As most of you are aware, I'm changing things up with the awards from this point on. I know there are only like, four days left in January. Deal with it, people have lives. To help tide you over, I'll extend the nominating period to Feb. 4th. Now, here are the new guidelines. 1.) You can only choose from the list provided. The list is of people who have posted in the past month, and we are only rewarding what people have done on the board. I don't care how much you people love Sam, she doesn't post, she doesn't win. 2.) You can only nominate one person per category. No ties, no 'I-Can't-Make-Up-My-Mind's, one person per category. You vote more than one, the nomination no longer exists. 3.) Have I said 'nominate' a couple of times? That's because this is exactly what this is. No more popular vote crap, because you people pick the stupidest people to win. Whoever does the awards will look at all of the nominees, and use their omnipotence to judge everyone and pick a winner. Booya. 4.) For each nomination you give, you must tell us why. If you don't, chances are your nominee won't get it because you aren't doing shit to persuade me that they should. 5.) Each category will have it's own prizes, and they will change every month. Because of this, if you were to win multiple categories, you may claim each category's prize. 6.) Always vote for Petrelli. So, here is the list of this month's potential nominees: Monkey 45flight Lauren Falthor Dan The Second Alexandra Dragontamer Dante2035 Jolt Shadowheart Steel Cerberus Kaizanu Eeveefreak Maverick jc316 Fantasy Shadow Fractal Monkey Packerdan VGM Arashi Realta Failing Strength Cadrica KaiserTheDragon Tyrgon SuperSephroth13 Greatfallz Shiney Glaix And here are the awards. Some classic, some new, and some tweaked. Best Moderator Who saved our ass the most this month with frequent, high quality mods? Best Roleplayer Who uses the prettiest words to paint a picture in your mind. Best Storyteller Who consistently has the best characterizations, plot devices, and intriguing story to tell? Most Promising Prospect Of all the newbs, who do you think has the ability to stick with it? Stand-out Trainer Who has drastically improved this month to warrant your attention? Legacy Clown We have a lot of jokers here on the site, but who's character was the funniest this month? Best Pokemon Which POKEMON do you find yourself liking the most? The pokemon will directly receive this award, not it's trainer. January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap Which trainer really got under your skin this month? Now. Vote. |

Best Moderator Fractal Monkey. He is online quite a bit, and never hesitates to mod someone who needs it. I would be glad to pass the torch to him. Best Roleplayer Fractal Monkey. Pound for pound, althoguh he doesn't believe it, he is one of the betetr RPers around. I did a storyline with him, and I was impressed. Best Storyteller Falthor. He has done a series of freeforms, all of which were pretty good. Good stories, anyways. Most Promising Prospect You never can tell with newbs. Lauren is good. If she will stick with it, nobody can say. Stand-out Trainer I don't notice much of anyone except myself. But, I have bene watching Monkey in the lab posts he has done. I think he has improved alot since he restarted. Legacy Clown Steely, hands down. Her dialog is funny as hell, and they was she describes things is just as good. She has found her niche. Best Pokemon Best Pokemon huh? Well... although I think he oculd handled a bit better and more in depth, I like Bale. His attitude would fit in with my team in the past. The whole 'I am angry and better than you and wouldn't think twice about ripping your heart out and feeding it to you' thing is pretty appealing to me. January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap Well... I can't say that there are alot of people I would like to bitchslap. Only one comes to mind. JC's guy. Running from an NPC fight that was completely winnable was pretty pansy-ass if you ask me. So yea, him. |

Best Moderator Fractal Monkey. Kind of an easy choice. Best Roleplayer I kind of like Fanta's stuff. Best Storyteller Falthor's freeforms were surprisingly good. Most Promising Prospect I have a feeling that none of our new people from this month will stick. Stand-out Trainer Monkey's Lab Posts are becoming quite something. Legacy Clown Shiney Best Pokemon Don' usually pay attention to certain Pokemon. January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap No one that I've seen has ticked me off. |

Best Moderator Fractal Monkey. Continually comes up with high quality mods, even when the rp posts give him nothing. Best Roleplayer Eeveefreak. I am doing a storyline with her and I'm amazed at the stuff she comes up with. Best Storyteller Falthor. His Freeforms were good. Most Promising Prospect Lauren. If she sticks with it Stand-out Trainer No-one really stands out to me, everyone is doing their thing. Legacy Clown Stelly, she rocks. 'Nuff said. Best Pokemon I quite like Fanta's Leaf. I dont know what it is about him but I like it. January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap Gotta say Jc running from the NPC was pretty pansy'ish. |

Best Moderator Fractal Monkey, hands down. Best Roleplayer I haven't been reading too much else, so no vote. Best Storyteller Same as above. Most Promising Prospect Lauren, and as I say this I hope she reads these votes and sticks with the site! Stand-out Trainer I agree that Monkey's lab posts were definitely out of the usual mold. My vote goes to him. Legacy Clown Based only off of posts I've read, Steel Cerberus. Her posts never cease to make me laugh. Best Pokemon What are you talking about! Pokémon don't have personalities! >___> January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap I'm a civil person. So no one. :D |

First off, I vote Petrelli. Best Moderator I'm going for Jolt. For the first half of the month, he was almost single-handedly doing the modding for the entire site. I also enjoyed the storyline that he ran for me. Best Roleplayer Monkey. He's got a unique angle with his character, and I like how it's progressing. Best Storyteller I'll go with Eeveefreak, based on the freeform. I'm a sucker for people who can freeform. Most Promising Prospect Lauren's taking it seriously, and her posts are pretty high-quality thus far. Stand-out Trainer I don't think I can pick one person out, so I won't. Legacy Clown Steely gets my nomination, just because her posts are in a completely different style to everyone else's. She intentionally goes for humour in her posts. Best Pokemon Jolt's Rage. That karp's got some issues. It'll be quite interesting when it evolves. January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap I'm not the bitchslapping sort. Pass. |

'Tis good to see you back, Suna. :) But votes, yes. Best Moderator Hmm. Jolt and Fractal have been the most steady and consistent this month, though that doesn't mean that others haven't been doing their part. However, I've gotten quite a kick out of many of Fractal's innovative mods, so I shall place my vote there. And say thanks to everyone who's modding, though...you're all great. Best Roleplayer Curently, I'll say Failing Strength. His posts are always interesting and well thought out, at least to me. Best Storyteller Fractal's storyline was great, and I think he's pretty good with the consistency of character and all, so I think I shall go with him here. Most Promising Prospect The only one I've seen much that really caught my eye by was Lauren. I do hope she sticks. Stand-out Trainer Oddly enough, I'm going to vote for Jolt here. Not in improvement with skill per se, but it's been fascinating to actually watch him make the effort to remove all the hate from his team. Watching him cheer his fish on has been delightfully different. Legacy Clown Steely is always good for a laugh, and she has such a unique style of writing...I'll go with her, here. Best Pokemon Steely's Rush, methinks. I like the homicidal hippo, and the way Steely portrays him is just lovely. January's Special Award: Trainer You Would Most Like To Bitchslap Which trainer really got under your skin this month? Hmm. Hard call. Only people who have done stuff particularly notewrthy for not-niceness that I've seen are 45 kicking the Pikachu, and Jc walking away from the trainer battle. I will grant that trainers can be annoying, and the rat is too popular for its own good, but still...blergh. *flips coin* 45 for the Pikachu incident. |
