"How many assholes we got on this ship anyhow?"
Location: Hillmoss Grasslands
Threat: We've gotten reports of a young trainer losing control of his starting pokemon several weeks ago. In the wild, there is no telling how fast it could grow and how much trouble it could cause. Since then, we've gotten word of a rather unusual pokemon, one that normally doesn't inhabit the area, has been causing trouble for passing trainers. Someone is needed to go there and handle the situation... by any means necessary.

Details:
The pokemon was a Charmander owned by Vance Ellison, a resident 12 year who lives at 429 Hillmoss lane with his 37 year old mother Jessica Lyn, a house wife originally from Lorenzo, and his father John, 39 from Hillmoss who works as one of Professor Willows assistants. An interview with anyone in town or in the immediate area will direct you to this family who can give more detailed information.

The family will inform you that the starter was a high spirited creature that refused to respond to the simplest commands and that it was obviously unfit to be a childs first pokemon. Both parents leave the impression they are superior to you and blame Professor Willow for the creature burning their son on the first day of his adventure and fleeing into the neighboring fields. The Professor will not be available for comment.

Interviewing the son in front of the parents will present a very shy well behaved persona that seems more than willing to show you where his pokemon was last seen. Once the boy is out of his prudish familys sight a much different personality unveils itself. The boy is disrespectful, might chase nearby pets, and hints that his pokemon wasnt tough enough because it tired out too quickly and couldnt take a hit from a weak water type. He also indicates he encouraged the animal to set fire to shrubs, trash, and other combustibles that might present an annoyance to his neighbors because it was fun. Any attempt to assure the brat that youll get his pokemon back and under control will be rebuffed. He wont care. His parents have promised him a stronger more obedient pokemon.

After the boy shows you the area where his Charmander ran off (and gives you its pokball), you start your investigation of the immediate area. Now, rumors have indicated that the rampant creature is much larger than a Charmander so its safe to assume the abused creature has evolved. How much will depend on the OME members APL. Following scorch marks will lead you to three different people.

The first is a wheat farmer. You find him driving an old john deer. Hell say he saw the beast three days ago heading east towards Malral and to please stop it quickly, a wild fire in prairie could be devastating.

Heading east now you will encounter another young trainer on her way back into town. Shes about 14 with a full team of water types and they were all that kept her safe from the angry fire type but took a real beating pushing it back, so shes heading to town to get some help. Shell tell you that the feral pokemon was provoked by the sight of her water types and seemed adamant to take them all out. She tells you to continue east since her encounter was only the previous evening.

Your third encounter involves Professor Willow. Stricken with the travesty that one of her own precious starters caused such grief and became a threat, she left the lab to pursue the poor thing herself. She was convinced the rotten young man merely frightened the starter and a familiar friendly face was all it needed. She was wrong.

The professor, though knowledgeable about pokemon, is no trainer, and her Swampert/Marshstomp was no match for the beast. She is the one who sent the plea for help to the OME. She points you to a copse of trees where the beast vanished into after beating her pokemon.

The Charmander evo will be an emotional beasty with a determined calculating nature. He should defy all odds by beating you down to your last pokemon where through death and exhaustion will collapse from your last blow. Return it to its pokball dead or alive depending on your tactics and let Willow know the situation has been handled. If the pokemon is dead, give it to Willow, if it lives and is captured, return to the OME with it.

NO HP is used in this battle. Consider the person's tactic and remember the pokemon will be impossibly strong regardless of types and tactics.
