Ah, Brightopolis, her own personal hell. The towering spires that stretched to infinity above held only half the appeal of the massive mountains shed ventured through. The paved-down streets, the mark of society in every blown up billboard that hung screaming on every street cornerhumanity was starting to disgust her. Sometimes she understood what it was like to be a captured Pokemon, forced to go about the pains of everyday life, restricted and restrained, never an opportunity to live, evolve. . The less time she spent mingling here, the faster she could forsake it in favor of the wilderness. She took the proffered Pokeballs and entered the city limits, where chaos reigned ahead. She heard tale of the infamous PokeRUS, setting both beast and man mad with the power, disturbing the harmony of the region to the point where the Pokemon were being overhunted because of it, and have forcefully taken refuge into the cities while their habitats were defiled by the greedy. Served them right to her mind, and her purpose for this little excursion can safely be attributed to not concern to the denizens, but her own personal interests. A swath of Pokemon to catch and to kill, to drive away and perhaps find a prize worth the hunt. A beast of opportunity, she was willing to undertake the task of protecting their fair city, so long as she got something out of it. Solomon was released to aid their search, sailing silently through the network of streets, a massive azure wyrm as alien to the urban setting as sea beasts were to the skies. Glossy corporate windows catching the imposing visage, reflecting the magnitude of the situation to the dumb-downed penny pushers that watched in silent awe. The girl riding atop the monsters crown paid no heed to their stares, her focus on the hunt. And insectoid-like creature kept pace with them, dressed in hues of emerald save the contrasting ruby that adorned its eyes. Its bulk was dwarfed by the sea monster, but no less impressive, the draconian form rough and suitably muscled to manipulate the unyielding earth beneath them. They could only hope that it would have no need to resort to that kind of prowess. Jemilie wielded the underused Pokedex, flashing to the dragon the image of an insectoid-like creature not unlike itself. Be on the lookout for this. Every other Pokemon is free game, but I want this one for myself. A nod of confirmation, and the Flygon soared ahead. Another creature was released, the electric hound she kept constant at her side, invaluable in his skills and his usefulness as his head rose to the sky, taking in the scents and sounds and the sights half his vision allowed. Be vigilant- you and Solomon will be working together while we hunt. Soon as she was sure he understood, she patted the sea beasts attention. Lets make it a little more homely, shall we? Upwards they climbed, the Gyarados rearing the full length of its form skywards. Massive jaws parted, the rising chorus of a shrill otherworldly call piercing the dead space and resounding through the miles and miles of skyscrapers, buildings shaking on their foundations from the great bass. A softer cry responded from the heavens, darkness spreading to every corner of the space. The patter of the first drops was a whisper against the fading echos, and eventually cresendoed to the full symphony of a rainstorm. 0.3 ![]() The rains were most unwelcome to many of the inhabitants of this city. In particular, a hoard of fiery canines had sought to carve out a territory here, when they weren't at eachother's throats or tearing apart humans. They were smart enough to seek more suitable prey than a watery snake and a flying ground type, but the rain, mixed with their own virus-heightened emotions, resulted in the lot of them taking off in all directions, racing around for shelter. A few sought to end the rain at its source, which they correctly identified as your Gyarados, and they ran toward him with fangs bared, a foolish and suicidal move despite their high level. Most ran off before they could be caught. One, however, became a victim to something you no doubt found more appealing than the insane fire types. A blur of green streaked out from between a pair of buildings and descended on a Vulpix, slicing a gash across the fox's back. Only the power of PokeRUS, along with starvation, could make a pokemon try to make prey of their natural weakness. Or perhaps this particular Scyther was very bold, or just plain crazy. The answer of that question would not come now, because the Vulpix was currently valuing self-preservation over fighting. A roar burst from the little pokemon's jaws, making the ground shake beneath her. Her comrades paused in their charge, for a moment, at the sound, and the Scyther took off, vanishing into the buildings from which it had emerged. It was gone. That left you with three angry fire types, and one that was bleeding and didn't look fit to run anymore. --- Lvl 55 165/165 x 2[Charge!] Lvl 56 112/122[Leading the charge] Lvl 55 32/110[Bleeding and whimpering] Edited by Vulpix Windchimes, Nov 3 2009, 02:15 PM.

