"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"
Current Location: Unclearable Fog Marsh 2
Destination: Unknown
Objective 1: Locate the Fog Clear Holy Mechanism
Objective 2: Happiness for Pookie
Other: Ponyta Egg 10/25
Team: Pookie (Eevee :fl Lvl 30) :hp 90 | Lex (Yanmega) :fl Lvl 34 :hp 136 | Helsing (Kadabra) :ml Lvl 30 :hp 90 | Hawkeye (Feraligatr) :ml Lvl 31 :hp 124 | Kaen (Arcanine) :ml Lvl 20 :hp 80

Floyd stood in the marshy fields just outside of the Misthenge Village. His muscles were stiff and aching but it was good to be up and moving again. The light armored vest of his OME camo hung open, unzipped to give air to the thick scabs of the five diagonal wounds hed inflicted on himself back at the Loch. The burns that splattered his left arm were mostly tight tender scar tissue now the only remnant of the burning inflicted on him by the strange Man from Scene 24 back in Halcyon forest. Jagged gashes swept across his right hip up toward his left shoulder on both his front and back. These too were mending thick with scar tissue and scabs and acted as a constant irritating reminder of his foolhardy effort to win the monster Neerueys approval. She had very nearly eaten him and had it not been for her desire to savor her meal and thus keep him alive while she searched for the ideal place to bash his body upon the rocks, he would be sleeping in the belly of the beast rather than standing in the mist. As it were, she HAD paused, and thus given him time to shoot her in the back of the throat, coaxing her into a gag reflex that spat him out. Only through the talents of his and Bens pokemon had they obtained the pieces of her horn.

Floyd would not let himself be lured into such foolishness again. He was too close to his goal. Helsing, the Kadabra nodded his silent approval beside him. It had been he, his magnificent IQ, and talented hands who had saved the Scavian from internal bleeding and certain death. Well, perhaps Pookie had helped. The little Eevee had grown significantly since her hatching and it was she and her silly antics who had kept the bedridden alien in good spirits. Pookie was draped over Floyds shoulder, half in and half out of his pack. He pink blanket was tied about her neck like a cape and fluttered with each of Floyds heavy steps. Her Soothe Bell tinkled softly, breaking the solemn silence of the valley.

Floyd adjusted his stance and yanked the long staff of the axe out of the wet ground. He was using it for support and imagined it would take awhile to get his strength back. Helsing had hardly let him lift a finger in weeks and as such, his muscles had paid the price. Floyd had reheated the axe blade when he was finally allowed out of bed and carefully worked the dent from its edge, and then re-honed its crescent blades until it was once again useful. He didnt need the medieval weapon, but he was too used to its familiar weight in his hands to leave it behind now. Frankly, the Kadabra welded it better than he did.

Which direction? He asked quietly of Helsing while he reviewed the yellow scan of the riddle parchment loaded on his Pokenav.

In the wettest marsh, in a pool of steam
The ghost of mist and fog is seen
Attacks will go right through, or miss
But all it wants is just-- (the parchment was torn here and cannot be read)

Murmur Valley was certainly the wettest marsh he knew, and so he imagined himself to be in the correct place. But one could wander the region for weeks and never find what they were looking for. How he expected to find one particular pool of water in an area that contained hundreds of such flooded sinkholes was beyond him. Helsing, meanwhile, kept quiet, he didnt know which direction to go any more than his trainer. When at last he spoke his suggestion was as good as any.

Perhaps we should just start walking. I can ask the locals if they know of any such creature, and it is likely to be a creature that is not a pokemon and resides in one of the pools. Helsing held his foxish head high and flicked a gnat from one of his tall pointed ears indignantly.

Floyd merely nodded. It was their only choice. The hand not clutching the axe reached back and scratched Pookies head. She batted his hand with a tiny paw and warbled in his ear, then inched on her belly closer to his neck. The comforting sound of her little bell helped him to relax as much as it did her. Looking back at Helsing he found the psychic pokemon tugging at his whiskers thoughtfully, his black eyes held a distant and searching look. No doubt he was keeping his mind open to nearby pokemon, searching for those of friendly and helpful disposition.

Alrighty then. Floyd breathed wearily.

There wasnt much else to say. They would find the pool or they wouldnt. The real question on everyones mind was, if they didnt find it, how long would Floyd go before giving up. Helsing knew the answer. Floyd was stupid enough to drag them through the muck forever if it meant getting his ship off the ground again. Pookie snarled playfully in Floyds ear, oblivious to the dark predicament.

