"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"
|
III. Chapter 2: The Legend of Black Pass It was a restless night for those of you with little resolve, but morning came at last. Ar Oeight hundred, you gathered in the chilly hanger of the subterranean facility and waited for the chopper to fuel up. At last the pilot slammed back the sliding door of the Huey II and shouted. Load up! He belted out with little patience. He didnt need to remind you to duck under the whirling blades as he climbed into the cabin and warmed up the engine, prepping it for the chilling winds the old craft would have to endure during its escape from Italicus sub-zero climate. Overhead, a massive star shaped door retracted back into the earth, revealing the purple hued morning sky. The ground crew slammed the sliding doors back into place, latching it tight once you were all seated like sardines and harnessed in. Lift off was smooth, and you each wore a headset and could hear the pilot chatting with his co-pilot about the expected wind speeds and air traffic about. Below, the sweeping expanse of white came into view and the gaping hole in the ground closed up. The hanger was once more camouflaged and undefined. The next three hours were uneventful. You watched through the small foggy windows of the military aircraft, the land changing from frigid ice, to rolling deep blue waves of the eastern ocean, to neatly blocked squares of greens and yellow as you passed over the farm lands. More blue and finally the gray red hues of the ash fields and carmine mountains. The Pilot made a brief announcement that he was setting down just outside of town. The chopper landed three miles outside of town to detract attention from the locals that the military was present. Raising suspicions as to why the OME was in Ashdell was something you wanted to avoid. Obviously, your first priority would be to locate and infiltrate the old folks home without causing undue stress among its residents. Not too challenging for a bunch of professionals tugging at the leash to prove just how well they work together. Right? Sure Sunny Side Retirement Home could be found on the southern end of town as indicated on the map Floyd provided you during the briefing. From the brochures you could easily find on the internet, you could see it was Mountain View property and the building was white with four large columns and a second floor balcony overlooking the ash pits. It was reminiscent of a southern style plantation home and boasted of old world class and well trimmed lawns. Ashdell itself was a built up community and highly industrialized. But you could see that from the description in its forum. You were left with a decision to make. Would you follow Floyds suggestion and travel through town to the home, or would you rebuff his attempt at leadership and go straight for the old road leading to the forgotten little mining town of Black Pass? You will HAVE to RP with each other in order to complete this event.

ain't no new thing

.4 There were multiple reasons Aris was looking a little scragglier than usual, wrapped up in his thickest coat and encased in a tired blanket. His only identification were the jangling dog-tags dangling around his neck, and he couldn't wait for a moment of peace to discard them. Now weaving through the cold military halls and hangars with his fellow OME members, well, it just didn't seem appropriate. While little could be said for his heavy-duty clothing, there was no chance of him discarding that. Stuffed inside were various homemade explosives that he'd labored away the last night with. They were all strapped tight to his body, the testy fruits of his labor so ready to fly and fry. The one giving him particular trouble was a potassium chlorate plastic explosive taped to his bicep. He could feel it start to move. A memorable few hours had been spent molding a container to his arm and skimming the chemicals from bleach. Careful addition of ice packs and heating pads had gotten it to the right temperature. He wished Floyd was here. Sure, he probably wouldn't approve of everything he was carrying on his person, but, surely he wasn't so naive to to think he wouldn't bring a little something along. He yawned, and stretched his arm over his head. The pack slid down into a more secure position. Floyd had practically given him permission, anyway. "Here for your special talents"? It was just proof. Even mister high-and-mighty general wasn't averse to breaking a few of his precious laws if it suited him. If only he could see that they weren't necessary to begin with. Was Aris going to hurt someone? Never. That was the last thing someone like him wanted to do. He'd give the group fair warning when they reached the island. Not like he could explain keeping this massive coat on in such a climate. They walked through a last door into a frigid, cavernous building. The suit was good for this, too. In the center of the room was a sleek, military helicopter that he graciously piled in to. He pulled his limbs in close, and cast a threatening look at anyone that might try to sit too close, and padded his thigh. There rested a package of thermite (rust, gotten from a few nails soaked in salt water and charged with a DC converter from a train set purchased at a local hobby shop, mixed some aluminum filings from a pipe, with a magnesium ribbon). If someone was going to get hurt, it would be what was waiting for them on that island. Or, well, himself. He'd taken the risk. The door was shut, and they lifted out of the complex. Aris pressed his face to the window. It was so warm, so comfortable. He'd been this high before, but never in this luxury. "Damn..." he muttered. Soon, they arrived on Corona. They had been given two options. Head to Sunnyside Retirement Home and talk with their grandparents, or head straight to the mining town. Without raising suspicions of why the military was here to begin with. The whistle-blower within was hard to fight off, the urge to step out and call some news agencies, or more important, get it on the internet, was so strong. But, he stayed within the group, instead opting to clutch the blanket tighter to himself. Someone would ask, but he just needed his things a little longer, until they were out of sight of the helicopter pilot. "Hey, I couldn't care less where we go. Let's just start walking, now," he said, smiling. "The sooner we get to the town, the better. I'd be in favor of splitting up. I'll take the infantry and head towards the town, Recon can go to the Retirement Home. R&D, um, do whatever. How's about you guys?" Was he sweating from the heat, or the pressure? [ Gen.EXP ] 0.3 --------------------------------------
Spoiler: click to toggle --------------------------------------Broken. Tired. Anti-Social. All the things that could make a leader a terrible one. But Kaizanu would pull through. Holding in her heart the information divulged to her, she boarded the helicopter, followed by the others. In what order, she did not care for, but requested the leaders of each branch sit close by, so she could converse with them. And so, for clarity, the follow information to be told will be given only directly to the leaders of each group, and overhearing? Fat chance. Gathering her underlings, she carefully looked at the three of them. Slowly at first, then glancing across all of them. "The mission, as stated previously, is to secure the old mining town for purposes of the government," Kaizanu said, "but the biggest question here, is probably: why the military?" She paused. For a moment, she had not been sure, but after reviewing her private stash of information she knew it was not something she could keep to herself. "Well, I'll keep it short, soldiers: civilians had already gone in, but went missing. This is not only a mission to secure the city, but also a rescue mission, if we can." She sincerely wanted to bring home the lost, due to the righteous, sometimes naive, ideals she kept. Looking passed her group of higher officials, Kaizanu took notes of the rest of the Soldiers of the Opaddeka Military Establishment (SOME, for short) and realized that she wanted to make sure the orders were clear. And this would be open to all in the helicopter to hear. "I do want the Cerberus group to interview the Senior Citizens to gather information, and to minimize the intimidation factor, I'd like only a few to go in - Who, exactly, will be up to Lt. Colonel Cerberus," she nodded. They would be in charge of gathering the information and reporting it accordingly. "When we arrive, we will all head down to the Retirement Home just long enough to gather our information. After wards, we will move out for the Black Pass. "From the Black Pass, I suggest we send a scouting party ahead to see the path. Corporal Chadwick will be in said party, in order to gather details on the area. From that point on, I will see the directions as appropriate," Kaizanu concluded. Soon, they landed, regrouping and Kaizanu looking down towards the city and, especially its Retirement Home. Raising her hand, and releasing her anorith onto the field (who promptly attached himself to her shoulder), she waved for all personnel to start heading - or at least walking. "I can't have our group splitting right now, but once arriving to the Black Pass, it is a high possibility," she looked to Aris, then to the rest, "I'd like to hear any other questions, concerns, or additions, now." .3 Curtis had hopped into the plane rather quickly. He kept his head down just like they did back in the movies he always used to watch, he wasn't really sure if it did anything until he was under those spinning things of death that were above him. So after flopping into the chopper, he looked at who else was in here... It had just been that one guy who interrupted the day before. Was he early or something? So not wanting to draw attention to himself, he sat as far away from the man as physically possible. It was freezing, he had been advised by the internet to dress lightly, due to the hot weather that Corona Island typically had. So he took this advice, wearing a normal Camo top on his torso, it was made from basic fabric material so it would be a lot cooler than going in full gear. On his waist he had two things attached, On the left was his pistol, and and the right was his knife. He pakced away his Night Vision goggles as well. Didn't want to get caught off guard. The rest of the people that would be going on this mission entered, and he really didn't pay all that much attention. He was just remaining pretty silent. He still didn't feel all that confident about speaking to the other members of this organization just yet. Still seeing where he stood pretty much. He poked around on a few of his OME apps on his Poketech trying to find the person he would answer to during this mission, after-all they were already heading out. He found that it was Corporal Chadwick, unless he was mistaken. With that task completed, he dozed off for the rest of the flightto Ashdell. He wanted to catch up on a bit of his sleep. With what felt like seconds to him, he opened his eyes again, rubbing them lightly. It had only felt like a few moments, but in reality it had been several hours. He looked out the window to see a totally different climate outdoors. It looked like it would be a lot warmer, finally. When the chopper landed, he piled out of it with everyone else, as he turned to the woman Floyd had put in charge. She was telling everyone that for now they should stick together. This caused him to shrug, he'd answer to his superior, he'd probably know more about this than him. He walked along with the rest of the group not wanting to stick out too much. |