:0.3 ![]() From her perch high above ground, she could observe the tiny red figures as they fled from the growing storm. Fire types from the color, canines from the shape. Well, that was one part of the task completed somewhat, although a few had boldly started to approach in her direction when they caught sight of the flying sea serpents form calling for the rains. Well, if they wanted a fight- Avengers ears suddenly perked up, head turned sharply, following a racing figure Jemilie could hardly see. One of the approaching Pokemon- a Vulpix, she supposed- suddenly went down, a larger figure towering above it, gleaming blades digging into its back. Her eyes widened at the sight, blinking back the raindrops. Was it... The figure quickly raced off as the fire Pokemon, unwilling to roll over and play dead, sent it reeling away with a powerful Roar. Hiryu! After it! she barked at the nearby Flygon, pointing its route of escape. The dragon quickly descended after it in a flash, leaving her, Avenger and Solomon to deal with the three additional threats. Avenger would have to sniff them out later, wherever Hiryu went. She nodded to the Pokemon pointedly. Let it rain hell. Solomon, prepare to charge. The beast ascended once more, pausing long enough to transfer his trainer on one of the available balconies, and dropped the thunder hound on the highest spire of one of the buildings and retreated to safety. Alone, the Manectric had all the opportunity to unleash his devastating electrical prowess, calling to the gods in a raging howl that further aggravated the storm's fury. Erratic bolts of lightning shot from his fur, reflecting those that stabbed through the clouds in great bursts, tearing the ground apart with explosive power. Avenger might have never learned to adequately use his electric prowess, his family devastated long before he could remember, but the natural affinity to coerce the natural power with his will aided his attempt to redirect the exploses bursts, particularly at the motley gathering below them. Solomon curled up in still silence at the base of the building, waiting for the sky to finish its tantrum before following the second charge, bursting from the building's shadow and charging headlong towards the remnants of the group to take the rest out. Assuming there were any left. 0.3 ![]() Ok, so we have a thunder cloud. One that is producing torrents of rain and lightning. Perfect for a Thunder attack. Now, behold the awesome power of Thunder! The fire types halted momentarily so as to be awed by the awesome power of Thunder. The Manectric is now the master of the show, displaying the awesome power of Thunder. Lightning shot out from the clouds towards the electric dog. They struck, and the Manectric began channeling the electricity in an awesome display. Electricity crackled and fizzled in the air as the Manectric chose a point of focus in the air. The electricity gathered to that point into a ball. Now, comes the shaping. The electricity continued to crackle and fizzle in all sorts of directions as the ball was shaped into a cylinder. The once smooth surface sharpened into four edges as the head of a hammer is formed. And it looks fancy to boot! Along the midsection of the head extended the handle. A thin trail of electricity connected itself between the handle and the dog. The Manectric gave the hammer a few test swings, before turning his gaze upon his foes. The fire types were too awed beyond words at this awesome display of power. Fixating the hammer above the awestruck Pokemon, the Manectric swung it down with all his might. The attack had an explosive effect. The dogs plus fox realized the danger they were in too late as the hammer slammed down on the ground. The force of the attack caused the ground to crack, and the explosion of electricity flung the dogs up into the air. The focus of the attack, the Vulpix, lay flattened under the force of the hammer, out of the battle. While the hammer was brought down, the water snake began to dance among the rain. When the explosion, and the dogs flying in the air, happened, the Gyarados charged in for the kill. Unfortunately, the Thunder attack had scattered the dogs. Therefore, they were too far apart for one attack to hit two at once. After a moment's bit of hesitation, the Gyarados chose one, went for it. The dog experienced the full power of the stormy seas as the water snake slammed its tail on it. It was out before it even collided with the ground. The other dog, upon seeing its fallen comrades, growled and faced the water snake. Its fur burst in flames as it fell towards the Gyarados. Now with one dog down and one more to take care of, the water snake turned around to be met with the