Chapter 1 Neon Nightmare

Little activity took place in the district that was known to the general public. Young adults and teenagers had chosen this spot because of the lack of police activity due to it's lack of usage in the past few months. Alphonse Reynard, the current mayor of the township had deemed it unfit for continued use and ordered the warehouse be destroyed in the near future. However, the spike in crime had caused it to be pushed further and further back on the figurative to-do list. It's located on the south side of the city where most of the wealthy decided to reside. Most schools in the area held high records and most parents provided through top tier employment. Most would believe it to be a rather model community at first glance.

The back entrance was shielded by numerous left over crates and barrels used for unknown purposes; it's not like it made much of a difference to the patrons. It was poorly lit and well hidden by the stray garbage that companies had left behind after the cease order was issued by Reynard. Six or seven shadows shuffled through the darkness of the south end towards this corridor. A taller male who appeared to be their leader lifted the rusty handle on the steel frame door, pushing inward with little effort. The other six loyally followed behind him with a few inaudible whispers spoken. After a few seconds their leader had grown ill with the conversation but said nothing. Heavy patterned tones bounced through the halls that caused the inner walls to shake which each bass eruption. Each of the followers became silent once they finally came to another doorway.

The twin doors were again brushed aside by the sovereign shadow only to reveal an array of neon colors flashing rapidly across the walls. A sea of young adults waved their arms madly in the air of the warehouse in the exotic light brought about by numerous spheres and strobe lights positioned strategically through the open space. A few platforms were established for liquor and food with another in the back where everyone seemed to be facing. Their ring leader was a man dressed in loose fitting jean slacks and a dark gray hooded coat. Headphones were cupped on his ears with hands laid down to twin black circles that he spun with trained dexterity. Loud conversation and screams of pure ecstasy couldn't even drown out the beats being spewed from the speakers. Each patron had a few rings of neon liquid around their necks, wrists, ankles and even ears. Yes, everything was model in the South District; excluding the nightly raves.

The tallest shadow moved into the light. Dark ruffled hair atop his head with clothes of a bright nature dressed in a similar fashion to the deejay. Wiping his palms together, he turned to one figure among the rest that happened to be Shugo Getsufuhma.

See? This is where a lot of us chill afta' a long day. Pretty tight, am I right? He seemed very eager.
Uh... it's cool, I guess. As long as I don't get epilepsy from the lights. Shugo snorted.

Each other boy couldn't help but give him a curious look from the rather morbid comment. Danny recovered with a nudge to the stomach and a hearty grin.

He's a kidder, this guy! Now chill, Shugsta, just go out and mingle. You'll have fun, no worries.

With that the other boys began to split up other than the two who were in conversation. Danny placed a hand on Shugo's shoulder and forced him into the crowd. Weaving through sweaty bodies colliding, the two found an slightly empty region where a few females danced along with one another. By their sudden attention to the larger boy they seemed to know of his reputation. Immediately they began a series of grinding that Shugo's eyes tried to follow. Sadly, the lad had never learned to break it down properly. Danny noticed the nervousness in his protease and pulled him aside briefly and began to whisper.
Listen, the girl on the left in Cheyenne. I told her 'bout 'cha, so just go with the flow. Bounce to the beat, y'know.

Once freed, Cheyenne had approached and taken her hands to the back of Shugo's neck. This caused him to jump, but she giggled and placed a finger on his mouth. With that came a series of sways and grinds of the hips that would cause their ancestors to roll in their graves. Our lad was quite afraid but did enjoy the attention; traveling left for no time to mingle with his peers. Shugo hesitantly began to bounce his legs in a similar fashion to her own. Time would pass by effortlessly. He had been in a confidence slump since the gym battle with Marvin and his match with Danny so any attention was welcomed.

Shug, you havin' fun, said Cheyenne with a giggle in her words.
Uh.... yeah... Shugo still seemed tense.

Without another word, Cheyenne placed her hand across her open mouth to which Shugo paid little attention. The two collided in a sudden forceful kiss, tongues dancing the dreaded tango of sexuality. An unfamiliar taste slipped down the boy's throat which he questioned by pulling away. Cheyenne simply shook her head and continued her escapades with her new 'boy-toy.'

Just be sure to get some water in a minute...