(0.3 )Alex didn't like helicopters much. Between the low-lying rotating blades and the necessarily cramped interior, he could think of much better ways of flying. Ways that didn't run the risk of him getting decapitated when he tried to get on or off them. Like most of the other soldiers on the mission, he'd dressed with the climate change in mind, opting for a number of layers that he could add or remove as the ambient temperatures called for it. Once on the chopper, he sat with the other group leaders and listened to Kaizanu's briefing. He still wasn't quite sure why he'd been assigned to lead the R&D group. Probably because Kaizanu was heading the expedition, and R&D was otherwise a comparatively small division. The Lt. General imparted some details that made the reason for a military presence a bit clearer - civilians going missing would eventually warrant further investigation. That, however, raised another question - why had they gone missing? His job to find out, he supposed. Several hours later, and the helicopter had touched down outside Ashdell. Alex disembarked (ducking quite a bit more than strictly necessary), and joined the rest of the party. He spotted a blonde teenager in the group, recognising him from the OME records as Private Curtis Michaels, one of the R&D new recruits. The boy looked very young for a military person, but those were the OME's lax age requirements for you. Not like Alex was particularly old himself. He went over and introduced himself, so that Curtis could put a face to the name he'd been given. "Curtis Michaels? I'm Corporal Alex Chadwick. You'll be with me." His team wouldn't be called into action until they hit the Black Pass, so Alex stayed with the others as they made their way to the retirement home. He hoped that the locals wouldn't be too worried by the military presence that was suddenly in their town. |

It's not worth it.
|
0.3 A slight, electric twinge gripped Prosper's thoughts as they began piling into the helicopter and he noticed the whirling blades that rotated menacingly above them. The most recent time he had spent in a helicopter was when Opaddeka had been threatened by Darkrai, and even then, it had been his first time. The travel method still hadn't grown on him, thought he supposed seeing such awesome sights from high up in the air was worth it. Still, having his head accidentally lopped off didn't sound appealing. Prosper took his seat, and soon enough, they were borne into the skies. The young trainer tried to snatch as many glances out the windows as possible as Opaddeka shrunk beneath them. Once they had reached the optimum altitude and were coasting along towards Ashdell, he settled back for a long ride. The night had been short and he was sure he had fallen asleep a few times, but it felt like only a few minutes before the Lt. General was standing before them, prepping them for the next stage. Floyd had mentioned possibly interviewing some of the folks at the retirement home back at the initial briefing, but Prosper never imagined it would be his division that would be assigned the task. It sounded more like something that would fall under the R&D division, though the sergeant wasn't about to argue. He supposed that he would just have to grin and bear it. Adults never really seemed to like him, but somehow, he would make it through. Once they had landed, Prosper climbed to his feet, giving his sleeping limbs a well-deserved stretch. As they exited, he might have ducked a little bit lower than normal, giving the waning blades no chance to come anywhere near him. He took a few steps out and immediately noticed the hot, stale air assaulting them. It was incredibly humid, and the faint taste of ash lingered on the breeze. Trying to forget about his desperate thirst, Prosper turned back towards the chopper, waiting for the rest of his group to catch up. |

