Not long to go now. Once Alex left Moodfelt, there were only two towns left on his trans-continental voyage. He'd been on the road so long, he'd almost forgotten why he'd done it in the first place.

But as a diversion, he checked out his PC and officially picked up the Lapras he'd adopted. After finding a decently-sized patch of ground, he sent out the new water pokémon to give her an official welcome.

"Hi there. My name's Alex. Welcome to the team."

The trainer produced a Watmel berry from his stash for the young Lapras, who nommed it contentedly. Having a sweet berry as part of an official welcome package was never a bad thing.

"What do you think of the name Aurora?"

The Lapras tilted her head, considering the name, then nodded.

"Great. Welcome aboard, Aurora."

They stayed for a few minutes, gettin used to each other's company, then Alex recalled Aurora and put her back into storage. She'd make another appearance once he got to the ocean.

Nothing else to do, so on he went. Next stop, Bloodaisy.