Whether it be that this girl seemed to be all over him or that the beat had taken him away from reality, he ignored that comment. An hour would continue to pass by before nausea fell upon Shugo. A light-headed feeling caused him to feel very sick to his stomach. He would break away from his love interest and shuffle through a sea of teenagers to force himself to a stand where bottles of water sat. Another patron was slumped against a steel beam nearby.

Drink some water kid.

It goes without saying that Shugo snatched a bottle and unscrewed the top as quickly as he could go. Placing it against his mouth, the refreshing water flowed down his throat with satisfaction. A sigh of relief came afterwards as he placed the bottle in his jacket pocket with the top latched on. Heavy sweating was causing Shugo to regret attending this event even with Danny's recommendation. Staggering to both of his feet, the male made his way to the nearest exit and pushed the steel door apart before falling against the resonating wall behind him. Despite making new friends, he couldn't seem to adjust to this new world or the people in it. The boy hung his head between his arms with both knees recoiled to his chest.

.... Didn't like in there either? A meek and startling voice spoke.

Chapter 2 Evan and the Galactic Pursuit

The moonlight drifted from atop the west end of the steel building behind Shugo revealing the hairline and body of a smaller boy than him. A light green hue to his hair and a rather short cut revealed that he was well kept. His attire was more than modest and seemed to be of an expensive brand due to the condition it remained in; colorful and unworn. Shugo raised his head to view the younger male and speak in a frazzled tone.

Nah. Not my kind of place... Why're you sitting out here alone?
.... I'm just-... It's not my place either. My friends kind of brought me.. but I just don't want to be here.
Shugo could relate in more ways than one to the frightened male. He pondered for a moment before bracing himself against the wall to stand. The drug that he had taken unbeknown to him was taking it's effect on him. Vision had become very hazy and his steps became less coordinated with each passing step. He released a heavy breath and spoke.

I don't either. Let's ditch this place, then. I'll take you home or something.
The boy perked up at the offer posed, raising his own head from between his arms and legs.
... Yeah. I live not too far from here... On the south end of the district.

The younger pushed up onto his feet revealing he was a bit shorter than Shugo even with his thick soled shoes. Everything on his body seemed to cost more than any trainer carried on hand. The two began to travel down the dimly lit sidewalk, Shugo stumbling over himself the entire way. It was silent other than their footsteps and the lad's heavy breathing. His companion would hold him straight with an arm braced underneath his right shoulder and his own body weight.

The boy spoke at a very awkward time. Evan. My name is Evan.
.. I'm Shugo. It's good to meet you, Evan.

Elsewhere, a man dressed in a long white trench coat viewed a series of monitors from a small, cramped room. His hair was of a magenta color and quite short. Two other men dressed in similar white coats only of a smaller length continued to press assorted buttons and view the different screens. They all seemed to be waiting for some kind of sign. A few moments later, the doorway at the back slid open to reveal another man with a shadowy figure standing at it's side. Emerging into the light, it was revealed to have a dark skin tone and multiple claws for hands. Very similar to a Sneasel.

He's not in his bedroom. We aren't able to check the rest of the house for security purposes, sir. They'd have us spotted and eliminated before we even had our bargaining chip.
True. I don't blame you. But what baffles me is where could that child have gone at this hour?!

The leader slammed his fist into the keyboard in front of him. The others rolled their eyes at his disregard for the expensive equipment they carried in the van. Turning in his rotating chair, the superior glanced at the two figures standing outside of the vehicle.

We'll have you and Weavile patrol the area then. If we find him alone, then it'll be much easier than breaking and entering. Find him and-

One of the subordinates flipped to another screen anxiously watching two boys traveling down a street near the place where they had just visited. Shugo and Evan walked alongside one another towards the district where the younger claimed he resided. The red haired leader saw the image and bolted upright.

He's traveling with another kid. It's an easy pick up, you two! Get moving!
Yes, Commander Saturn! With that the van door slammed shut and the grunt along with the Weavile began their pursuit of the two boys.