Go for it, run towards it, dive in head first. Live life with no regrets!
|
.2 ![]() Steely had gone back to her room and pondered a plan for the old folks home for quite some time. Though she didn't come up with anything concrete, she finally fell asleep at some point or another... only for the idea to strike her in the middle of her sleep. "I got it!" -- The next day in the hangar, she appeared with a different team of Pokemon then she had the previous day... and not quite looking like herself. Instead of her standard long trenchcoat and gray camouflage pants, the coat was simply gone and blue jeans replaced the pattern of greens. She carried a big duffel bag in her other hand, which likely held the rest of her gear since she wasn't wearing any of that either. No guns, no knives, none of those shenanigans. She was still wearing her gloves, and... for whatever reason, her left arm was so tight to her side that it was threatening to assimilate into her torso and hip. She was sort of sleepy, and piled into the chopper after a lethargic little wave at Cerb and Alex, sitting by one of the windows somewhat near Kaiz so she could listen to what she'd already assumed. She almost didn't seem like she was listening to her superior, really. "I already have a plan, Lieutenant General, relax and let me take care of it," she said suddenly, loud enough that everyone would hear, not even bothering to look at her as she continued to peer out the window. She was one of the last people out of the helicopter, stooping low like they all did till she was clear of the blades. Steely looked around at everyone... nearly all in military gear, and the group of them was decently enough sized. No doubt it would cause trouble just by being there. "I know that you just said you don't want us to split up yet... but I think only the people going into the home should go over there. Think about it," she gestured around at everyone, decked out in their camouflage like most of them were, "A group of military looking folk go in, most of them stand around outside the retirement home and some others go in? I don't think so. That'd get everyone on us in about three seconds," She looked around, spotting Prosper in his gear, "Either way, you're not coming in. Nobody who's in uniform are coming with us. To be honest, I'd really like all of you to either stay here or wait for us on the edge of town or something so we don't attract all this attention," With that, she turned to the only person she knew wasn't in uniform: Cerb. "You're with me, for sure. Hopefully at least one other person actually thought about this before hand and didn't wear their garb..." she looked around waiting to see if anyone would come forward or whatever. So far, it looked like it was just going to be the two of them. She wasn't going to divulge her plan until she had the third and final person for their group. The duffel bag was still in her other hand without explanation, and her left arm was still tight against her side... without explanation. -- I'm assuming that, unless said otherwise like Mav told us to, that you're all in uniform of some sort. I already know Cerb isn't, since I asked her. Steely isn't, she's in plain jeans and a shirt, and her hat and gloves, but nothing that stands out too much. |

Just an FYI. An additional thread will be created for those not entering the building. I have a side story for you guys prepared too so you're not exactly standing around and doing nothing. You're still in town though and the second 'outside' group will be given an area to roam on the next mod. Speaking of which, I think we just about have everyone so I'm planning for Saturday, Sunday at the latest for the next mod! Thanks! PS Feel free to continue bickering or whatever. .3 [for Steely]Military gear? As far as it was concerned, Cerb had never worn it. She'd never even thought about it, really, since her normal clothing had always seemed to serve her well enough. At the moment, she was wearing her standard attire of jeans and a t-shirt and her jacket, though because Italicus was fucking cold this was all accented with a scarf and her kittyear hat. It would be easy to transition to the hot climate of Corona once they got there. So off into the chopper with Sparky, who crawled up her shoulder to look out the window and chitter while they flew. Cerb partially dozed in her seat, perking up every so often to listen to the babble of the superior parties over there. Naturally Steely would have a plan, she'd never really known the other girl not to. The teen chewed the inside of her cheek a bit nervously as she thought about how they'd manage to work with everyone else. They'd been traveling together for so long, teamwork was easy. And then there were other factors she'd rather not deal with... Oop, time flies. Here they were, landing on Corona. Cerb gathered up Sparky and scrambled down under the chopper blades, taking a moment to shed her scarf and hat and stuff those in her pack before tying her jacket around her waist. Now somewhat cooler and looking remarkably the same as normal, the teen looked about at the rest of the assembled lot, clearly divided on what to do and where to go. "We are so boned," she mumbled to Sparky, who chittered and wiggled his tail. Edited by Cerby, Sep 24 2009, 05:52 PM.

.2 Aris, of course, wasn't wearing shit in the way of fatigues or whatever it was his fellow OME members wore. But, he sure wasn't planning on going to the old folk's home. The only thing he was worried about now was the rapidly-forming beads of sweat on his forehead and the increasing difficultly with which he was drawing breath. He looked over his shoulder, and made sure he was far enough from the helicopter. He gratefully grabbed his zipper, and pulled off the coat. "Ah, the great reveal," he muttered, as the thick jacket landed in a rumpled heap. Several black bags strapped to his arms and chest were visible, dangling on a thinner undercoat. He dug a hand into his pocket, and pulled out a knife. On the coat, a few seams had been split. He slashed them open once more, abut instead of soft white insulation, he pulled out several small blasting caps. He unclipped a backpack strapped snugly to his back, and opened it to its full capacity, and emptied its few contents--three molotov cocktails, gasoline. A classic. Next, an OME rifle, camo suit, and night-vision goggles. He spent several more minutes similarly shedding his undercoat, and thick outer jogging pants. Now, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, he tallied his stock. Two bags of thermite, three magnesium ribbons. A single potassium chlorate plastic explosive. Two acetone peroxide explosives. Three Fertilizer/Hydrazine liquid explosive, each in their own case and with their own pressure-activated blasting caps. Enough resistance to go off when, say, smashing into something. One Calcium Hypochlorite/Brake Fluid Incendiary. Two cans taped together, one of each compound. A removable slit in the side, that when removed, allows them to mix. Aris handled this carefully. He placed them carefully in his pack. It was a snug fit, and he was forced to carry his rifle, but everything was on his person. Now, he looked up. His show was over, and he wondered what sort of, if any, reaction he had entertained. |