The mist was thick and constricting, your wounds, diverting. The hammer was heavy and your survival recently in doubt. My, it was very hard to concentrate of the swirling fog shifting around you. Even without these many distractions, it was certainly going to be hard to pick out an individual "pool of steam", and someone divine the spectre hidden there. And hell, who knows if you were even in the right spot? You could wander for days and find nothing.

That certainly seemed to be the case so far. Wandering and wandering you went, but you had yet to find even one of these steam pools. Well, you certainly had time to look.

.3 Thank you 45.

Current Location: Unclearable Fog Marsh 2
Destination: Sinklands 2
Objective 1: Locate the Fog Clear Holy Mechanism
Objective 2: Happiness for Pookie
Other: Ponyta Egg 11/25
Team: Pookie (Eevee :fl Lvl 30) :hp 90 | Lex (Yanmega) :fl Lvl 34 :hp 136 | Helsing (Kadabra) :ml Lvl 30 :hp 90 | Hawkeye (Feraligatr) :ml Lvl 31 :hp 124 | Kaen (Arcanine) :ml Lvl 20 :hp 80

The first day passed by and night fell. The alien was sore from his first day of tenuous journey after such a long period of stagnant healing. Picking slowly and carefully over a white landscape reminded him fervently of just how much healing he still had yet to go. Repeatedly, hed used the long handle of the axe to poke and prod the soft ground he could scarcely see. Mud caked his feet up to his knees and his clothes hung in heavy damp folds. Even Helsing had resorted to using kinesis to levitate himself above the cold wet muck. And as the sun fell, the dwindling of daylight was made known only by the graying of the curtain of mist that surrounded them. Soon it would be dark and he would be forced to stop for the night and wait till morning. Pookie yawned in his ear and bit at the boney thorns on the back of his jaws to remind him she had been entirely too bored. Helsing too was disappointed. He hadnt found a single sign of thinking life suitable to interrogate. In spite of the lack of luck, Floyd was optimistic enough to believe that he if systematically searched the entire marsh with the aid of his pokenav. A grid was started and each day eliminated another tiny acre or so of land that Floyd and Helsing walked carefully back and forth over; Floyd staring at the nav screen for directions and Helsing studying the few feet of ground that they could see.

Thus began a long pattern in the final quest to repair Floyds ship. Each night he would make camp in the wet marsh and slept on the sodden ground. Pookie slept safe and dry in her pokball and Helsing dozed in his levitating state. Each morning, just as the faintest glow illuminated their hazy environment, Floyd would wake from a restless and miserable sleep. He was wet and muddy and unable to summon his ship for a proper bath. The ship would sink like a rock in the mud; a hazard he did not want to deal with. So day after day he became steadily more irritable and filthy. Not even Pookie and her constantly cheery attitude could lift his spirit. She opted to played with her puppy toys inside Floyds pack. Anything was more interesting that the sea of white they wondered through.

I think we should move on. Helsing despaired one day. All this while, the trio had only been on the outskirts of town. Floyd nodded gravely. Per his poknav, they had trekked back and forth across the marshy hill next to Misthenge and he hadnt come across a single sink hole. Perhaps they would have better luck if they moved onto the Sinklands.

Alright, well start just southwest of the marsh in the southern most area of the known sinklands and work our way north. He growled. Pookie yipped cheerily, happy to finally have a change of pace. She was disappointed to find that traveling to another area did not mean anything new. She could still see only fog and swirling mist and once again retreated to the pack.

((Uninspired Im afraid, but I was finally able to start the floor mat project at work and thats where my mind is tonight. My first ever project! They found me a ship I could take some splashes from and find the missing dimensions I needed. YEEE! I get to design something. Anywho, Floyd is now heading towards the next area, Sinklands 2, after spending days picking over the uninteresting area beside the town.))

After oh so many long and fruitless days, it you decided that it was best to move on. You ventured away, headed west, and soon found yourself in a much wetter part of Murmur Valley. The ground was squishy and soft, and you didn't dare sit too long in one place. It felt too unstable, like it might collapse, swallowing you up and trapping you inside.

So, you kept moving. Round and round you went, seeing all parts of the Sinklands. But no matter where you went, there wasn't anything in the way of a sinkhole. The entire place seemed to be one, if that was any consolation.

Nope, you didn't find anything.