Chapter 3 Weavile's Power Unleashed

Shugo and Evan were nearing his residence which turned out to be a rather large home. Judging by the window's positioning, it must have been three stories tall! It was amidst other very swanky abodes in an upstanding neighborhood. He would've be correct in his assumption that Evan was a wealthy teenager. He smiled vibrantly and began to run down the final street to his home. The effect of the drug was lessening but Shugo was still left to walk slowly behind him. At this point his vision seemed to be coming back from the dizzy state it was once. Evan pivoted to wave for Shugo to hurry up only to have his mouth covered by a black hand. The figure drew the silenced Evan to another man who proceeded to bound him with rope and a gag. The lad could see this occurring and attempted to run forward, no longer feeling bound the after effects. A shadowy figure dropped in front of him preventing him from advancing towards his captured friend.

Don't bother, child. He won't be harmed, we only need him as a secret weapon. Go on home, this is no place for you.

The ecstasy had overtaken Shugo's sense of judgment, not that he would use it anyway in this situation. Stepping forward from the shadows was the Weavile from before. Quirking an eyebrow, the boy was confused. He had never seen this creature before. Either way, a pokemon is a pokemon. Dropping a free hand to his belt latch, he tore a sphere from it to launch it into the sky. The cracking effect and the stream of light revealed a Makuhita.

If it's a battle you want, then that's what you'll get! Hang tight, Evan! Shugo seemed overly confident with a smirk across his face.
That means nothing. Weavile, use Night Slash.

The thick body of the Makuhita lunged forward and prepared for an arm thrust launching it's right arm forward with as much vigor as it could manage. However, Weavile's body became a blur as it bolted into a quick dart to the right. It glided along the pavement before swiping it's claws outward to leave an outline of dark energy behind them. Swiping into Makuhita's thick belly, it bounced backward a little dazed.

Try a Seismic Toss this time!

Weavile moved before the order was even issued. It's mouth opened from a point blank range to launch to latch onto the Makuhita's right arm. The fangs bared a resemblance to ice sickles with the distinct hiss and cracking of hardened ice. The fighting type roared from the pain before falling backward out of energy. Shugo seemed very shocked that one of his power houses was demolished by something he had never seen before so effortlessly! Chuckling from a distance, the white coated man had already began to leave with Evan while his partner remained behind.

Shugo wasn't ready to give in; ever since the rave incident, he had an extra sense of confidence and didn't seem to regard failure. Even more so than often Shugo didn't see failure as an option. He broke into a sprint and attempted to catch up to the fleeing man. However, Weavile appeared in front of him and gave a quick jab to his stomach forcing him backward onto his rump. Growling, Shugo took another pokeball from the arsenal and threw it forward to call on his Croconaw. The wave of light revealed it to the Weavile which only scoffed; it wasn't impressed.

Alright Droude, I need you to win this! We've gotta save Evan! Water Gun!

Weavile's eyes glowed of a white color causing the temperature in the area to drop. Ivy shards broke from the airspace to form a wind filled with sickles made of frozen water. The water collided with them and only expanded the length of the Icy Wind. Croconaw was left in the downtime and pierced with each shard that was launched. Pupils became dilated and the attack forced the alligator into unconsciousness. The dark type smirked and disappeared from Shugo's vision. He tried to run forward and stop it himself but it was no use; the pokemon was far faster than human speed. Panting and breathing heavily, the boy began to sound weak even as the blurry eyesight returned. The last thing he could remember was that he had to find Evan before he fell into blankness. Just like his previous battles, he had lost.

Chapter 4 The Unfair Exchange

How dare you kidnap our son just to get some piece of technology? You sicken me!
Maybe so, Tony. But it won't matter much if your son doesn't return to you. We have a dream and you're going to help us proceed. The expertise of that capturing system is exactly what we need to bring forward our ultimate goal.
You're just a bunch of low-life thieves and terrorists! What makes you think I'll even give you the knowledge of operating it and the equipment needed?
Because you love your son more than anything else. Ah, the shackles of having a family, so helpful. We'll airlift your son to your corporate building at two in the morning. Have the equipment ready for transport by then.

The transmission from the illuminated screen was cut off. Tony Stark was outraged as he sat alone in his private office in his home. Fingers were balled tightly into a fist out of anger as he stood up to glance out a nearby window towards the open scape of the neighborhood. Releasing a heavy sigh, he leaned against the glass and began to sob. What else was he to do?

