OOC Info~ Freeform for a side character and her starter Pokemon and so on. Approval to freeform for psychic abilities given by Fordy. This will hopefully be a lil more interesting and shorter than my first freeform. :S Abilities: Currently Jinx can only telepathically communicate with Pokemon, she can translate their speech via reading what their thoughts portray but if they're not speaking she can't read their thoughts. She can project her thoughts into Pokemon and other people's minds. Can't read human minds at all. She can use telekinesis on various objects but can't lift anything bigger or heavier than a small child. Can't teleport, can't see the future and can't levitate. Before she was able to use all these abilities but after being teleported to Opedekka these powers were suppressed. By what and how is unknown. Goals: - Introduce side character, whee - SC starter, level 5 male Abra (not sure what swarm Pokemon are but Abra wasn't listed under the swarms page on Serebii) - Starter items and stuff - Successfully steal TM Hidden Power from Megamall 'cause Abra only know Teleport >: - Exp and happiness? Maybe I dunno w/e Word Count: 5,790 Ladies and gentlemen! Your attention please! Now introducing the mysterious and beautiful Mew. Light fell on the sanded arena of the circus tent. Slowly it rose to the highwire illuminating the slender, curved figure of a young woman. She was currently clothed in violet, skin tight spandex with a long tail and a pair of Mew like ears. Though she was standing on the platform where the highwire usual was, after careful examination it was apparent that there was no wire strung between the two platforms. The woman bowed graciously to the crowd then seemed to hop off the platform where the wire should be. Yet she did not fall. The crowd gasped when she first stepped out into thin air and watched in amazement as she remained floating walking gingerly in the air as though there was a wire beneath her feet. With cat like grace she continued this act of walking along the invisible highwire. How was she doing it? Many wondered, none would ever know. Much of the crowd thought she was hooked up to a harness but the costume was so tight one could even see that shed conveniently forgotten to wear a bra and it was rather cool out. The Mew girl beamed pleasantly at the crowd then raised her slender hands over her head and did a back handspring in mid air. The crowd gasped as she expected. She turned and bowed. Suddenly she slipped and tumbled backward, falling straight toward the floor. People were standing in their seats horrified watching her plummet head first from over forty feet high. Yet two and a half feet from hitting the floor she froze in mid air. Her body stretched itself one leg extended straight upward the other bent as though hooked over a trapeze. Her arms extended above her head just barely touching the sandy floor. Her brilliant indigo eyes sparkled mischievously at the crowd as she flipped herself and hovered over the ground a moment slowly alighting on the sand. She bowed arms extended gracefully to each side then, in a flash of white smoke, vanished before their eyes. The awed gasps and wild applause greeted her ears as she reappeared at the back of the tent. Jinx chuckled as she pushed back the hood of her costume letting her short lavender hair fall free and brush her shoulders. She extended a hand and a small pile of bills appeared on her palm. Jinx had no qualms about taking what she wanted, and shed discovered that when she teleported from the arena, if she focused hard enough she could actually teleport cash from the pockets of the audience. This she kept for herself, just in case she ever needed a bit extra for a rainy day. That ought to keep them talking for awhile. She murmured, her voice holding a slight purr to it as she closed her hand sending the cash to her trailer. Indeed it should. Ever show of yours does. A masculine voice with a thick Russian accent came from behind her. With a knowing smirk Jinx turned to peer over her shoulder, one brow raised in an inquisitive manner. Oh really? And why is that Viktor? She let the name roll off her tongue slowly whilst giving the male a sly wink. The board shouldered man shed called Viktor strode over and wrapped an arm around her waist his hand resting low on her hips. He gazed down at her eyes full of lust and rested his forehead against hers. Because anyone who could look at you and not talk would have to be insane, he whispered in her ear. The rough bristle on his chin scratched across her cheek causing a shiver to run down her spine. Jinx snickered turning his face to hers. I bet you say that to all the highwire girls. She smirked before he lowered his shaking head and captured hers lips with his own. She allowed herself to get lost in the kiss and draped her arms about his neck. His strong hands wrapped about her body and pulled her closer against his hard frame. A few other performers chuckled as they passed the lip locked pair tossing a few cat calls at them. After a few moments they broke apart breathing labored. Jinx blushed slightly and shooed her co-workers away. Viktors strong arms still rested upon her hips. She knew what he