fury of a meteor. The attack caused the Gyarados to crash to the ground with the pup standing on the sinuous body. Not to be outdone, the injured Vulpix seized the chance to invade the water snake's mind, and rape it. 0.3 ![]() Jemilie observed the spectacle Avenger created through squinted eyes- summoning a massive burst of lighting and smiting the group with all the godly power of Thors mighty hammer of judgement. Half the group thoroughly purged, the survivors taking their rage out on the sea serpent. Solomon fell from one of the canines attacks- a powerful Flare Blitz that exploded on impact- uncurling along the streetways and sparing the buildings the brunt of his massive weight. Almost like watching a Godzilla movie, though with less the mindless destruction and chaos, Jemilie thought, waiting for the great beast to pick itself up and whistling it over to her. She did the same to the Manectric, swiftly making his way down from balcony to balcony. The dog had excellent maneuverability, but was still in danger of a misstep that could send him plummeting miles to the ground. The vantage point was ideal to launch the worst of his electrical prowess- aided by the thundering skies, he would rarely miss his target as it hit wide as well as hard, enveloping anything unfortunate enough to be caught within the zone of impact. Even with the attacks, Solomon remained largely unfazed, and returned to attention with little more than a groan, pushing off the ground once more. Avenger met him halfway, leaping off a final outcropping to slide down the steel-like spines, slick with the storm continually raging above them, crackling down as he did. The tail smoothly directed his path, towards one of the surviving Vulpix theyd ignored thus far. The thunder canine lowered his form, gaining speed from the decent, electricity further building at his core with all the intention of slamming every fiber into the little dipshit. They really werent gong to mess with it, seeing as it was too injured to be a threat, but if it insisted. Solomons tail angled in preparation, the monsters slit orbs trained on the remaining Growlithe that knocked it down with such powerful force. It had admirable spirit, something Jemilie could appreciate. Maybe if it actually survived Solomons attack, it would prove to be useful. Lv 46 138/138-Sp. .3 ....... Bit of advice. Don't use a souped up Gyarados and a water attack on a fire type if you want to catch it. There is no way I can reduce almost 400 damage on the damage calculator to less than 100 any way I look at it. Avenger slides down easily, and the Vulpix attempts to meet his charge, but is annihilated by the electricity blasting out from the manectric, and then Solomon raises his tail, water dripping off it and FLATTENS the growlithe. As he lifts his tail up and peers at what's left. That is one pancaked puppy. Solomon and Avenger each get 1.8 XP, however. |

0.2 (XD Well, for some reason it only did like, 55 damage to that one Growlithe, so I was thinking mods were screwing up or sumfin.)Jemilie looked over the scene slightly satisfied. The dogs were taken care of, and all was well in Brightopolis town for the moment, now that it wasn't terrorized by territorial wild hounds any longer. But the object of her hunt was yet to be attained. Only a fleeting glance of its emerald visage, teasing her with its elusive allure, letting her know it was indeed here in this town. Waiting for her. The knowledge fueled her on, taking her two fighters and directing Solomon down the path the creature took. Dealing with the dogs might've seemed to take only a moment, but with the speed the insect fleeing the scene, it could be blocks down before they would catch wind of it again. "We need more altitude," she advised Solomon. Naturally, Scyther were master hunters and stalkers; their prey wouldn't be dumb enough to be out in the open. But then again, this was a city- a completely different jungle where, in the air, a network of secret paths were exposed that no steel roof or square building could conceal. It was simply a matter of perusing the general vicinity of where'd they'd seen it last. Though it was not the bug itself she searched for, but the more conspicuous dragon Pokemon, whom she sent prior to keep tabs on it while she was preoccupied with other distractions. Hiryu was a reckoning force on his own, with power and speed to match even the legendary insect, and she was certain he wouldn't lose him so easily. She turned to the canine at her side, always ready an alert. "Can you pick up Hiryu's scent? We'll follow." Avenger was placed down on the street, slowly beginning to flood with Solomon's torrential downpour whom was requested to sustain it throughout the mission. While he was doing his mythical dance, Avenger was scurrying around, trying to catch wind of Hiryu's possible position, and they followed after the bright yellow blue streak. -------------- Park Balls: 20 Caputured: 0 -Still lookin for Scyther -Solomon used another Rain Dance to keep up tha showerz. |