Team: Pookie (Eevee :fl Lvl 30) :hp 90 | Lex (Yanmega) :fl Lvl 34 :hp 136 | Helsing (Kadabra) :ml Lvl 30 :hp 90 | Hawkeye (Feraligatr) :ml Lvl 31 :hp 124 | Kaen (Arcanine) :ml Lvl 20 :hp 80

Scavian and Kadabra journeyed deeper into the marsh than they had ever dared before. In the grueling stretch of days, each indistinguishable from the other, Floyd began to lose track of time. Sure, his nav replied helpfully that it was noon or dusk whenever he thought to ask, but the landscape always looked the same white and suffocating, damp and close. Without his companions Floyd would have been muttering madly to himself. As it was, claustrophobia was only beginning to set in, and the wild fears that he might never find whatever mystical creature held the secret of the defogging HM. He began bombarding Helsing at random with repetitive questions.

See anything? He would ask suddenly.

No more than you. Helsing would drearily reply.

A surprisingly short duration of time would pass that to Floyd felt like an eternity and again he would ask. Helsing was patient, in spite of the increasing nuisance of Floyds pestering. He could hear Floyds thoughts like a radio tuned to the most boring talk show he could find and the alien tended to argue with himself quite a lot. Most times though, Floyd would simply be thinking to himself, his inner monologue spoken in Scavian, that he just had to keep moving and eventually he would have combed every last square foot of the marsh, a magnificent accomplishment in itself. So of course if there was any truth to the riddle, he would find at least one pool of steam, and hopefully, one critter that couldnt possibly be a pokemon.

Hear anything? Floyd muttered quietly and briefly Helsing wondered if the alien was actually talking to him.

No. Nothing. Sighed the Kadabra. That in itself was nerve wracking. There should have been at least one creature out in the marshes to talk to.

Im Booored! Whined Pookie. The little dog was restricted to Floyds shoulder and was becoming increasingly annoyed with the entire charade. Day after day of tromping through mud and not being able to see three feet in front of ones face was not her idea of exciting. Of course, Floyd could not understand her, but hed spent enough time with her to be able to read her body language almost as clearly as hearing her speak. At that moment she was stamping her front little feet into his sore shoulders and making a funny warbling noise deep in her throat. She took the boney protrusion that grew like thorns from the back of her jaws in her little mouth and gnawed and growled until Floyd could not ignore her any longer.

Im sorry youre not having fun, Pook. Floyd sighed as he plucked the pup from his shoulder and cuddled her. She whined pitifully and gave him the sad puppy dog eyes and her bottom lip quivered. This cant be fair to you, being your first time out and all. She sneezed in his face, clearly agreeing.

We should keep moving, Floyd. The largest area of the marsh is still ahead. Thats a lot of ground to cover. Helsing interrupted.

I know. I just wish Pookie wasnt confined to my pack all the time. She doesnt have anything to do. Pookie bobbed her here in agreement. Her bell tinkled softly with the movement.

Well, this isnt exactly the thrill of my life either. At least she can stay dry in your pack! Helsing snapped sharply.

Im sorry, Helsing. You can stay in your pokball if you want. Floyd mumbled, feeling as if their lack of success was his fault. Ill let you out when I finally find the pool.

Dont you mean IF you find the pool? Hissed the psychic.

No. No I mean WHEN. Floyd took one stalking step toward his friend. I dont care if I stomp all over the damn marsh and dont find a bloody thing. Ill go onto the next marshand the next until I DO find it. He glared feverishly at Helsing and waited for another retort, but Helsing held his tongue. There would be no convincing Floyd of turning back.

Pookie had found the argument slightly amusing, but only because it was the most interesting thing to happen to them since leaving town. Floyd spun about with her in his arms and resumed analyzing the ground beneath his feat and nav in his hand. Not easy task given he was stick gripping the axe like a walking staff and now juggling Pookie. Helsing through up his claws and stomped after him.

Here! Give me Pookie. Ill carry her for awhile. Floyd hesitated before handing over his precious cargo and then burst into a fit of laughter as Helsing caught her in there air with his Kinesis, making it seem as if the tiny caped dog was flying. This, Pookie truly did enjoy, and her little feet kicked the air as if she were swimming. He pink blanket/cape flapping in the wind and bell jingling, she could not resist a wolfish grin with her tongue lolled out.

With Pookie occupied, at least for the time being, Floyd resumed his search, slowly making his way to the next area on his grid.