wanted, what was expected of her. While Viktor was a fun distraction she sometimes wondered if it had been a good idea to get so intimate with the Luxray tamer. Still he was cute and strong and Jinx had never been known as a good girl. So she levitated herself a few feet from the floor enough to reach Viktors height and steal another kiss. My trailer or yours? She mentally inquired letting her thoughts mingle with Viktors own rather dirty mind. Even though she spoke to him often in this manner, she could still sense the slight shock almost of fear flicker through his mind. No one was ever quite comfortable with Jinx. After receiving her answer, his place as usual, she nodded and closed her eyes focusing on the location of his trailer before teleporting the both of them inside. Whew! That never gets old baby. Viktor grinned, dark eyes gleaming in anticipation. Jinx merely smirked and took his hand guiding him back to the bedroom. They spent a sleepless night together, some of the time in the bed, some of it in the air. There were some unique benefits to sleeping with a psychic. Morning dawned and Jinx awoke lying alongside the form of Viktor. Dried sweat covered her body and her hair was mussed, sticking up in all directions. She sat up letting the sheet fall from her bare chest and yawned. The sound of vehicles and people caused her to frown. Shit! Todays moving day. Yes the circus had been in this location a week and it was now time to pack up and move on. Jinx bent over to give Viktor a kiss on the cheek then slapped him across the jaw to awaken him. Before he did however she teleported away to her own trailer to bathe and dress. Due to her unique skills they often called upon her to assist with the more difficult parts of packing. Such as taking down the big top and moving the animal cages and other various tasks. Such was the life of Jinx Armstrong. Born twenty-one years ago and abandoned at the circus, this was her home and her family, the only life shed ever known. She was three when she began to display her strange psychic ability. It was a rare gift among humans and there were few who were able to train one who had such power. An old mystic known fondly as Madame Beatrix taught her all she knew though she never had such a gift herself. There were times the mystic could see the future but shed only ever performed two real prophecies in her lifetime. Mostly she was the performer for the circuss fortune teller routine. Still to pull off her act well, Madame Beatrix had studied books about the paranormal and psychic activity. Through her teaching the discovered how vast Jinxs abilities were. She was a telepath, able to read others thoughts and speak with her mind, telekinetic able to levitate and lift objects of any weight and size easily, and could teleport herself to any location shed been to. Also when she focused her power she could send out waves of psychic energy to assault the mind or create a barrier to protect herself. This was what brought many of her circus family to start referring to her as their little Mew. And thus was born her highwire act. The sleeping with the Luxray tamer came later, when she was older. Yet she was beginning to tire of him. She knew his thoughts, how he didnt care for her only wanted her body. It wasnt like she was afraid of him. He was a strong and rather large man but hey that didnt matter to someone like Jinx. Still he was the best looking guy at the circus and was really good in bed. Maybe it was just lifes way of telling her it was time to move on. In fact this whole circus thing was starting to get boring. After twenty-one years of moving around from place to place, putting on the same show over and over, this just didnt feel like what Jinx was meant to do for the rest of her life. Heck someone with her abilities could do anything she wanted, rule the world even. Well her chance to change things was just around the corner. Ok Jinx! That about does her! called a small fat man who was locking up the back of a large trailer. Jinx let out a sigh of relief, as strong as she was it took a lot of effort to psychically pack up half a circus. The noise of animals, engines and workers throbbed against her ears. The mental voices of every circus worker beat against her mental barriers which was weakened do to her exertion. Maybe shed over done it a little this time. Hey sweetie you ok? You look a little pale. The small fat man, a clown by profession, asked in concern peering up at her. Jinx nodded rubbing her temple. Im fine Fatso, lets get going huh? Dont want them to leave without us. Fatso the clown shrugged then nodded hurrying back to his truck. Jinx followed after slowly. Viktor drove the Lurxay trailer and didnt even seem to notice Jinxs fatigue. The young woman focused on the passenger bus that carried all the other performers. As she summoned her remaining energy to teleport onto the bus a sharp pain attacked her mind. Suddenly she blacked out and collapsed but didnt fall onto the ground beneath her. No shed successful initiated the teleport yet something else had determined the destination. What that destination was, she would only know when she awoke. Edited by Jance, Nov 5 2009, 09:11 AM.