.3 (*checks posts prior* I...think that it might have KO'd the other growlithe and all the electricity is what did 55 to the surviving one...but hmm. It is confusing. I just know I got like 380-something damage from the calculater when I put the factors in, myself. ^.^;;) Off they went, searching throught the city, relying on a dog's keen nose to tack down that which they desired. There was a thinning of what was within the city, what with everyone about doing their best to capture just about anything that so much as twitched. However, eventually your companions paused, as something lunged out of the shadows, jaws snapping hungrily. And those were some big jaws. The creature spun about, looking a lot less manacing with the massive mouth behind him now, almost seeming like a ponytail...if you hadn't already seen the teeth in it. Unfortunately, it's not a scyther, either, but...it looks about ready to try to eat something. 0.2 (Mhm, thanks for the clearing up. Thats for Eevee, not you DF. You get 0.000000000000000000000000000001.)The drowning rains were soaking her every inch and Jemilie was thankful for Brightopolis balmy weather, otherwise she wouldnt be able to stand traveling with her Pokemon in these conditions. Rain was a reckoning force in its own right, though no one could tell at first before the full momentum of its violence could reach its highest peak. Through the darkness, she continued to search for any flash of emerald moving about the streets, whether it was Hiryu or her sneaky mantis target. It would have saved time to simply have Solomon run through the massive metropolis in a fit of righteous rage. It was what his kind was designed to do, after all, and for a moment of quiet contemplation, she considered it. Nah. More trouble than its worth- shed rather not have extra attention on her end. Avenger suddenly froze in his lope, head and ears perking up to full attention, sensing an entity the other two couldnt. All the trainer could see was the canine standing stock still in the middle of the street, concentrating hard deep in the nearby shadows. If something lay within them, the curtain of water made it impossible to see even a hint of what it could possibly be. He finally leapt back as a figure moved into the open, the flash of massive jaws snapping hungrily at his previous position. It turned, and Jemilie quickly recognized the deceiving shape of a Mawlie, the jaws retreating behind a smaller, less-imposing form. Attempting to eat a Manectric? It was clearly not right in the head, and Jemilie didnt regret attempting to correct it in the most painful manner she knew. She raised her hand, giving Avenger the go-ahead to do as he wished. The azure fur crackled to light, electricity dancing across his form more freely in the present damp, and happily traveled in the direction of his target, while he crouched, ready to spring at it. Jaws glowed with the fire building deep betwixt his jaws, held patiently until he could reach the appropriate proximity to release without the bad weather affecting its effectiveness. Being able to hold down the creature was enough to expose it the full power of his fiery prowess. Meanwhile, Jemilie continued to look about for any sign of her lost dragon. .3 It was all over in a blur of fur, in his eyes, anyhow. There was a blast of electricity, then OMGTEETH in his face, then a shriek of anguish as fires washed over him, leaving the formerly confident beast of a moment ago in a twitching heap of pain on the ground, unable to even retaliate before it was done. Avenger gets 1.5 ![]() And so everyone was free to carry on, and so they did, scanning the sky, ground and alleyways for anything. Though, the search was again interrupted as apruptly one of the buildings was plowed through, sending rubble flying every which way. "Urrrr..." 