a Bug Bite at the armored fortress. Unluckily, all it managed to do is barely scratch it's surface leaving it intact for the most part. A second Hidden Power and sickening thud later and the battle was over without much fuzz. With the roadkill, now literally roadkill, off the jeep and safely out of the path of the tires, Mugen waved at his trainer to be recalled so they could get moving again.

Kaizanu pat Mugen as he walked over to the jeep's window. He smiled with his bright face. "Thanks. 'Preciate it," she said, withdrawing the metal beast. He had a smile on his metallic face as he disappeared beneath a veil of red light, but he was satisfied, nonetheless. It was unfortunate that Mugen was just too large to ride within the jeep anymore; that was a downside, to say the least, of grasping power. Power seemed to mean attaining a greater size. For sure, Kaizanu could say a totodile of Akita's "level" would not be able to compete with her strength and speed. Instead, power was gained through the evolution of body to adapt to a surrounding obstacle. In Vykrytr's defense, however, Kaizanu knew that the scyther had only pride as a green flying insect; he was fine being a scyther, with speed over power. Kaizanu was fine with that as well. "Ready to get going?" Kaizanu said, turning around to look at both Gunnar and Akita. The two of them nodded, and Kaizanu put her foot to the gas. With a jerk, the jeep moved forward at an increasing speed, and Kaizanu couldn't help but search out a thinner route to avoid any potential obstacles along the way. She didn't want to have to burn more bugs off her headlights, after all. It was a sad existence, to be barreled away. The strong thrives off the weak, and yet, Kaizanu felt bad completing the cycle.

[.3 ]Taking a less obstructed route though the trampled grass was very considerate of Kaiz. The wild live appreciated the consideration and rewarded her by staying the hell out of her way. They weren't crazy enough to get in front of the Jeep anyway. They'd probably get killed if they did. Smart little guys aren't they? Moving on. With no one to get in her way, Kaiz found herself covering what remained of the Moorfeldt Grasslands with little difficulty. Leaving behind the trampled grass, Kaiz soon found herself traveling through the different levels of the Radloffian Farmlands Eastern Crop Ridges. The ridges would surely make it hard to travel by jeep, though she may still choose to use it... if she's as suicidal as her alien friend Floyd. How about we don't mention Floyd's driving shall we? Kaiz has entered the Radloffian Farmlands!!! Congrats!!! |