It was several hours before the young woman stirred again. The soft sound of voices brushed against her mind. What was that? It didnt feel human. These minds felt more wild and powerful. Jinx lay quite not wanting to startle whatever it was these minds belonged too. She tried to remember what had happened, but could only remember trying to teleport. Unfamiliar speech reached her ears the words not English but the thoughts helped her to understand what was being said. I think its dead. Do you think its dead? Its most definitely dead! Quit your whimpering! Its not dead, look its breathing. Its not an it its a her. Now she seems ok, just passed out. We should leave before she wakes up. Yes! Yes lets get out of here! These humans have been all kinds of nasty lately. Yea they have. Oh crap! She moved! Gingerly Jinx turned her head wincing at the sudden pain that shot through it. The voices ceased and their thoughts were stilled. The sound of rustling alerted her to the fact that whatever had been talking about her had fled. Other sounds grew apparent after the sudden silence of the creatures thoughts. It was a vehicles and people. Well that wasnt unusual as she recalled hearing such sounds before shed awoken. But this was on a much larger scale, in fact when she opened her eyes she could see nothing but sand and a towering city rising out of the waste like a beacon of hope. More sounds reached her ears, the cawing of Wingull and the splash of the ocean. The scents came second, sea air mingled with various foods and ugh, exhaust fumes. Ever so slowly Jinx rose to a sitting position. She massaged her temple and looked down at her fitted shorts and bare legs which were beginning to turn an angry red. Seemed shed been out here for some time, lying under the blazing sun, wonderful. Jinx turned to examine her bare arms and shoulders as she wore only a tight indigo tank top. They too had gotten more sun than she needed. With a pained groan she staggered to her feet. Her head swam from the sudden movement and it took her a moment to gain her senses. And then the voices were back. Shes up, shes up, shes up! We should be running! Why are we still here? Im getting out of here! Jinx turned just in time to see the hind end of a Sandshrew vanish behind a sand hill. So it was Pokemon voices shed been hearing. She had a strange feeling something was wrong. She could understand the Pokemon when the spoke to one another yet when they were silent she could glean nothing from their minds. Were they somehow blocking her? Jinx didnt know but it was a bit irritating not being able to see into these wild creatures minds. There had been three voices, one of which had fled. The other two must still be nearby probably hiding in the cacti that grew a few feet from her position. I know youre there. She stated rather hoarsely. Seemed she was a bit dehydrated from lying in the sun. A sudden rush of wings and a blue and white Wingull darted skyward from the cacti making his way toward the sounds of the sea. Now there was only one left and Jinx figured it too would flee. She closed her eyes focusing on whatever was out there. Dont flee. I wont harm you. I only wish to know where I am. Her thoughts were sent from her toward whatever mind would receive it. For a moment nothing happened, the Pokemon had probably fled by now. Jinx sighed turning to face the city. Yet a rather curious thought made its way into her thoughts. How did you do that? Apparently shed piqued whatever-it -wass interest and it seemed to have the same ability as herself, being able to transmit its thoughts to another. Jinx grinned turning slowly to face the cacti where she assumed the Pokemon was hidden. Im a telepath, I can communicate with my thoughts. What about you? Everything remained still for a moment before a weight suddenly appeared on her shoulder. Jinx was startled and nearly fell over from the unusual weight. An Abra had teleported onto her seeming to have no fear of her. His sleepy gaze studied her curiously. Does this answer your question? He inquired a rather weary grin on his face. Jinx chuckled and nodded. Yes it does. You dont seem too afraid of me like the others were. She raised a brow at the Abra. Why should I be afraid? I could just teleport away before you can even move. And those two are cowards, havent spent hardly any time around you humans. I like to hang in the city and watch you between naps. You humans are rather interesting but youre downright fascinating. Ive never met one who could communicate in such a manner. The Abra almost seemed delighted in meeting her. He was a rather odd little Pokemon. I am, am I? Well thank you but I could really use some help here. Where on earth am I? Jinx craned her