Cranky companions at your side, our trek shifted back westward after having exhausted all of the sinkholes, which had looked like your best bet. Your hopes were still alive, though, and you anxiously moved on to the next area.

But again, you were frustrated. Through all your searching, you again found yourself fruitless. Nothing even looking like the steam pit you needed.

Oh well.

But, there was a guy around here wanting a word with you. Fun times?

((Adding the 1 happy point to Pookie per chat with 45, and now that I know what 45 is up too, which is stalling, Im ok with joining up with Aris after this quest and the immediately following free-form are complete. I would like this task over and done with so I can concentrate on other pressing matters both behind the scenes here and at work. Ive promised Steely the Fly quest and Tenchi an OME mission, I have to finish the OME event, and Steely and Cerb want to do a mission together. So much to do and the sooner this Floyd problem is taken care of the better. So, after this quest, up with the free-form and Ill be happy to do some happy casual non rush rush Rping with you 45.))

Floyd did not see Ariss ship as it drifted quietly overhead in the mists. Even if he hadnt been concentrating so hard on the ground, looking up would have shown only mist. The only one capable of knowing about Ariss presence was Helsing and Kadabra wasnt about to tell Floyd. The psychic had decided that if the alien wanted to wander forever the muck, he could. So, unknowing of his fellow OME member drifting close by, and who actually wanted to speak with him, Floyd kept stomping along through the mud, and Helsing kept entertaining Pookie with his Kenisis.

((Sorry this post sucked but I had no idea what you were up till, yeah. Idiot moment for me. Sorry))

And, oh, something interesting!

A Pokemon, likely drawn in by the probing psychic signal, had approached. It was a Yanma, thin wings smacking away at the moist air. It seemed quite adapted to its environment, and approached you with very definite moves.

"Stop it!" it screeched inside its head. I guess it wasn't quite as accepting as you had assumed.

Floyd steadily stomped onward, his sights on the nav in hand and the axe handle in the other. The staff sank into the sodden ground with each step and he would tug it back out only to stab the ground ahead of him yet again. As the days in the marsh had passed, his lost strength was slowly returning. His muscle, though sore, were no longer burning from the pain of disuse. The rhythm of moving day in and day out, no matter how monotonous his task, was fair exercise.

The alien heard the insect long before he saw it, and found himself trying to remember when he had last let Lex out of her pokeball. By the time he was quite sure his Yanmega was still hidden away, he could see the shadowy figure hovering in the mist. He wheeled about to face Helsing, who was now carrying Pookie. The two pokemon looked at him curiously, but knew enough to stay quiet.

It was roused by my searching Explained the Kadabra in response to the Scavian confused expression. This was the very first pokemon they had seen since starting abroad the marsh. I doubt it will cooperate. My meddling seems to have aggravated it. If you want information, you will have to take it by force, Im afraid.

Floyd was more startled that Helsing had suggested resorting to coercion than he was by the sudden appearance of the bug. He shrugged and rounded on the approaching dragon fly, holding his axe out and ready.

You there! He called suspiciously. Were looking for a creature said to live in the marsh. Not a pokemon, not a human either. We only want information, not a fight. He thought for a moment, hoping to appease the riled insect. A favor for a favor, if youre interested. If you have information, perhaps we can help you in turn.

Floyd, I dont think its Helsing began but Floyds hissed thoughts shouted back at him.

Dont think. Do. Take what we need, if it has anything to give. And then he added. Ill handle the rest.

How Floyd intended on handling this bug was left to be seen but since it was Helsings idea, he had no problem asking the psychic to take the information they needed. It was a cruel tactic, but they were desperate, each in his own way. Floyd wanted that holy mechanism so bad he could taste it, and Helsing just wanted to be clean and somewhere civilized. So, the Kadabra reluctantly obliged himself to breaking down the insects defenses. In sum, he used Psychic.

((Floyds trying to distract it while Helsing mind rapes it, for lack of a better term. Hes raking its mind to see if it has knowledge of the mystical thing said to live in a pool.))

The Yanma spluttered, surprised, in mid-air as you rounded on it, axe just itching to slice through its tough exoskeleton. It got the message across very quickly--don't fuck with us, do what we want and I won't chop you in half.

"Um, uh, not... human or... ooooh!" it squeezed out, voice vibrating from the force of keeping itself aloft, and fright. It shouted as your Kadabra dove into its mind.