I Am The Coolest Person And You Should All Know It
|
[.2 ][05:00:00 ] The alarm clock went off. From under my warm and cozy refuge, I stuck my head out to face the world. One of my drowsy eyelids managed to open to see a blinking screen with the time. It was 0500 hours, three hours from now; I would need to board a helicopter which would take me away to Ashdell for some random exploration of some town known as Black Pass. At this hour, all I wanted to do was just stay in bed and sleep until 1200 hours at the earliest, but I had a responsibility to uphold to. I threw my hand out toward the night stand and slammed it down hard on the shut off switch for the alarm. Dragging my half asleep ass out of bed, I stumbled up to my feet. I turned around for a moment to look at the bed and saw as Pika and Kyra both lay snugly wrapped by their own blankets, with Kyra's tail safely kept out of the bed. Kyra opened one of her eyes and in a groggy state stared at me, obviously not happy over the fact that she had to get up. I motioned for her to ignore it and she curled up a bit more before going back to sleep. With that, I headed toward the bathroom to freshen up a bit. After taking care of nature's calling, and nearly falling asleep on the toilet, I stripped till I was in my birthday suit and in my half asleep state to take a shower. Surely a warm shower at this hour would bring me to my senses, or so I thought. I reached over to the handles on the shower and switched the one on the left on, expecting a warm torrent of water to fall on me waking me up. To my surprise, due in part to my sleepy state, I accidentally turned it on to cold. As you can imagine, my vocabulary at this moment was far from that of a gentleman of my caliber okay so maybe Im not that much of a gentleman but still. Outside, Kyra woke up with a jolt and covered Pikas innocent ears to protect him from my foul language. After a few minutes of suffering under the cold water, I managed to turn the hot water on, thus warming up the water, though at this point I was almost shivering from the cold. Half an hour later, I stepped out of the bathroom with a robe on and a towel hanging off my shoulders. Through the darkness of the room, Kyras blue tinted gaze fell upon me. I knew what it was about. It was about my language a while ago. Sorry I said to my Charmeleon, who replied to me by rolling her eyes to the back of her head obviously angry at me. Yeah, I was expecting that. By this point, Pika was already up and about the room being the little rascal he always was. Deciding to avoid getting my ears yanked by Kyra, I decided to gather my clothes and get dressed in the bathroom. This would hopefully save me from feeling Kyras wrath. A minute later, I stepped out sporting my usual attire of a pair of black jeans, a red t-shirt, boots, gloves and my trademark leather jacket. Recalling Pika and Kyra into their pokeballs, I grabbed my backpack and stepped out toward the mess hall to get some grub for me and my Pokemon before heading off for the mission. [11:00:00] I nearly jumped out of the Helicopter once we landed on the outskirts of Ashdell. Never really been over to this side of Opaddeka, though I cant say theres much of a reason to visit this place. The volcano seemed like the only visible attraction that is if you were looking for fire Pokemon. Before I had a chance to decide what to do, it was decided for me, which is to be expected since this was the military. Kaiz quickly gave out her orders. Stay together and go to the retirement home en masse. Not a bad idea if I do say so myself. At the very least it sounds better than having going in guns blazing into a mess we dont know anything about. It was then that Lt. Colonel Steely voiced her opinion regarding how things should be handled. Personally I was against it, since splitting up is usually how people ended up dying, at least in the movies. Sounds like a plan Lt. General. I said to voice my support for her plan, trying to see if I can get some of the others to stop trying to run the show. Though I did try to sound quite confident a second ago, I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the amount of explosives that Ari had decided to bring along. I sure as heck didnt want to find out what he wanted all those explosives for. With that, I took a step away from my CO thinking that in some way the small amount of distance would save me should his explosives go off which obviously it wasnt. Team and Equipment:

"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"
|
.3 Thank you for posting at last. Well! You hadnt even landed yet and already your two top dogs were shooting daggers at one another so to speak. The tension in the air was nearly palatable. Obviously someone didnt listen very well or she would have heard the Lt. General stating that she only wanted the Lt. Colonels appointed group to go inside the building to begin with. That alone went without saying that the rest of you blokes would be chillin outside. Having the lesser ranked woman reiterate the bosss plan as if the acting leader had suggested the opposite was down right disrespectful. So much for team work. Anyone listening in to the Lt. Colonel might get the impression that there was something more going on between the two women than meets the eye. One could only hope that the two girls could put any personal issues aside for the sake of their team mates. Whoops! Almost jumped ahead of myself there. Wouldnt want to spoil the surprises ahead. Long story short, the Lt. Generals additional information went uncommented upon. No one had stopped to consider why the General himself would fail to announce the mission first as a rescue attempt, rather than a greedy endeavor to secure cash for the government. Perhaps there was still yet information about the situation left unspoken? Hmmm. Its a conspiracy, every last iota. Moving right along, you arrived at the Retirement Home. Your walk through town did not go entirely unnoticed, given all but two of you were wearing your military duds of some variety. You received more than a few curious looks but no civilian interference. For all the locals knew, you were merely a regiment returning home from a tour of duty. The Home was a well groomed little place but seemed devoid of life. No gentle old folks tottered over the lush green lawn or lounged in the vacant rockers on the front porch. Whether this was strange or not really didnt matter. In truth, the lack of life outside the facility merely served to ensure the gaudiest of your group couldnt give away those determined to enter the building without alarming anyone. Having come to a conclusion as to who would enter. Kaiz had trustfully handed the situation over to Steely, and Steely in turn dictated that she and Cerby alone would enter. That means the rest of you grunts get to wait outside, (in this thread), while the dynamic duo enter the building in another thread. <Those of you entering the building, please hop into the Thread labeled Sunny Side Retirement Home now, if you are waiting outside, stay in this thread!> So, one home spun bomber and a handful of army dogs watched from a distance as their cocky companion and her side kick casually entered the building. Those outside must have felt they'd be in for a very long boring wait. The street that the home was located on was quiet and there were few cars or passerby to be had. There was a small park across the road though with several tall pine trees for shade and picnic tables resting underneath. A meandering gravel path wove through the sun dappled green lawn and led to a lovely pond that was man made with a little fountain spouting sparkling water at its center. Glittering Goldeen and Seakings swam in its surprisingly deep waters and begged for balls of bread from school aged children peering into its depths. Brilliantly colored flower beds bordered the walk. There was even a security guard strolling easily along the path, minding his own business and whistling without a care in the world. Your wait could be a comfortable one, at least. Enjoy it while you can and feel free to poke around a bit. |