neck to try and face him, it was difficult to talk to something sitting on your shoulder. Abra yawned then shrugged. Where else? Aridair Desert just outside of Kevin Baconville, one of Opedekkas metropolises. Opedekka? Jinx blinked at the psychic Pokemon. Where the heck was Opedekka and how on earth had she gotten there? Last she remembered was touring with the circus through Shinoh. Shed never even heard of Opedekka. Jinx sank to the sandy floor and stared over at the large city. What now? She was separated from her home, family and friends, alone with nothing but the clothes on her back. Wait a minute, Jinx reached into the front pocket of her shorts. The cash shed stolen from various audience members was still there. At least she had a little zenni, thank goodness shed thought to carry it on her person today. Hey human, you ok? Jinx sighed and shook her head. Im alone in a strange desert in a strange world, what do you think? She snapped feeling frustrated. Abra huffed and teleported from her shoulder to the sand in front of her. Dont get mad at me I didnt get you into this mess. In fact I ought to just leave you here. You humans can be so rude. Ugh Im sorry, Ive just never been in this sort of situation before ok? Im a little confused and frustrated. What am I supposed to do now? I dont know how to get back home and all I have is a little zenni. Plus Im dying of thirst and Im going to have a nasty sunburn. Jinx felt like crying, instead she glared at a cactus and attempted to rip it from the ground with her mind. Yet it was difficult, harder than she remembered and made her head hurt. Using her hand as a guide she managed to do what she wanted and tear the cactus from the earth. Jinx sent it flying several yards before it fell dropping to the desert floor. She panted staring at the fallen cactus. What was wrong with her? That little twig shouldnt have taken so much energy. Abra just stared at her. He of course hadnt expected she could do that. Maybe he ought to be a little more afraid of her after all. What was all that? You can do other things too? He asked warily a hint of nervousness in his thoughts. Jinx waved a hand tiredly and shrugged. Used to be able to do all kinds of things but that, it drained me more than it shouldve. I think I damaged something up there. When I tried to teleport before, I blacked out and woke up here. Jinx frowned then focused on a patch of ground a few feet from her. She stared hard at the sand for several minutes but nothing happened save for her headache growing worse and her nose beginning to bleed. Whoa now! Youre just going to hurt yourself. Maybe you should rest. You should probably get out of the desert and into the city. He pointed a clawed finger toward Kevin Baconville. Jinx wiped her nose and nodded in agreement. Guess youre right. Suppose youll be teleporting off then huh? She glanced over at Abra eyes a bit blurred from the pain in her head. The psychic type nodded hesitantly staring at her with lidded eyes. I probably should yes. Though leaving the poor girl out here to fend for herself wasnt a very nice thing to do. Still she was a human and Abra had learned a lot about humans from observing them in the city. He doubted she could be trusted. It was nice meeting you Abra. Id ask you to stay, try to bribe you with power but really what do I know about Pokemon and obtaining power? Seems like Ive drained all the power I used to have. Jinx got back to her feet still a little woozy. She raised a hand in farewell to Abra then turned to stumble slowly toward Kevin Baconville. Abra watched her retreating form, trying to fight back a nagging feeling. With a frustrated grunt to himself, he teleported back onto her shoulder, nearly causing her to fall over. Look you might not know anything about Pokemon but I know plenty about you humans. Youll never survive this city in your state. Im sure Ill regret this but Ill come with you for awhile help you get back on your feet ok? Bit of an odd twist a Pokemon coming to the rescue of a human. Abra didnt know why he got himself into these kinds of situations, by nature he wasnt even that nice and leaned more toward the naughty persuasion. Still even a naughty natured Pokemon couldnt just leave a disoriented and hurting girl to fend for herself in a rough town like Kevin Baconville. Jinx smiled at him gratefully reaching up to gently caress his head. Thanks Abra. Youre a lifesaver. Abra shrugged looking a bit smug. Guess I am. Come on I know a place where you can get a free room and food, as long as you have a Pokemon anyway. So Abra teleported them to the Pokemon Center where Jinx could pose as a Pokemon trainer and get some needed rest and food. Edited by Jance, Nov 4 2009, 07:12 AM.

