"Chaya." The girl called, tapping her foot impatiently, watching the other not move an inch. "Chaya!" No reaction still. One could not tell if one was older and who was younger, judging by the younger sister's taller and more...mature body and facial expressions while the girl that slumbered was smaller and looked like a 12-year-old kid. "Chaya!" She called out for the last time, nearing a yell, but she got no reaction still. In frustration, the other left. Chaya, the girl apparently sleeping, rolled over, sighing in gratitude. This was not the case five minutes later when Chaya was awakened by a nice splash of cold water on her face. Chaya sprang up with a yelp and jumped out of bed, barely missing her sister, and fell, face up. "Breakfast?" Chaya said innocently, her brown eyes blinking at her cutely. The sister sighed once more. "It's ready." She couldn't argue with such a face, then cursed her gentleness on her OLDER sister. She didn't flinch a bit when she turned her body to see her sister running down the stairs. The other followed suit. Together, they ate breakfast, though Chaya was finished before her sister's plate was half empty, consisting of two, more like 1 and a half, eggs and a strip of bacon. "Hey hey sissy! I have to leave soon to go get my first pokemon!" Would have been what Chaya would've said, if she wasn't interrupted by her sister. "I don't think you should go." Chaya frowned at this. "Why not sissy?" She said, letting the 'not' drag on like a child. Her sister seemed irritated at that. "For one, try to act your age...and be normal for once!" She chastised, and noticed the tears swelling up in Chaya's eyes. Her sister cursed in her mind, remembering Chaya WAS not normal. "Just because I haven't regained all my memories doesn't mean our older sisters can just go as they please with their pokemon! I wanna train too!" She whined, sniffling. Her sister gave out a groan. "What's a pikachu?" Chaya stood in silence. "A type of food?" She said innocently. "That's what I mean Chaya! A pikachu is a pokemon...I really don't think you should go anymore." That made Chaya have an angry look. "Not uh! I'm going and that's final!" She said, tossing her head up rudely, making her still wet hair go on her face. "Well...you have about two minutes to get ready to leave...or you'll never make it. And she's going to get mad." All she needed to say was two minutes before Chaya rushed back up stairs and grabbed her things hurriedly and ran back down. "Bye bye sissy! Tell elder sisters I'll be back someday and help pay the rent ever since mommy and daddy died!" She bolted out the door, leaving it wide open as her sister came and closed the door. 'She might be immature now, but something tells me she'll gain more memories and learn how to become mature all on her own. At least, for her sake and her pokemon's sake.' Her sister thought, looking at the now closed door in worry. 'I think my poor sister might be coming home a little sooner.' She thought once more grimly, sighing with grief as she went back upstairs. It was too early in the morning to be up. |

Angriest Lax Alive
|
Here's a twist: as the younger sister was about to mount the stairs and head back to sleep, she spotted something that made her double-take, and scowl, and grumble; namely Chaya's wallet, with all the money that had been put aside for her to use on her journey (5000 zenni, which was not an amount to be taken lightly), sitting on the table. At least she'd remembered to take her poketch and escape rope, so she could call the ridiculous girl back... but she decided not to. If and when Chaya noticed she didn't have any money, she would come running home; until then, no one was going to go running after her. Immediately. (So... Chaya has her poketch and escape rope with three charges, and a wallet with 5000z in it at home. You can have the sister run and give it to her or make Chaya come back. doesn't really matter) |

(Alright...I'll just post it here, is that alright? Since it's technically still at the house...) Chaya slowed a little and eventually stopped, having used too much energy in a run. She felt like she could never make it, but she wouldn't give up now! There was a dream to fulfill, to be normal, just like everyone else, and to live happily with pokemon. She decided to rest as she held in her little bag of things everything, or so she thought, she needed. Her thoughts wandered about events that happened yesterday, though not at all exciting, until she started to pack for her journey. "Hey, Chaya, give me your wallet for a second. I'm going to add money in it." The younger sister said, as Chaya gave her a childish look on her face, much like a perfect 'puppy eyes', or rather, kitty eyes since Chaya's personality matched more of a cat than a dog. "Really, sissy? I love you so much!" Chaya tackled her sister to the ground, making her groan at the contact as she glared at Chaya. "Let me go before I change my mind!" Now that she thought about it, did she ever put it back? A jolt of realization happened as a wind blew by. Suddenly, Chaya found new strength to run all the way back to her house. She was so tired when she arrived that she thought she would have to crawl to the Professor's lab. The door slammed open, to see her wallet in her face with an agitated look from her sister. "I don't want you and your pokemon being homeless." She said with a agitated voice. "I got too excited?" She said, using her same 'kitty' face as her sister sighed and gave Chaya the wallet. "You're hopeless. I swear, once I can leave the house, I'll be trying to find your battered and torn body!" Before Quinita could even say 'find', the energetic Chaya was off, only to trip a few feet away, scramble up, and break for a run. 'You'd think she had a little too much candy.' Quinita thought, sighing. Well, maybe it was because Chaya had the memory of a little girl, technically, because she lost all her childhood memories. So, this was her childhood. Let there be some pokemon god to watch over her. |