It's not worth it.
|
0.5 Prosper stood with his arms crossed, watching as the rest of team piled out of the helicopter and gathered into a group. As he waited, he couldn't help but grit his teeth and think back on what Steely had said. No matter what he thought about things, it certainly wasn't his place to completely disrespect his higher-ups in front of the whole squad. How ridiculous was that? The reins for the mission had been handed to Kaiz. To so openly disagree with her orders and act in such a disrespectful manner was downright rude. Prosper glanced around at the others, wondering if they felt the same. Xyla chose this moment to once again escape her ball and pop into the air, hovering gracefully as she glanced around. She blinked a few times and frowned in light of the extreme heat and humid air that bombarded her. Prosper threw a glance her way, understanding the reason for her sudden distaste. The Ashdell region wasn't exactly the optimum place for a mission when decked out in full military garb. It was stifling. "I suppose you heard what was going on in there?" Prosper mouthed in barely a whisper. The Xatu returned a keen gaze as she cocked her head, then finally nodded. It was quite funny, actually, she confessed, smirking. So much bickering amongst what is supposed to be a professional group. Not quite so professional anymore, are we? The trainer shook his head in return, and then glanced back up as Steely and Cerby approached. The first thing out of the Lt. Colonel's mouth was that he would not be coming along with the two of them. Err, what? Apparently, the two of them were the only ones capable of accomplishing this task. Normally, Prosper would have been happy about this, but it seemed as if he was being blamed for not having the foresight to dress accordingly for a mission that she hadn't even bothered to share with him. Xyla cringed as the words were exchanged, knowing that Prosper was going to blow his top off. The young trainer stood, his fists clenched, silently fuming. Who the hell did that woman think she was, anyway? He wanted to let loose a string of profanities most would think unsuitable for his age, but the sergeant decided he wasnt about to lose his cool in front of the rest of the group. Unlike the others, Prosper hoped to retain his dignity and not send the ranking he had achieved straight into the can. So, the group was off. Once the pair had entered the retirement home, Prosper relaxed a bit, for he was glad to be free for awhile. He glanced around, taking in the surprisingly beautiful scenery. It would have made sense for such a harsh environment to produce a rather dreary landscape, but this place was quite the opposite. Perhaps the area around the home had been spruced up for the residents benefit, but all in all, it was still a gorgeous area. Prosper walked on over to the crystal pond and ran a hand through its glassy surface, tickling the gleaming Goldeen as they glided past. |

[ Gen.EXP ] 0.3 --------------------------------------
Spoiler: click to toggle --------------------------------------The first reaction Kaizanu had to Steel was biting back her tongue. Anymore unnecessary bickering would surely mar her appearance, but put Steel in her place, but whatever miff her Lt. Colonel seemed to have, it was her problem. Kaizanu would not stoop to her level. "Alright. Please proceed accordingly and gather information to the best of your ability, Lieutenant Colonel, Corporal." Nodding to them, she let them go. Facing the remaining group, her back turned to the leaving two, and upon closer observation, much to Kaizanu's discontent, Terminus was waving his vicious, tiny claw at Steel while he hung on with the other. "Stop that," Kaizanu said, reaching back and grabbing the lobster/shrimp and holding it on one arm. Patting the fuming anorith, Kaizanu looked to her remaining troops. Not as thinned as she had hoped, but she supposed this would have to work. Throwing the anorith back on her shoulders, Kaizanu stood in a semi-responsible way, with her hands tucked behind her and feet to steady. She saw general discontent among her group, and shook her inner head. This was her fight, and she sure as hell didn't know why, but it was her fight. Kaizanu waved to her troops, giving them a bit of a lax on their reigns. While Floyd wasn't here, she supposed she could run things her way; without abusing her power and keeping a friendly atmosphere. "Don't disperse, just stay around the park - there might be something to be had." Walking passed the rest of her crew, Kaizanu decided she had been attracted by the fountain. Goldeen and Seaking? They were surprisingly hardy, to be living in this otherwise acidic environment, due to the neighboring volcano and what not. For a moment, she thought about releasing Akita to muscle her way into the pond and check it out, but spotting the children, she decided that her rather toothy companion would only serve to gain that security guard's attention. "I need you to play cute, Terminus," Kaizanu said, allowing the tiny shrimp to scuttle his way into the pond - little to no splashing even. He reappeared near the edge, alongside the goldeen and seaking, gesturing at the school children to give him some bread balls too. He clicked his claws as cutely as he could, just to get a crumb. Please? Just look at his adorable stalk-eyes. In the meantime, her fellows could find Kaizanu leaning against a tree, shading herself from the sunny rays. She kept a careful eye all around, seeing if there was anything interesting to be seen, and to be investigated. ------------------------------------------ Summary; Terminus is begging for bread chunks too, and Kaizanu is leaning on a tree nearby, scanning the immediate area. |

.3 Curtis was caught off guard a bit when one of the guys in the group approached him. He recognized the name, this man was his superior for this particular mission. Good, it'd save time having too look for him later. He smiled to the man, and gave off a generic military salute, "Good to finally meet you sir, Hopefully this investigation won't take too long." he said aloud. He really was still uneasy about this whole operation, and he wasn't informed too well... but he guessed that was how the military grunts were. They were just supposed to do as ordered, with no questions asked and no explanations needed. He was a bit put off at the rudeness of Steely to her superior. A total sign of disrespect within the organization that was made obvious, and someone probably had the same opinion as him... that it was totally unnecessary. It just looked unprofessional on her part, and it just made him give a disapproving nod... and that was all. It was not his duty to speak ill about such an action, hell he had to watch his own ass. Shouldn't be required to baby the way everyone else presented themselves. Once they reached around the area of the retirement home Curtis turned to listen to Kaiz for a moment. She said that they could move about the park, but that they shouldn't venture off too far. He wouldn't want to get lost, or even worse become separated with the group. When he entered the park area, he looked around at his surroundings. A pond, a fountain, some goldeen for the pokedex, and children with bread. Oh and there was a single security guard patrolling the grounds... HMMM. Interesting. Maybe this guard would have some knowledge of the Black Pass or even the Mining town! Sure they went into the home to interview seniors, but whose to say they never told their children or grandchildren about the happenings there! So Curits approached the guard calmly(in full Military garb mind you)... "Sir! Sir excuse me." he started off waving his hand in a friendly manner. "I am Private First Class Curtis Michaels, and I was wondering if I could speak with you for a moment. I have a couple questions concerning the Black Pass." He asked pretty straight forward, he didn't want to beat around the bush much. He was a direct person, and just wanted to get down to business. ------------------------------- Curtis entered the park, and is trying to speak with the Security Guard that is patrolling it's grounds. |