A couple days rest in the Pokemon Center had Jinx back on her feet. While Nurse Joy had been quite pleasant, Jinx was starting to grow annoyed with the place. Everybody was just smiles and sunshine. And while Jinx wasnt able to hear their thoughts she knew how the minds of others worked. Nobody was that nice or friendly, it was all an act. These people, the trainers, nurses, even their Pokemon were pretending to be sweet and innocent. Frankly it made the woman sick. While she used to hate all the voices in her head from random people now it was driving her mad not being able to know exactly who they were on the inside. It was a relief to get out of the center and back on the street where at least the city was real and honest. Here she knew what to expect from people on the street. Abra had remained with her and Jinx had started to grow rather fond of the psychic. Still hed only agreed to help her get back on her feet. Now that she was healthy again, save for an itchy sunburn, she assumed he would be returning to his home, wherever that was. So going to disappear without saying goodbye? Jinx had an easier time now of transmitting her thoughts to the psychic now that she could feel his presence. A mental chuckle reached her thoughts and a familiar weight appeared on her shoulder. Goodbye? What you trying to get rid of me already? Abra inquired yawning widely as he reclined on her shoulder resting his back against her head. Jinx rolled her eyes and poked him. Hey, Im not a bed you know. She sighed turning to continue walking along the sidewalk. She didnt have any destination in mind, but it seemed if one wanted to survive in this world, they should have Pokemon and Pokemon equipment. The megamall ought to have what she needed. Abra stretched still reclining on her shoulder, tail swinging back and forth as it draped along her back. So what are you going to do now? Im better and youre free to do whatever you want. Jinx asked watching his side with her peripheral vision. Abra seemed lost in thought a clawed hand resting against his mouth. Then again maybe hed just fallen asleep. Havent decided. Its been an interesting experience being around a human for so long. You were thinking earlier that Id return home. Truth be told I dont really have a home. I mostly spend my time wandering about just watching the city. Then I bump into you, miss telepath and find humans can be even more interesting than I thought. Plus you seem like the sort who could prove to be quite, fun, to hang with. If you know what I mean. Abra smirked though Jinx couldnt tell this. Though the mental image she got from him told her plenty. Oh really? Suppose you already know what I have in mind for that mall. Jinx turned her head slightly, trying not to disturb Abras position, to look up at the tower complex. Everything a trainer could ever want was there. Nurse Joy had been generous enough to supply her with a PokeNav, PokeDex and even an EscapeRope thing but PokeBalls, Potions and cold hard zenni was another matter. Abra turned an eye to look at the mall as well. Indeed I do. Make for some very unhappy humans what youre thinking. But what about that zenni you have with you? Couldnt you just pay for the items? He questioned curiously though already knew how shed respond. Jinx laughed. Ha. Why should I? The prices places like that put on things are ridiculous and someone like me shouldnt be restricted to what she can buy. I can have anything I want. She stopped hands in the pockets of her vest. Nurse Joy had also been kind enough to provide her with a change of clothing. Now she wore a tight, low cut lilac tank top, an indigo vest and a pair of black denim capris. On her feet were black low top sneakers. The outfit suited her fine but she planned to try and find a couple more outfits. For now her main priority was some PokeBalls and a bag of some kind. Jinx arrived at the megamall. Abra snoozed comfortably on her shoulder. She was rather amazed at how much the fox like Pokemon slept. From what shed learned about him from that PokeDex thing it was because it took so much energy for him to use his psychic abilities. She also knew he