Helsing ran a quick once-over of the Yanma's mind. This particular bug was quite the traveler. It had been all over the misty swamps of Murmur Valley... but no ghosts. Not even a hole that matched the description.

Well.

Nothing. Theres nothing here. Snapped Helsing. His foxish ears were laid back against skull and his whiskers twitched.

Floyd could only gape in wonder. He was torn between throwing a Scavian sized hissy fit and dropping to his knees in the mud and crying. He really had been dragging them on a wild good chase. Now, ignoring the Yanma entirely, he looked at the map in his hand and zoomed back out. There were two more marshes located in Opaddeka but neither would have been his first choice as a likely location for the HM. One was a jungle, steamy but containing only a small marsh. The other was Muskeg, across the oceanic sound.

He zoomed in on this area and noticed one water logged section of land referred to as the Ignis Fatties. It was an unfamiliar word and he did what anyone with a small vocabulary would do he searched the web. While he did not find an exact match, he found an alternate spelling that referred to a Will-o-wisp type creature, or light seen over the water and a type of ghost.

Mother F-----! He shouted so abruptly that Pookies ears shot straight up and she yapped at him sharply. He turned and blushed, embarrassed at his outburst. Sorry Pook. He sighed. Were in the wrong swamp. If Id done some more research instead of assuming this was the one we could have saved some time.

Helsing remained quiet. He didnt trust himself to speak to the alien just yet. Floyd had been torturing them with the damp filthy place for nothing.

Thanks for the info Yanma. Floyd muttered shame faced. Sorry weve bothered you. Come on Helsing. Back to Misthenge.

And how do you expect to cross the waters? Said Helsing at last as they turned their back on the bug and headed east.

I dont know, maybe Bill is up for the swim. I just want to get out of here. The Scavian grouched back. He started to stomp away and then stomped and turned on the Kadabra. Ill carry Pookie And without waiting for a reply he plucked the little dog from Helsings arms and cuddled her. The Eevees friendly licks to his chin were a small respite to his injured pride.

All of a sudden, a rope ladder crashed to the marshy ground beside you, and you could hear the strain of rope and wood as someone descended at your side.

"Geez! Keep it down, hurt my ears all the way up there!" shouted Aris, hanging off the ladder. "So, you need to get to Muskeg? I think I could help."

He reached up over his head, and tossed something into your arms.

"Here's your book. Would you like a ride?"

Current Location: Unclearable Fog Marsh 1 (Traveling with Aris on his wonderful flying boat)
Destination: Sinklands 2
Objective 1: Locate the Fog Clear Holy Mechanism
Objective 2: Happiness for Pookie
Other: Ponyta Egg 16/25
Team: Pookie (Eevee :fl Lvl 30) :hp 90 | Lex (Yanmega) :fl Lvl 34 :hp 136 | Helsing (Kadabra) :ml Lvl 30 :hp 90 | Hawkeye (Feraligatr) :ml Lvl 31 :hp 124 | Kaen (Arcanine) :ml Lvl 20 :hp 80

Shocked was an understatement. Floyd was so startled by the humans abrupt appearance from out of the fog that he leapt backward, slipped and landed in the mud. His axe went flying and Pookie squalled, clawing his face for purchase to keep from touching the nasty ground. The Scavian lay sprawled across the reedy field on his back, staring up at his subordinate as if he were a ghost. Helsing stood off to the side, avoiding looking at his trainer and blushing furiously. Hed known Aris was floating nearby and purposely chosen not to say a word. Floyds reaction to Ariss surprise visit was too good for words and for just a moment he thought this awful trip might have been worth it. And then the human chucked a book at the fallen alien. It landed in his lap as he sat up and peeled Pookie off of his face.

Aris? Floyd cleared his throat awkwardly, realizing what he currently looked like. Uhthanks for returning the book. Yeah. A lift to Muskeg would be great. In spite of how happy he was that an answer to his predicament had literally climbed right out of the sky, he couldnt keep the growl from his throat. Hed thoroughly made a fool of himself in front of the human. He looked at his Kadabra to avoid meeting Ariss gaze and that was when he realized Helsing was keeping suspiciously quiet.

Helsing?! Floyd admonished. You knew. He hissed through clenched teeth. Helsing shrugged and offered him a hand up and the retrieved his axe from the wet grass.

Yes. I knew. But even you have to admit that was funny. The psychic toyed with his long bushy whiskers and held a wicked gleam in his black eyes.

