Cap's house is situated on a small hill on the outskirts of Little Hillmoss Town. It is surrounded by half a dozen other houses, each with its own small garden, all well-kept, some with a large variety of flowers, others merely a lawn which has been cut short. There were several trees surrounding the area, each heavily laden with dark green leaves, swaying gently in the breeze. The houses themselves were fairly small, each having around 6 rooms, each having thatched roofs and a structure made out of sandstone. Each house has two chimneys, one at either end of the building. each garden was surrounded by short walls standing around three feet high, with a gate in the middle of the third wall. A narrow path led from the gate to each front door, splitting the lawn into two halves. Cap's house was on the end of the row, and, once inside the front door, the smell of cooking bacon and egg cooking, and the loud hissing sound of the food cooking in the frying pan can be heard from the kitchen. The family Growlithe wanders through from the kitchen, and its collar makes a light jingle sound. The living room is half-full of unopened boxes, due to the fact the family had only moved in recently. The man of the house was parked on a chair in the living room, with his left foot stretched out, his foot laid upon a small orange beanbag. His wife was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast, and their teenaged child was upstairs, getting ready to go out. Bangs came from upstairs, which steadily grew louder as he came down the stairs. "Have you seen my backpack?" the young boy calls through into the kitchen. His stepfather grumbled. "You can never find anything, can you?" Cap turned round on the spot and faced his stepfather. "Yeah, and you can never miss a chance to point that out. Can't you just be happy for me, just once?" His stepfather decided not to answer the question. Cap stuck his fingers up, until he heard a soft squeaking sound. He walked over to the family Grownlithe and petted her. "You look after them, yeah?" Cap flicked his long fringe out of his eyes, and looked around the room. He was unable to see a backpack in the living room, but still chuckled to himself. "This purple wallpaper's awful." He walked quickly through to the kitchen, closely followed by the Growlithe. "Gwen, go lay down, babe..." When Cap reached the kitched, he turned the knob for the frying pan so the heat was off, and put the egg and bacon into two seperate sandwiches. He took the bacon sandwich trough to his father and placed it loudly on the table. He then walked back into the tiled kitchen, and called on his mother again. A middle-aged woman came in through the back door. "What?" She said as the took her sandwich and thanked Cap. "Have you seen my packpack?" Cap asked again. He followed his mother back through to the living room, where she sat down on the couch, with Gwen the Growlithe looking up at her fondly. "I think I put it by the front door." Cap then turned towards his father, and said, "There, see, it wasn't my fault!" Cap then walked over to the front door to find his beige backpack hanging up. Once he knew where it was, Cap went upstairs to make sure there was nothing he needed. He walked into his small bedroom, and looked at all the boxes that had been piled up due to Cap leaving and not really needing the room. Once he realised he hadn't left anything on the floor to pick up, he made his downstairs, and put on his favourite black jacket. He then found his best shoes and put them on, and announced, "I'm going now." His mother stood up and gave him hug. "Good luck. You can come back any time you need to, okay?" Cap nodded, and then made his way towards his backpack. His stepfather mumbled, "Take care." Cap made an 'Mmhmm' sound, and took his bag off of the hook. |

You find: 3,500Escape Rope Device w/ 3 charges A brand new poketch.(With the color of your choosing) and whatever clothes and personal things that you need. EDIT: You get .4 for writing a rather lengthy house post, as well as correcting me in giving you GenEXP for this.

((OOC:: Mod was pretty basic, but there's not much you can say in reply to a house post other than what you get. So, you gets 0.1 :gexp)) IC:: Cap opened the front door and then left his house for the last time, for a while anyway, and proceeded down the hill, heading in the direction of the Pokémon Laboratory. |

It was never said, but I don't think you're supposed to give out Genexp for House and Lab Posts. Honest mistake though, someone should bring that up to Grin. |
