Alright guys so we're gonna give this a go.

Getting modded is a hassle. Everyone knows this. Mods only notice Hillmoss and certain other threads, bugging them in chat is a painful experience and what if you're never in there and yadda yadda. Your only choice is to wait two days and then post in the Forgotten Threads.

This is gonna be kinda like that, but immediate and hopefully easier on the mods.

Everyone is going to make a topic, right now. The title will be your username. Inside, link to your current thread. Make sure the link looks like this: http://s10.zetaboards.com/Pokemon_Legacy_RPG/topic/numbers/1/#new.

Now, wait for the next time you post in your thread. Now, you need modded. Head to this thread, and bump it however you'd like. Add in the title, before your name, (M).

Hopefully you can see it now. Immediately, a mod will know you need modded. It should simplify and speed-up the modding process, by making a one-stop-shop for mods.

Mods, whenever you mod someone, just take the (M) out of the title.

So hey, let's give it a whirl. I'm fully aware that this could serve only to complicate things, but hey, why not?

If you find any problems, just respond to this topic.

And now some notes for mods and everyone.

- Chain-modding. If you're doing it, don't clutter up the forum by posting a million times. As a rule, you should wait just a little before bumping in case someone is about to mod you. Also, for those who can, use the bump function instead of posting.

- Feel free, still, to ask for mods in chat. Mods, don't feel discouraged from modding those people that ask, even if they're not next on the list.

- Mods, when looking for someone to mod (cuz that's what you should be doing), start from the bottom up. Common sense.

- COMBO THREADS. If you're in one of these, both or whatever of you should make your own threads like normal. It's a topic per person. One of you can be designated and you'll all use that persons as the thread.

To be updated as problems come up.

A reference in the sub title posting the date of their last post would be nice so we can tell how long they've been sitting idle.

Once everyone is in here and has been modded once, it'll be in order.

It's not worth it.
Problem: Mod A chooses the person on the bottom of the list to mod. Once completed, they remove the M. However, the topic does not get bumped. The player posts, then they add the M back again. And they're still on the bottom of the list. So, when Mod B comes along and decides to mod the person on the bottom few, they mod these same people again... and those stuck somewhere in the middle are left stranded.

Perhaps I'm seeing things wrong, but, yeah.

EDIT: Or maybe that's what Mav was trying to remedy... gah, whatever, ignore me.

Reply, bump if you're a mod. Haven't found a way to let normal members bump...

I know the IF & ZB ACPs quite well... there isn't a way to give them that ability. A coder might be able to code something to allow it, but I don't personally know one willing to help Legacy. What I CAN suggest is to go to the "Add a mod" section, and add the entire (You can add entire groups at once by using the group option) Members group as mods to this one forum. Of course, that would call for keeping a close eye on this area for members messing with it. However, a bonus to that is that it would NOT change the group that a member is in to "Mod". It would just give them the mod capabilities (Namely, Bump) in this one forum. You can also go to the actual ZB forum and post a request asking for someone to create the code needed to give members the bump option.
