So, Brightopolis is packed, and you've all been called in to round up the infestation and get it out of the nice people's hair. All the in-fighting caused by over-aggressiveness has caused damage to the city and humans. The place is packed. Large-scale battles in the streets among wild Pokemon are frequent, and because of the ratio of empty space to something dangerous, you can bring up to six of your Pokemon. At the end, you will be able to keep a minimum of one Pokemon you catch. Remember, PokeRUS bonuses are active. Upon entering the city limits, you are handed 20 Park Balls by stationed marshals. Your time is up when you run out of Park Balls, all six of your Pokemon are fainted, or November the 16th passes. (That's two weeks from now.) You can use no healing items. Judging will be based on what you've caught, not its level. We're changing the Encounter Lists a little, so rarer Pokemon will be much more prevalent. One character per person, please. Give Genexp! Anyone can help mod this, so please do. MP is given at its usual rate. There is no level limit. For our Encounter Lists, we are drawing on every area touching Brightopolis and two more. This means the desert, the beach, the ocean, the grasslands, the two forests, and the valley. Encounter Lists (APLs affect only the level encountered, not the species) Common and uncommon become one 'Average Posts' category. Rare becomes 'Great Posts'. Super-rare becomes 'Exceptional Posts'. Be careful with these, if the post isn't something truly amazing, don't give them out. I'll be watching. There are docks for the water-types. Good luck! |

Here's some clarifications on how this will be judged and yadda yadda. I know I forgot to say this. Whenever something is caught in a Park Ball, it immediately fizzles out of existence and pops up in a big central PC system set-up by the Park Committee. That means you can't use them in the contest or in the canon once you've caught it here, dudes! On November the 16th--that's in nine days you guys!--we stop. A new post will be made and I'll close all the topics wherever they are. Even if you were in the middle of a battle. Sorry, but we're all stopping at the exact same time, whether you need modded or just were, or whatever. Scoring will be based on the rarity of Pokemon caught. I'll be assigning point totals to the different rarities, with a deviation of + or - 1 at my discretion. Looking down the board, I see there's already huge discrepancies in mods and posts. I'm thinking of ways to sort of equalize this, so that no one wins simply because they were modded more. Feel free to add your levels when you reach a Pokemon Center in the canon. See you cats then.