.3 And heres why you dont pass up on even the boring preliminary mods folks. I said this was a item find event and that means you have to hunt for the goodies! Boring boring boring was the wait for Steely and Cerby. It was just hot hot hot outside. What could you possible do to pass the time on this all too warm morning in Ashdell? Well a few of you were curious enough to stroll through the pleasant little park that served absolutely no purpose at all. Prosper, kneeling by the quaint pond and admiring those oddly flourishing fish would spy something sparkling in the depths of the cool water. Odd. Reaching down he would grab hold of a single bottle of Fanta Grape Soda. How strange for this to be here. It must belong to someone else, left here to chill in the waters while they waited. No one else was here though, so that meant it now belonged to Prosper. Finders Keepers. Prosper would later discover that this was no ordinary bottle of Fanta. As the real life Fanta was unable to pick an awesome RP item for the event, I thought of a creative little tid bit any one would find extremely useful. This bottle of Fanta is enchanted and comes with directions for use. It will completely restore one Pokemons HP. It can only be used (a.) once per battle, or (b.) once every 7 posts, whichever happens to be more (it has to have time to replenish itself you know). Moving along to Curtis, the boy decided to make nice with the Barney Fife look alike. He looked stricken and his eyes bugged out. Shhhhh! He made an exaggerated motion to hush Curtis. Dont say that name! It upsets folks. Dont you know that? Now you be a good lad and run along and play. Here. He tugged an object out of his pocket and admired it a moment before passing it to him. It was a yellow tinted glass flute. I loved these things when I was a kid. He said, referring to the little instrument. Theyre tons of fun! Handy too. He actually patted Curtis on the head before shoving his hands back into his pockets and strolling away, whistling as he went. That guy couldnt have been all together, he never even registered the military uniform. But at least you got a useful item out of the degrading encounter. Kaiz didnt find a damn thing. However, Terminus was, and Terminus did find something. A bread ball or two was tossed his way by the easily excited children, to the point he earned +2 :happiness. Consequently, all other pokemon that got to interact with the park that I did not mention earns +1 :happiness. Your wait was now over. Across the way, the sound of a door slamming loudly drew your eyes back to the building where Steely and Cerby now stood. It was time to see if they gathered anything you could really use and then you would have one last opportunity to visit the pokecenter and pokemart before leaving town for the pass. <Once the other group exits the building and rejoins this thread, you are free to interact and exchange information. No further mods in this thread are required. Move to the Carmine Mountain thread when you are ready to continue (please though, at least one post by everyone here before skipping ahead). Thanks!> Edited by Maverick, Oct 3 2009, 08:23 AM.

0.5 (Thanks! That's awesome.) The endless stretch of crystalline perfection was broken by one, singular spot. It was an odd, purple blur resting near the bottom of the pond. Prosper stared at it momentarily, trying to discern what it exactly it was, before finally muttering "screw it," and going in after it. He sunk his hand in almost up to his elbow until his fingers finally clutched around the object. The Goldeen scattered, obviously worried about this oddball disturbing their peace, but the trainer was too curious about the thing to worry about them. Having fished it out, Prosper lifted it up and glanced it over. It was a regular old soda can--Fanta, in fact, a brand he had had every once in awhile at home. Grape flavor, in fact! That was one of the best. Still, something about it seemed out of the ordinary. Xyla had wandered over at this point, finished with her exploration of the beautiful ground. Prosper waved her over. "What do you make of this thing?" He asked, throwing a glance her way. The bird bent closer and looked it over, then reeled back a bit. It has some sort of energy in it... like an elixir. And it doesn't seem to end. As she thought, her mind wandered off, as if she was having trouble wrapping her thoughts around the idea. "Eh, might be useful later," Prosper muttered as he stowed the can away in his pack. Once it was gone, Xyla shrugged and tried to forget the thing. Obviously, some things in this world weren't meant to be understood. Now that that was done with, Prosper stood up and wander back closer to the entrance of the facility. The two had been in there for awhile, and it seemed about time for them to return with information. Xyla floated at his side and contented herself with listening to the thoughts of the happy-go-lucky security guard. Every once in awhile she would chuckle, obviously amused with the rather simple thoughts flitting through his head. |

[ Gen.EXP ] 0.3 --------------------------------------
Spoiler: click to toggle --------------------------------------Kaizanu noticed Terminus becoming fat over his bread balls, not to say she didn't like it - he deserved treats. One of the more reliable pokemon in terms of being a watchman, he was definitely a choice to keep with. She whistled a high tune and Terminus's stalk eyes wiggled slightly, causing a bread ball to, instead of being eaten, smack him in the face. "'Norith!" he said, startled. The ball floated in front of him momentarily, before being gulped up by a faster goldeen. Slightly upset, a child, who noticed, threw him a consolation prize and he greedily nibbled at it, jumping out of the pond with his newly acquired treasure, before his friend could have another bite. Eventually arriving to Kaizanu, Terminus scuttled up to her shoulder, hanging over while eating, offering a small piece to his trainer. "No thanks," Kaizanu smiled, patting the overly eager shrimp between the eyes. Her poketch buzzed suddenly, telling her her package was ready to be picked up. "We're going to the Pokemon Center for a moment," she said to Terminus. She began walking, slipping away from her group momentarily, and anyone else who had business at the Center was equally welcomed to come along. Arriving at the Pokemon Center was no great ordeal, but when she made her way to the computer, it was clear she was neither withdrawing more pokemon, nor was changing any out. Her team would remain the same, but the weapons she would be packing would be different. She had been wearing her camouflage suit, her gas mask and nightvision goggles were in her pack, and now, she was receiving the goods she had ordered just before leaving. Oh, were they ever prompt about it. Clipping a ball with a J engraved onto her belt, it looked much like a pokeball, as it occupied the fourth place where her other pokemon might have been. A knife, newly sharpened, found its place strapped to her side, and her two handguns, one a pistol, the other a revolver, were so hidden under her jacket on either side. Slinging her rifle over her shoulder, Kaizanu felt even more official than ever, then she headed for the park. The door slammed suddenly as she made her way back to the park, her Cerberus Group promptly being kicked out of the home and made way towards the direction Kaizanu had just been in, instead of regrouping. That was fine by Kaizanu, so she went ahead to grab the attention of the resting folks. When their attention was gotten, whether by shouting or flailing madly, most likely the former, Kaizanu began, "Let's all head to the edge of town and wait for the Lt. Colonel and Private there. We'll be making our way through the black pass after we are filled in." This was why Kaizanu did not like splitting up - it was hard to keep everyone informed. What the OME needed were radios. Hmm. That was a good idea. "Don't let me forget to suggest radios," Kaizanu whispered to Terminus, who was gnawing his sharp claws, trying to remove the last bread crumbs from his armor. He nodded after a moment, satisfied with his cleanliness, completely ignoring his trainer's remark, only because he didn't hear it. Kaizanu was the first to move, heading south towards the edge of the town. It was there they waited for the aforementioned group, and when they finally rejoined them, Kaizanu said, "Welcome back. We eagerly wait for your report." And here, they waited for them to speak, and after wards, they would move on. [ Movement ] - If anyone is second-guessing their team, you can go to the PC and switch out. Same with buying new items to bring along. - After Steel gives her report, feel free to move onto the next thread, but don't forget to post regardless. |