couldnt learn any other attacks through natural growth and would only know teleport until he evolved. She could relate to the sleepiness, as ever since shed arrived here doing even little things felt a bit strained. Jinx didnt understand the loss of her full power but she worked with what she had. What she still had plenty of was brains and her femininity, which was sure to come in handy in future, endeavors. Soon she found herself surrounded by travel gear, Pokemon equipment and other various items. Well shed definitely come to the right place. Jinx took her time, she wasnt in any trouble yet and she wanted to be sure exactly what she was after. Her goal was to make a quick, clean grab and try not to draw too much attention to herself. The bag and PokeBalls was easy enough, they were all laid out nice and neat just waiting to be picked up and purchased. Most of the more expensive and fancier items were with the clerks behind the counter. Jinx selected a large black bag, one that could handle a small sleeping bag and extra clothes as well as whatever she required for her Pokemon. It could be carried by a strap or like a backpack. It would definitely serve her purposes. Then she scooped up six PokeBalls examining the tiny contraptions. They were the size of Ping-Pong balls, Jinx wondered if these didnt get stolen all the time. You could easily just slip them in your pocket and no one would be the wiser. For the moment she couldnt think of anything else until her gaze fell upon the list of various TMs available for purchase. Curious she moved closer then retrieved her PokeDex from the vest pocket. Well now, there were a few of these TMs Abra could learn. She didnt know what Abra would decide but if he did return to his wild ways she didnt want him being left defenseless. Sure he said he could out teleport anything that tried to harm him. Still knowing an offensive ability would probably do him good. Hed been nice enough to help her; she wanted to do something for him. Hello, could I please see one of those Hidden Power TMs? She asked the clerk an innocent smile on her face. He nodded and retrieved the disc from the cabinet then explained what the move did. Jinx held a hand out for it asking how TMs work. The clerk let her hold it while he talked with his hands answering her question. Jinx barely listened to him as she gently poked at Abras mind. Hey wake up. I need you to teleport us out of here, round to the back of the building, ok? Abra blinked an eye listening to the clerk talk. He pictured the layout of the city and showed the image to Jinx to be sure they were both thinking of the same location. Jinx gave him the affirmative and as the clerk was in mid speech asking if that was all she needed they vanished from right in front of him. He gave a startled cry staring wide eyed at the vacant spot on the floor. Jinx closed her eyes for the ride a rather sick feeling in her stomach. Teleporting ones self was more comfortable than being teleported. But they both arrived safe and sound in a back ally of the megamall. Jinx was counting on the clerk being too shocked to get around to calling up security or whatever they had for law enforcement in this town. For now they were safe and sound with the items she desired. Perfect. That went rather smoothly. Good timing on the teleport, shame we cant see the look on that guys face. Jinx snickered. She was getting cocky and Abra grunted disapprovingly. Watch the attitude, if its one thing you humans do is celebrate too early. We should get out of here. I couldve taken us farther away you know, the other side of the city or something. Jinx sighed and shoved her things in the pack before adjusting the strap over her shoulder. Ok whatever you say. But I didnt want you to strain yourself. It cant be easy teleporting the both of us places. I dont want anything happening to you. She admitted as she made her way down the alley heading away from the mall. Abra was silent as she walked. He was right however, with her unusual hair, bright clothing and an Abra on her shoulder shed probably be easy to spot best to lie low for awhile. Edited by Jance, Nov 5 2009, 08:50 AM.