0.3 ![]() Avenger's wrath was swift and finely executed, the much slower steel-type barely able to react as electricity further immobolized it, and a quick and easy defeat met with an explosion of fire that not even the rains could relieve before it succumbed to its effects. The hound let it drop limply from its jaws, watching quietly for a moment before perking up again. A section of wall exploded nearby, diverting the girl's attention from her search for her missing dragon and sighed. The damn place was swarming with them- it didn't look like she could take her eyes off her Pokemon for one minute without risking losing them to some shit-mad, virus-ridden animals. As it turns out, this one was a bit more of a challenge than the previous encounters, nothing like the pups or the smaller, creepy-looking deception Pokemon. Pure bulk and muscle made the entirety of its massive frame, the perfect vehicle to deliver the madness that resided in all the wild once, as the poor unfortunate wall had so demonstrated. Its crazed eyes searched the emptiness of the street, for something else to subject to its violence, perhaps. Jemilie decided to take the initiative and released an Pokeball, sending another Pokemon the deal with the new threat before it caught up them. The darkness was illuminated briefly with explosions of light, fading to the soft glow of a golden fire flickering within the torrent of rain. The wielder remained oblivious, stretching his great wings and eying the desolate surroundings until his sky blue eyes came upon the hulking grizzly. Arms and claws flexed, a huff of heated breath puffing from his maw. "No fire, Hwajeh," Jemilie told him. "Focus." Right. He set his claws before him, concentrating all his energy in the space between until they began to radiate with a fiery light, clashing in the space between them to form an orb of energy. The Charizard held it firm, letting it grow to a sizable amount before stomping towards the Ursaring, swinging his arms back and prepared to deliver. The illusion he loved to use cast multiple shadows around his form, hoping to further baffle the confused creature should it come to its senses long enough to attack back. 0.2 ![]() For all the brute strength the Ursaring showcased, it fell quite easily under Hwajeh's claws, proving that human-raised creatures were far more superior than even hormonally-enhanced ones. The energy fizzled away from the fire dragon's claws upon seeing the figure fall like a great oak into the waters, but it was soon becoming routine to anticipate another encounter as soon as the last was through. Avenger barked a warning, leaping past Hwajeh to investigate the unconscious Ursaring. Though Hwajeh had hit it from the front and with an energy attack, two long gashes made itself visible at the ursine's sides- evidence of an attack they had no part of. The next time they heard a sound nearby, they all picked it up, not just Avenger. It couldn't have been far...or it wasn't trying to hide. Only a few precious seconds to make a move before it did, if the bear's condition was any indication of its intentions. "Sniff it out, Avenger, and slow it down," she ordered quietly, not wishing to draw it's attention towards her. Though she still mounted Solomon, who's lowered his massive form to the street to better communicate to the grounded Pokemon, she didn't feel he would be adequate protection from a surprise attack from the shadows. She continued on swiftly, "Hwajeh, follow him and cut off its exit." She made sure both Pokemon understood before they moved, the half-blind thunder hound quick to picking up the scent of scattered blood before the rain had a chance to wash it away, Hwajeh skipping close on his heals with fire building in his maw. A shadow passed overhead, the faint flash of emerald causing her to duck. It landed alongside her, claws gripping the slick armor of the Gyarados and growled pleasantly. "Hiryu?" she blinked up at him. "Hiryu, did you follow that thing back here?" For a second the dragon looked sheepish, scratching a cheek, his head bobbing somewhere between a nod and a shake. "...Well, forget it. Follow the others. I think they might have it on the run." With a salute, the green earth dragon floated off after Hwajeh's tailflame, and Jemilie sighed quietly to herself. .3 Being hidden though gave him an advantage. The dog Pokemon did smell him out; the faint stink of a bug-type combined with the delicious odor of blood was unmistakable. The Scyther though was prepared, already performed a Swords Dance - he dashed forwards, creating a X and snipping through the Manectric's fur. The dog Pokemon yowled before falling, the crackling in his fur though affecting the movement of the Scyther now - he was paralyzed. The fire spun around the green bug now though - he was trapped now as well, the electricity crackling around his joints, the fire blazing through his exoskeleton. To top it off, the green dragon now appeared out of nowhere and hit him in the back. Gang-rape, this was all a gang-rape, the Scyther yelled out in fury. He hated battles that were not one-on-one. Well, he'd show them who's boss. - fainted![]() 150/150 ![]() ![]() 204/204 ![]() VS ![]() 87/147 ![]() +2 Attack ~Paralyzed Edited by Air Sylph, Nov 14 2009, 12:16 PM.