.2 Cerby is a Corporal, by the way.Steely ambled along behind Cerby as they walked to where the group had gone off to, since they weren't where they had left them. How rude. Either way, she scanned over the city as they walked, looking at the sky above and the birds flying around, mulling over the situation in her head. No matter how she stacked it, it didn't look good. The temptation to tell Kaiz to die in a fire (a very real possibility at this point) and refuse to go was staggering. Misunderstood hatred aside, she valued herself above everyone besides her Pokemon, and maybe Cerby. Alex and Curtis were closely behind her, though. Once the rest of them came in sight, she looked forward again, catching sight of their leader, and stopping dead in her tracks. Steely just barely kept herself from outwardly bristling (which would have given away her trump card), and just glared before marching after, and past her friend to stop at the front of the rest of them. "So..." dislike of her commander aside, she still wasn't sure how exactly to phrase what they'd found out, aside from rattling off what the woman had told them word for word (or as much as Steely could remember, at any rate). She looked helplessly at Cerby for a second before she remembered that she was the leader of this group and she had to do her job. .3 ![]() Apparently the group had moved. Cerb blinked around and eventually spotted them off somewhere else, trotting after Steely to follow, with her little Larvitar jogging at her heels. Delphi was still slinking around behind them, looking rather typically emo for a change. It was almost a little frightening, though the teen wasn't giving it too much thought at the moment. Standing patiently beside Steely, Cerb reached down a little to pat Rajaion while she waited for the whole explanation thing to be over with so they could go. DON'T GO ITS A TRAP YOU'LL ALL DIE IN A FIRE, "Delphi," Cerb squeaked, whipping around to make a grab for the Absol. Delphi skittered out of her reach, prancing around to the side. THERE'S ZOMBIES AND ASHES AND THINGS THAT EAT TRUCKS AND IT'S A BAAAAAAAAD SITUATION, DUDES. "Delphi," Cerb hissed, reaching for her belt to pull off a Pokeball and train it on the Absol. "Quit that before I choke you with your dread plate," IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOOOOOOWN,~ "Now you're just doing that to be annoying," the teen threw the ball, which Delphi managed to somehow deflect with her headblade and send whistling back to almost smack her trainer in the face. Nu - unh, no way you're stuffing me in there. I want to be able to run away WHEN THINGS COME TO EAT US. "Does anybody have a tranq rifle," Cerb mumbled, stuffing the ball away and facepalming rather helplessly. Rajaion bristled a bit, before he stomped over and started snapping his teeth at the Absol again. Delphi meeped and jumped away, chased about by the little Larvitar. "Quick, while she's throughly distracted," Cerb muttered to Steely, making motions that she should begin babbling rather quickly while the teen went to go wrangle her Absol. |

.3 ![]() Steely snapped her mouth shut as the Absol cut across what she was going to say with her screeching, and turned slightly to look back at the Pokemon as she freaked the fuck out. It wasn't Steely's Pokemon, and Cerb was trying to keep control over her, so she simply scratched her head and made a point to not look at the rest of their team and just watch her friend try to control her doomsday machine. Yeah, like they needed to be told that they were heading into a deathtrap. "...um," she tried to collect her thoughts again once Delphi quieted down... or rather, was being chased around by Raj the Larvitar. "What she said, actually. But in a somewhat less cryptic fashion: The mines were set on fire a long time ago by somebody or because of somebody, and it seems like they might still be on fire. So... there's likely a lot of smoke and ash and non-breathable particles in the air that might be a problem. Then there's the possibility of something lurking around there, big enough to eat a truck or at least mangle one pretty bad," she finished, hands up before her, palms facing the sky somewhat helplessly. "Oh, and it seems like the locals are either scared to death of the place or had one of their buddies killed there once," she finished, turning her head to watch Cerby and Delphi to see if she needed to go help. After a second, she made a face and ambled after Cerb to help her wrangle Delphi, looking back over her shoulder at the group to see their responses, finally. "So essentially all of our suspicions are confirmed about this mission. There's a lot more going on here then any of us really know," -- Event!Gexp: 2.8 Edited by Steel Cerberus, Oct 4 2009, 06:37 PM.

