Click. Clack. Clickity clack.

Fingers seemed to blur as the teenager typed out a message on her favourite online blog. Informing the world of the harshness her parents had inflicted on her, the cruel, uncaring creatures. Her average sized nose was scrunched up in the way it always was when she was angry. Her eyes were narrowed, glaring at the monitor of her computer as she hit the keys on the board furiously.

It was rather late at night. However, the girl was usually up until the early hours of the morning, typing and clicking away at the latop in front of her. The latop had been a gift from her mother for the christmas before. She loved it like a brother.

The room the girl was in was her own. Her bedroom, a place of comfort and solitude, away from the real world. It was a rather small confinement, barely 3 metres long and 2 wide. Her bed took up the majority of the surface area. The rest was covered in mess. With a life revolving around her computers, indeed she had two in the one room, she rarely had time to tidy. Also, she was lazy and found it difficult to summon the energy for such a chore.

After the girl finished typing, she sent the rant, before placing the computer on the floor of her bedroom, on top of a crumpled up pair of jeans. She rummadged around a patch of floor, searching for her mp3 player. After a whole few mintutes lookig, after becoming increasingly annoyed, she found it. Frowning, she plugged it into the larger computer at the other end of her bedroom. Charge.

She changed into a pair of purple ghastly pyjamas, crawling into bed and pulling the duvet up over her arms. She sighed, retying her hair into a ponytail. She was rather proud of her hair, teal in colour, something not unnatural in a world of pokemon. It was quite long, below her shoulders and dreadlocked. It was incredibly easy to care for, meaning she had more time for the important things in life.

Nearly everyone she knew called her Techno. Short for Technologic, describing her personality quite fantastically. The girl was incredibly clever, especially when it came to technology, and indeed she had a great interest in it. She was never really cared for the girlier aspects of life, something that always bothered her mother. Her Dad loved having a geeky daughter, as he worked in computers himself and indeed taught her nearly everything he knew. Her mother had wanted someone she could take shopping and discuss make up and boys, whereas Techno never really bothered with that.

However, now she was being kicked out. The thought made her blood boil. Apparenty, she didn't spend enough time outside and her health was suffering? Rubbish, Techno thought, frowning furiously. Okay, sometimes she forgot to eat and sometimes she went days without sleep, but it's not like she had anything better to do. Her mother wanted her to get out of her house, perhaps go on a journey with pokemon.

Well, she'd do that alright. But not with the cute little pokemon that her mother wanted. Give her something that oozed poison or spat spores. That would be lovely. Eventually, the girl drifted off to sleep, her dreams filled with thoughts of her mother being chased by bug type pokemon...

The next morning, Techno woke early, as she normally did. She tied her hair back into a ponytail, as it normally was, and dressed herself. She wore simple clothes, although she still tried to look remotely decent. She wore three quater length capri jeans, a pair of slightly tatty converse shoes and a strappy top that was red in colour. She wore a jacket over the top, just to keep warm. She walked downstairs, and ate her cornflakes in silence. She ignored her father whispering that it would all be fine, that they did love her, and they were only trying to help.

After packing her bag, she sat on a wooden chair in the kitchen. Her legs were crossed under her as her mother made her some lunch to take with her. She was starting to feel slightly excited, but she wouldn't let her parents know that. Frowning, she checked her bag. Toothbrush, laptop, mp3, old school gameboy, sleeping bag, spare clothes... It was all in there. She sighed as her mother passed her food and she shoved it into her canvas shoulder bag.

Standing at the door half an hour later, she was shocked as her mother burst into tears. She flung her arms around Techno's neck, as Techno was quite a bit taller than the older woman. Her dad peeled her away, nodding a goodbye to Techno, his eyes welling up with tears. The teenager simply stared at her parents, not expecting them to get so emotional, and before she knew it she was hugging them both, fighting back tears.

"Sorry, Mum." She whispered, although she wasn't entirely sure what she was apologising for. "Thanks for everything." She mumbled, leaving without another word. She was off on a journey of which many trials and tribulations would take place. It was a new life, that was for sure. And she'd sure as hell miss the old one.

Mysteriously, the next time you would check your bag, you would find that there were more items than you had remembered packing. A PokeTech, Escape Rope with three charges, and 5000z. Where had this come from?

Woah! Twilight Zone!