0.2 ![]() Ganging up on Pokemon...ah, how she missed those days. It used to be enjoyable, but even she held her own code of honor that prevented her from throwing another member out to fight against a difficult opponent. Of course, it was always powerplay on her side- never the other way around, even when double the foes were on the field against her own fighters. No matter. It wasn't an issue this time. There was no honor it taking lives, the way this one seemed to be doing. And justifying it by the natural order of predator and prey...predators kill to live, not when it tickled their fancy. So there was no remorse, even as the Scyther howled its rage within Hwajeh's swirling fire trap. The effect was dampened slightly by Solomon's rains, but it provided the most convenient means of immobilization while she made her move. Tsking softly, she recalled Avenger, who'd been doing most of the work thus far. The poor dog deserved the time to rest, and she left it to Hiryu to finish things while Hwajeh stood aside. "Hiryu!" she tossed and orb, the green dragon it catching easily in one claw, and looked at it curiously. "Drop it on the Scyther," she instructed. Hiryu had a better shot at it than she did. With the fire in a mini-vortex, it was easy to derail the device from her target, but not with Hiryu's ability to get in close enough to hit it without missing. He inclined his in understanding, and vanished in a should of shadows, coming to reform again behind the writhing insect, Park Ball released to smack the insect. 0.3 ![]() The Scyther slashed at the flames surrounding him. The flames, despite the fact that it's raining, would not go away. The praying mantis snarled in frustration. These flames are being very pesky. If only he knew some technique that would blow these flames away, he could finally get back to business. But, how? Rain would not douse these flames, and trying to cut them down would not work either. Hmm. A lightbulb appeared above the Scyther's head. If he were to twist his body, and spin around, maybe he could blow away the flames. He couldn't think of anything else to try. Scythers couldn't learn Rapid Spin at all. So, how would this one acheive it? Stick around to find out. The mantis calmed down, allowing the flames to lick at him. He entered a state of high focus, then spun around. The flames got absorbed in his spinning frame, gradually. The mantis continued to spin and spin until his entire body is covered by flames. Then he spun even more. Remember the episode when Bugsy had her Scyther use Swords Dance to repel flames? That's what this one is doing. Unfortunately, before he had the chance to blow away the flames, something slammed into him. Crying out in fury, the mantis tried to slash at his unseen assailant, and one of his scythes connected with something hard. He let out a cry of triumph, when he realized that he was being sucked in. He was tossed into a dark space with no light. He thrashed about blindly. The flames surrounding him were of no help either. He thrashed against the dark space; he thrashed about against the flames consuming him. Eventually, he found a crack and drove his scythes into the crack. Light immediately flooded his vision. He blinked, his eyes getting used to the light. He looked about for his unseen assailant. Ah, there it is. A flying insect. A spark flew across his vision. Looking down at himself, he saw that he was on fire. He cared not. At least he's free from the wall of flames. His scythes made a "Schhhzt!" sound as the mantis rubbed them against each other. He tensed his muscles, then leaped at the insect before the paralysis kicked in. The electricity coursed through his veins and muscles, causing them to twitch and spasm uncontrollably. He lay on the ground, limbs twitching this way and that. He glanced at the flying insect with deep hatred. He would not go down alone. ![]() Lvl 49 48/147+4 Attack Paralyzed, Burned *Free'd from Fire Spin, but on fire* Capture Failed! VS Lv 51 204/204