Floyd shook his head and stashed the book in the pack. As he made his way to the rope ladder and passed his Sergeant he muttered gratefully. I owe you one.

Pookie did not feel the same way. The fluffy blonde hair ball scowled at him and bared her teeth as Floyd grabbed hold of the ladder and swung his way from rung to rung. The little dog wrapped her paws about his neck and cling for her life, momentarily distracted from glaring at Aris. Helsing waltzed right up to the human and patted him on the back, his way of thanking him for more than the laugh and followed after his trainer. The Kadabra was humming merrily, his fluffy tail swishing to the tune.

With his new companion in tow, Aris boarded his boat and returned to the wheelhouse, feeling... strange. He had never been one for accompaniment with anything other than Pokemon, even in the best of times. His last attempts had resulted in a young man's death.

He looked over at Floyd, who was still wielding a massive axe. Well, it wasn't likely that would happen again. And this time, he was downright excited. This was someone he respected. He aimed to impress, for the first time in recent history.

"Don't worry about the creaking!" he shouted out to Floyd as he turned the boat. It groaned loudly as he did so, and the balloon overhead shifted back and forth. "It's very secure, even if it doesn't look like it."

He pulled a lever, and the long sails sitting against the balloon shifted. There wasn't much in the way of wind to be caught down near the ground, but he hoped that by getting above the thick fog, he might catch some strong winds. And hopefully, some undisturbed travel. Once catching a decent draft, he righted the boat and they began their sail north.

Leaving the cabin, Aris approached Floyd. "The quickest way I can see is to head north out of the fog. Once we get over the ocean, we should get to Muskeg with ease."

"What exactly is your business there, anyway?"

I'll try to keep my posts from sucking too bad.

"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"

Current Location: Unclearable Fog Marsh 1 (Traveling with Aris on his wonderful flying boat)
Destination: Sinklands 2
Objective 1: Locate the Fog Clear Holy Mechanism
Objective 2: Happiness for Pookie
Other: Ponyta Egg 17/25
Team: Pookie (Eevee :fl Lvl 30) :hp 90 | Lex (Yanmega) :fl Lvl 34 :hp 136 | Helsing (Kadabra) :ml Lvl 30 :hp 90 | Hawkeye (Feraligatr) :ml Lvl 31 :hp 124 | Kaen (Arcanine) :ml Lvl 20 :hp 80

Floyd had never had a good look at his Sergeants unique aircraft, not even while it was at headquarters for repairs. It was a fairly large fishing boat kept aloft via an enormous balloon. He made a mental note to ask his engineers what they had learned about the craft while working on it. The boat lurched and creaked as Aris swung the wheel about and veered the bow back towards the sinklands. The winds caught the ship and pushed it through the air. Thick damp mist swept across the deck as they started on their way. Floyd felt as if he was standing in a cloud and suddenly he longed for his own ship more than ever. A look of determination wiped the anguished expression from his ugly mug and he waltz over to the railing to stare out in the white abyss.

I was looking for the Holy Mechanism for clearing away fog. He said bluntly. Figured this was a good place to start but Ive been up and down this damned marsh and there aint a single sign of it. He fixed the human with his toothy stare. Id just figured out the next likely place for it when you showed up. Theres a place in Muskeg that looks promising and the only way to find out is to go there. He shrugged, knowing it wasn't much to go on.

Helsing, who had wandered quietly up beside him was secretly grateful to his alien that he hadnt mentioned his mind raping the poor wild Yanma. It hadnt been a deed he was very proud of. Reaching up, he relieved Floyd of his furry burden and coddled her. Pookie had resumed snarling at Aris, and looking about as threatening as a rabid bunny rabbit.

So, other than the chance to scare the piss out of me and return my book. What brings you to this delightlful[/i[ puddle of mud? Floyd grinned through his sarcasm. Being so high in the air, even though he couldnt see a thing above or below, was refreshing. He was feeling more in his element already.

((Were ready for a mod, moving to sinklands 2 from unclearable fog marsh 1.))

Slowly but surely, the creaking vessel floated onward uninterrupted by those pesky pocket monster that lurked in the fog. Then again, it might be related to the fact that they could barely see the paws in front of their eyes much less the moving wooden contraption with a balloon on top. Thanks to this the eager young trainers were able to cross into the next part of the marsh with little resistance.

Arrived at Sinklands 2!
