And still, Alex continued on.

Now in the flattened expanses of the Moorfeldt grasslands, the trainer was able to keep much better track of his two young pokémon. Sturz and the Eevee were still frolicking around with each other, happy to play in the grass. Guru, still tending to the berries, flanked Alex, and occasionally scanned the area for hidden life signs.

Which, seeing as the entire area was flat and trampled down, was quite unlikely. Chances were that Alex would see anything wild that crossed his path. Well, unless they snuck up from behind, but that was part of the reason he had the Alakazam keep watch.

Anyway. Moorfeldt, up ahead, according to the maps. That was where the party was headed.

And so you romped on through this new territory you've reached. It looked as if nothing could really hide from anything in an environment like this, however you were a bit wrong in this thought. There were several types of pokemon that could still hide here... well in truth only a select few, and you had a bit of a bad luck. As you continued moving forward, your foot hit something. It gave out a large shriek and plopped out of the soil it was hiding in. You had stepped on an Oddish... by accident of course, but this pokemon wasn't going to have any of that apologizing non-sense. Oh no, this was a brave little Oddish.

With that it shrieked a few more times, some sort of alert call more than likely. Only moments after this, what looked to be several patches of tall grass turned out to be several pokemon. Now you had an agitated group of Oddish on your hands and in your way.. not to mention these were stubborn little buggers. Grouping up and making all sorts of oddishly growling noises, if such a sound even exists... but for the sake of this post... IT DOES.

What to do, what to do.

Watch out for the-

*shriek*

...Oddish.

Sigh. Now Alex had an angry Oddish on his hands. Not a great problem, he'd just get Guru to smack it up a bit.

That'll work. What about the other two?

Sure enough, two more Oddish had popped up from nowhere, and were readying themselves for a fight. Guru could take one more, but for the last one, Alex sent out Enigma for added insurance. Best to incapacitate the plants before they tried shooting off any spores. That would just complicate things further.

Psychic attacks all round, you two. Let's try and make this quick. Having two psychic pokémon allowed Alex to give mental instructions. Just in case.

As you were readying your Pokemon, and giving them their orders, the male oddish in the back hopped out in front. "Charge My Leafy Comrades!" with that it and the other two oddish pushed forwards in your direction. However before they could even use their Spore/Powder abilities something happened. They were mentally slapped around by your two Pokemon. And after only taking about four or five good steps, plopped back down onto the ground knocked out. A predictable victory for your Pokemon.

Nothing else really out of the ordinary, it would probably be best to get moving on again wouldn't it?

And no harm done. At least, not to any of the party.

With the Oddish threat gone, all that remained was to walk to Moorfeldt. Enigma stayed out with Alex, both to spend some more time outside and to ensure that nothing else bothered them in the grasslands. Guru went back on berry duty, tending to the plant and making sure the fruit ripened nicely.

Not much else to report, so on with the walking.

Well, with an Alakazam and Metang out, no wild Pokemon wanted to mess with you guys. This seems to be a trend with you, isn't it?

Well when you have huge mean nasty looking Pokemon out, can you blame the wild critters? I certainly can't.

That, and with the trampled grass, it was easy to see you and yours coming, so anything that may have been out in the open dove for cover when they saw you coming in the distance. That'd explain all those blurs you sat just out of your range of vision, I suppose. Or something.

But, there, Moorfeldt! And nothing between you and it! So you were free and clear to go into town.