Night fell and Jinx peered down into the city from the roof of the salon. Abra had teleported them up there to wait out and see how things developed. A few cops had come and gone from the megamall but at the moment things were quiet. From what Abra had told her about the city was that crime was rather rampant so something as small as shoplifting wouldnt be a high priority. Jinx pulled a black baseball cap shed borrowed from off the coat rack of the salon over her lavender hair. The woman turned back to Abra who was stretched out on her new bag sound asleep. She couldnt help but smile at the Pokemon. Jinx raised the small disc device looking from it to Abra. The clerk had said you only had to touch it to the Pokemon and it would learn whatever move it was programmed for. She frowned thoughtfully then made her way over to Abra. Jinx knelt down and nudged him gently. Hey sorry to bother you but check this out. Abra stretched and turned his sleepy eyes to her curiously. Jinx motioned to the disc. Abra frowned confused. What you want to play a song? Jinx made a face at him not amused. No this things a TM, Technical Machine. It teaches different moves to Pokemon. This one has something known as Hidden Power in it. You could learn that if you wanted. She offered it to Abra who eyed it warily. I thought only tame Pokemon could have those used on them. Jinx bit her lip. Clerk didnt say anything about that. But why would it? I was thinking, you only know teleport yea? Well when you go back to the wild you ought to have some way of fighting back. She gestured with the disc. Since you helped me out I wanted to get you something that could help you. Abra stroked his chin with a paw staring at the disc. Then he turned to Jinx a small smile on his fox-like features. Well whenever I do return to the wild it probably will. Though itll probably help us if were in a bind I cant teleport us out of. Jinx raised a brow as Abra took hold of the disc his touch activating the device. It glowed in his hands and caused his eyes to glow as well. Then it shattered and turned to dust. Abra shook his head and blinked. Whoa what a rush. Now let me see. Abra reached into the side pocket of the bag where Jinx had stored the PokeBalls. Hey what are you after? Jinx frown raising a ball from the pack using her finger as a guide. Abra gave her a sly grin then poked the white button twice before he vanished in a flash of light and was absorbed by the ball. Jinxs eyes widened the ball still hovering in the air. It shook a few times but the white button stopped glowing red indicating a successful capture. Abra She chuckled softly and motioned for the ball to come to her. She let it drop into her hand then cleared her throat. I choose you Abra! That sounds horrible. Jinx made a face agreeing with the now materialized Abra. Yea who says that honestly? It sounds so corny. Abra shrugged and shook his head running his fingers over his ears. Jinx smirked and rested her head in her hand studying the psychic type. You know, Abras kind of a corny name too. The psychic type made a face at her and grumbled. Sure like Jinx is that much better. Hey! I like my name thank you. I was just thinking you could go by something else if you wanted. Theres gotta be a few thousand Abra out there. Abra nodded looking thoughtful. True, but Ive never gone by any other name. What possible name would you call me? Jinx stared at him awhile then grinned. How about Houdini? Abra turned to meet her gaze a brow raised. Houdini? Hmm I like it. Jinx winked pleased. She extended a hand to shake Houdinis. Pleasure to meet you Houdini. Now what say we get off this roof and into some place with beds? Houdini grinned and took her hand teleporting them to the closest motel. Staying at the Pokemon Center wasnt an option, at least for now. Tomorrow Jinx intended to set out and learn more about this world and its Pokemon. Without her full power shed need a strong team to back her up. Plus it was high time she made something of herself. She was no longer held back by the circus, now she was free to do whatever she wanted. All done~ |

"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"
|
I hate criticizing when I dont consider myself a writer with an opinion worth a hill of beans but here goes. It was an interesting piece that started out extremely well. The intro gave me excellent incite into your characters demeanor and history. I was not particularly charmed with how she suddenly wound up in Opaddeka though. Not only did you give no explanation but you didnt even hint at it. I find the only suggested possibility of her accidentally teleporting herself after having so much experience and guidance unlikely. Not bad on describing the abras personality but I felt like the story was hurried after you found him. I suppose if I wound up in a strange town I would expect to see a little investigation as to why and whether or not I could or wanted to go back. Your person instead hops straight to stealing and just accepts without question shes in a weird place and abras cant technically use their teleport beyond sight to sight. Outside of the building was beyond sight and only the HM version of it can pull it off. By default you receive the Pokedex, Poketech, 5 pokeballs (make that 4 since you used one on the abra) , and the Escape Rope as well as 3,000 zenni. You get the Abra Level 5 neutral happy (uncommon per our Legacy list in the mod forum) No on the steal and the TM. If you want the telepathy with pokemon perk, I will apply a lein of 5. So all earned will be sucked into the never never land of leinville until youve accrued 5 and paid for the ability. Only earned by this charactor should be used towards this purpose. |

Thanks for the grade Mav. Didn't know that about Abra's teleport, thought they were all the same, good to know. Might do another one to explain things a bit better. She didn't teleport herself, an outside force did. Didn't explain it as I wanted it to be mysterious and vague. And probably 'cause I was a little lazy and didn't want to commit to anything. Guess the idea in my head was it was Celebi or something like that. Hmm, does the 5 apply to her telekinesis as well?