0.3 ![]() Almost in the same vein as the Scyther, Jemilie sighed with utmost frustration. This one was proving to be quite stubborn to catch. But she did admire a struggle- a Pokemon willing to fight for its life to its last breath was worth forging loyalties with. She had no use of such creatures who'd harbor a hatred towards her, though- being uncooperative savages out for her head the moment her back was turned. If anything, she would have Hiryu finish it already and move on to start another search. The dragon could very easily strike a finishing blow with it already incapacitated by Avenger's thunder and Hiryu's fire, and one wouldn't say it would've been a wasted effort from what they'd gained from their efforts to find it. However, Jemilie was the kind who would opt to use all available means in getting what she wanted, even if it didn't seem they would work. She had nothing to lose in this, after all, and- when it gave itself a good think about it- neither did the Scyther. Perhaps the minor hindrance of being limited to wander only within the vicinity which she occupied, but she traveled quite often enough that it barely qualified. Food, shelter, and her only request- for it to fight for her, and Scyther were born fighters. She had Solomon drop her off to the ground, landing in a less than graceful splash, though at this point the extra moisture couldnt really bother her all that much. She felt Hwajehs eyes glue to her as she approached the danger zone, pausing momentarily to acknowledge the flicker off a piece of long cylindrical scrap metal, torn from the building the Ursaring had emerged from. She took it in her hands without comment, the heavy cold iron gripped expertly in her hands as her old fighting canes. The proximity between her and the enemy insect tightened, now making out the evidence of Hwajehs fire with the scorched exoskeleton, and its muscles spasming uncontrollably with Avengers influence. Close enough to see the hatred in its eyes, the unmistakable sharpness of its blades and the blood that stained them Hiryu cut off the rest of her advance in one definitive stomp before her, rising to his full height to glare down at her with the ruby visors. A warning for her not to advance further, knowing full well the potential of the bladed insects skills, not wishing to subject the girl to any chance it could take to put her in harms way. But for all the intimidation Hiryu could muster, the smaller trainer glared back unflinchingly, and turned her attention back to the fallen warrior, keeping her faade composed. We dont have to continue this cycle of hate, you there, she said clearly enough for it to hear, even though most likely her words were falling on deaf ears. Pokemon did have that subconscious understanding of human language to a degree, but combined with its PokeRUS-addled thinking and its current rage against Hiryu, that it still possessed that understanding was a very slim assumption. Still, she continued to be diplomatic, since it obviously still had the brainpower to strategize a counter to the ensnaring Fire Spin. Youll fall either way, if not to Hiryu then to other humans who are here hunting the rest of your kind down. Its not a question of you being able to take all of them, but a question of how long youll last, and in your current state, it doesnt look like for too long. She reached behind her, unclipping another of the spare Park Balls and tossed it. Not at the Scytherthe orb rolled harmlessly toward it until it came to a stop just right before the heavy blades. A means of escape, from them and yourself, she offered. You have that madness driving you to your own destruction, but its not irredeemable. Prove yourself worth living and put it to a better use. Slay our foes and save the innocent. Or stay the selfish fool till the end. Killers are not shown mercy. Both dragons maws rolled back in emphasis, Hwajehs burning with red fire, Hiryus with blue. Jemilies own hand gripped the heavy metal while the other tapped on a third Park Ball. She couldnt say she never gave it a chance to choose. Then again, she couldnt say she played fair either. 0.3 ![]() Of course, PokeRUS affected the mantis' mind such that the virus addled its common sense. In the state he was in, this Scyther understood one thing: battle. Therefore, its only answer was a snarl and a leap forward, brandishing his scythes at the human. His attack was cut short as Hiryu slammed into him and pinned him down so that he won't harm the trainer. The mantis made all sorts of noises that you would not expect coming from a Scyther, and flailed around, trying to slash at the insect dragon with his scythes. He did not do much, for a Park Ball smashed into his head. He felt himself being sucked in once more, and thrashed about in the space that was inside the Park Ball. However, that was when his paralysis kicked in. The mantis had no choice but to "allow" the ball to capture him. The next time you meet him, he would have no memory of what had just happened. ![]() Lvl 49 18/149Caught! Edit: have some partial EXP, too. Call it 1.3 .