[ Gen.EXP ] 0.1 --------------------------------------
Spoiler: click to toggle --------------------------------------Just for future reference: Do not restrict other's right to post, just to abuse the General Experience system. -------------------------------------- Not that it isn't rude to walk off to the Pokemon Center without reporting first, but really, that's okay. First was first: the information they found out was useful. Everyone would need a gas mask, unless they liked suffocating. "Thank you, Lt. Colonel," Kaizanu said after she spoke after the disruptive absol. Turning to address her team, with Akita sitting quietly behind her, Kaizanu looked them over like her often did. It was a habitual thing. "Does everyone have a gas mask? If not, I would like those that don't to head to the Pokemon Center to pick up a set. Also, if you don't have sufficient funds, just put it on my tab," Kaizanu said, letting those who required gas masks to go ahead. It would be necessary supply, and Kaizanu was not sure she wanted to explain to Floyd people coming back with lung cancer. [ EDIT: For those who are Sergeant and Under, the Mask will simply be Event Only, and you don't have to "buy" it. ] Kaizanu turned to Akita and glanced at Terminus as he flopped onto one of her shoulders. "For pokemon who must be out, I suggest moistening a strip of cloth to use as a filter." Kaizanu withdrew Terminus, knowing he would not survive long in the dense smoke particles and demonstrated what she meant by asking Akita to give up her Muscle Band. The feraligatr, using a weakened water gun, she dampened the band until it was to standard. Tying it around her snout, mostly around her nose, she appeared like a bandit, but this would act like a filter so she could breathe in the volcanic ash - hopefully. After demonstrating, the band found itself back on the feraligatr's arm. And now, Kaizanu was thinking about that truck mangling creature. What could they do to counter that? Nothing, really. Have strong pokemon - that was one. "Make sure you have a team you can trust with your life," Kaizanu said after a while, having thought about it. "After all, if you can't trust your team, you can't trust anyone." More of an impulse than anything, Kaizanu gave a glance to Steel. She wanted to be able to trust all of her military unit, but if she continued to get a death glare, she wasn't sure if she wanted the other on the detail. What she sought with this momentary glance was a treaty: whatever Steel had a problem with, she might as well put it away, Kaizanu was not going to play her game. .1 ![]() With the Absol tamed for the moment, Steely really felt no reason to stick around here, and neither did Cerby. So they started off in the direction that they were supposed to go. Something tingled up her spine as she started to walk away, though, and she looked over her shoulder blankly at Kaiz. ...a few seconds of blank staring, as if two forces in her head were yelling at each other for a second. I Am The Coolest Person And You Should All Know It
|
[.1 ] For some reason, I seemed to have dozed off while staring around the immediate area of the retirement home. Everyone had already left by the time the order to gather information was actually registered by my brain. I seriously had to stop doing that, it could get me killed sooner or later. Some of the others had gone to the nearby park, while others had gone into the Retirement home to gather information. Relatively speaking neither seemed a bright idea in my book. I already knew that this was some kind of horror movie where we were all going to die horribly painful deaths if were lucky, so no amount of information gathering was gonna change that. Still, an order is an order, and since no one said not to go the Pokemon Center and gather info, I decided it was the best course of action. I marched toward the Pokemon Center and entered the building. A few minutes later, I came out with my new Machete firmly latched to my shoulder. Considering that this was now a rescue mission, I felt that this versatile tool could come in handy. Never know when you might need to cut through something or defend yourself. But more importantly, I found out that no one knew much about the area in question. Feeling a little disappointed in my failure to gather information, I headed back toward the park where the rest of the team was located. Once I arrived, I witnessed as Steely and Cerb began to address the rest of the team. Luckily for me, I managed to catch the full report, or rather the parts that weren't interrupted by Cerb's over active Absol. Frankly the thing looked like it was scared by whatever it had heard. This only served to further prove the fact that we were all going to die horrible painful deaths. It was only Steely's final words that changed my mind about the fact that we were going to die. Now weren't going to meet our gruesome deaths... no... now were were going to meet our gruesome deaths while we get our asses barbecued... Great, what else can go wrong on this mission? Feeling that the gruesome news were too great to bear... or maybe not so much... I decided to lighten the mood a little. I mean, seriously, we needed the confidence boost by this point in the game. "Not to sound too disrespectful here but, even I could've told you that. Seriously guys, this is the classic horror movie set up. Sending a group of soldiers to deal with some bizarre situation, which will most likely result in our deaths. Even a noobie can see where this is heading." I said in a worry free tone. "The only thing I found informative from your report was the fact that now I'm looking forward to a death by barbecue." I let out a sigh, obviously a little upset over the fact that I had to actually go up the mountain and go through with the mission. Still, not much that can be done at this point. "Oh well, it looks like we have little choice but to get this over with." By the time I managed to notice, Steely had already left. This meant that my comment was all for naught. I hate it when people do that, really I do. Still, the Lt. General gave an order that I was sure to follow. No way I was going to get lung cancer at my age. Though thankfully I had gotten enough masks for my Pokemon to wear. Now I would only need one for myself. "Understood ma'am!" I replied to the Lt. General while giving a small salute. With that out of the way I headed back to the Pokemon Center to obtain a gas mask before heading out to the border of town to reunite with the rest of the team. Restocked and left thread! (0.1 if applicable. lolpost just to say I'm still alive.)Alex boggled at the freaked-out Absol, and nodded at all the briefing that was going on, picking up a gas mask for himself. Guru stayed out, and armed himself with one of those makeshift filters. Team: "Guru" - holding makeshift filter, I guess. Scope Lens if the filter doesn't count as a hold item. "Enigma" - holding Metal Coat "Flux" - holding Leftovers

.1 Aris was there, and you wouldn't say he cared. There was fire? Smoke? A c-c-cave? Ooh, scary. Angel pointed out the clear horror-movie motif, and though his voice was clear, Aris had an inkling that he wasn't quite so stoic under the surface. He was the girl screaming in the movie theater, the one that can't look at the screen. The others quickly dispersed, the sojourn in the city was over. Off everyone went towards the Carmine Mountains. Aris tiredly trodded after, his precious cargo handy at his back. Edited by Fordy, Oct 9 2009, 05:46 PM.

"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"

.1 Ok, Times up! Thank you everyone who bothered to make an exit post for me. Now the fun begins and I can start picking on you slackerslegit excuses or no, not posting opens you up to a little ribbing. So here goes! One by one the group accepted the report and loaded up for the trip into the carmine mountains. One man remained. Curtis stood on the little meandering walk, day dreaming and hadnt noticed the others leaving him behind. Perhaps the security guard not taking him seriously was playing on his nerves, perhaps the lovely day simply had him distracted. Either way, the group left him behind. Alone and without the safety of a group, the teen was vulnerable, even in this seemingly safe park right out side a comfortable retirement home. Slowly, as the park was vacated, so did the security of other human beings. A shadow stirred behind the trees. Something that shouldnt have been watched and waited. Curt never saw his stalker, not with his back turned to it and day dreaming as he was. The humanoid shape was neither here nor there. It was a living shadow that writhed and squirmed, its matter turning in on itself as a constant wave of rolling undefined flesh. Two glistening arms of slippery wet matter poised like cobras about his un-attentive form. In a flash they slapped shut about his neck and face, smothering his suddenly animated struggling body. His muffled cries were heard by no one. Curtis flailed, but all for not. Starved of oxygen and choking on the faceless things rancid flesh, stars winked in and out before his eyes as they glazed over. Darkness loomed at the corner of his vision, chasing a red haze. He body slumped against the insubstantial thing. The murder of Curtis Micheals, Private First Class, had gone completely unnoticed. ![]() Curtis respawns at the back of the group in a very Haloesk fashion, He's somewhat dazed and confused. Hadnt he just been in Ashdell? He has no recollection of having traveled to the mountains and no one seems to have paid enough attention to notice if he had been with them. The point is, he was there now. He remembers nothing of his death but I wouldn't be surprised if he now has an unexplainable fear of being strangled from behind by the boogieman. At the bottom of the screenwhere once there may have been three little depictions of three little men, now there stood only two. Corny, but true and now you guys have until 10/13 to post in the Carmine Mountain thread so I can get you moving again. |