Shugo awakened with a groan as he tossed about in a bed of an unknown room. It was adorned with many different collectible items such as baseball memorabilia and pokemon items including posters and a very expensive computer. He rose up from the bed but still felt weak. Before he could even get up the door opened to reveal a woman much older than him. She seemed a bit surprised that he was even awake. A tray of chicken noodle soup was held in both of her hands against her stomach.

Oh my, you're awake! I thought you would be out for a little bit longer.
... Huh? I passed out? It was Cheyenne...
It was who? You've got me confused, my name's Allison. I'm Evan's mom...

At that name spoken Shugo panicked and leaped from the bed despite his dazed state only half dressed.

Evan?! Where is he? I've got to find those white coated guys and save Evan!
They got away. We don't know where they took him. Our security cameras picked up the activity down the street. My husband and I woke up only to see you battling that pokemon and the men get away with our son...

Allison looked as though she could break down and cry at any minute. Her eyes fell to a picture on the desk near the two of them. It depicted Evan and both of his parents, each of them holding up a fish of different sizes from a fishing trip. She fell to the bed and held her face in her hands with a weak tone. Shugo grabbed his shirt and jacket that were hanging on a rack near him and slipped them over his head.

I've never seen those guys before. Do you know who they are? If we knew they're names or something we could track them down and find Evan!
It's Team Galactic. Another voice entered the conversation from the doorway where Tony Stark now stood with a somber expression.
Team who? inquired Shugo.
A team that is bent on conquering our world using something involving outer space from my understanding. They aren't a very large organization; they're known as a small terrorist group. They want the ACP.

Tony shuffled into the room while placing a hand on his wife's shoulder to console her. Shugo, now fully dressed, still looked at him very puzzled. The taller executive tried not to look away from his wife, but he noticed the photograph on the desk as well. After that his eyelids fell shut.

The Advanced Capture Program. We developed it for the capture of pokemon in large quantities, or even some that have high elemental defenses. It was just a follow up on the development of the Dusk Ball, Lure Ball, those sorts of things. We didn't expect it to become a target of a terrorist group.

Tony paused before swallowing to finish.

They want Evan in exchange for the prototype of the ACP tonight.

Allison looked up from her sobbing in dismay. Shugo seemed surprised as well with his pupils growing larger with his mouth agape. Edwin shook his head at his own decision before walking to the doorway almost shuddering at the thought. His wife knew what he had decided to do and couldn't blame him for it; Shugo could understand as well. Still, he slammed his open palm against the desk causing it to shake.

I know that's what you should do, but we can work around this. If we put our heads together, I'm sure we can-
No! I'm going to give them the ACP for Evan tonight! I appreciate you helping him get home and trying to defend him, but we have no choice.... I'm not losing my son.

Tony in anger slammed the door and left for his corporate office in the North District of Kevin Baconville. Allison still remained to grief over her son and the reasoning they had for getting him back. The boy moved over to the door while grabbing his knapsack and slinging it over his shoulder and onto his back. Through Allison's crying, he left the home with his own idea.

Even if I can't beat that stupid pokemon they use... I'll still save Evan.

Chapter 5 Alternative Methods

The hours had faded as if they were years on that long day. Allison had done nothing but mope around her home and constantly return to clean Evan's room in order to ensure it was as he would like it when he returned. Perhaps she got some solace in the fact that she would have her beloved sun come nightfall. Tony had gone to Stark Enterprises main building midday which was actually one of the largest skyscrapers in the entire city. He constantly left his contact lines open and refused to deal with any business associates in case the Team Galactic decided to come into contact with him again. It really showed how much he cared for his family; Tony had his priorities in the right place.

The clock struck at 1:30 in the morning as Tony remained in his office anxiously with a few members of his council whom he trusted. They still continued to argue with his decision but he would stand firmly by it. Shugo was among those that remained in the corporate building but he waited outside of the office leaning against the clean wall behind him. The loud arguing voices forced him to move to a quieter location. Deciding that just giving away that technology was a bad decision, he would take matters into his own hands. Onzi, his faithful Dragonair slithered along the ground following in his trainer's wake.

If they'll need it in thirty minutes, I'm sure they've left it sitting out already.

After turning a corner to the platform that extends upward onto the helicopter pad, Shugo could see a container containing a very odd device. It's esoteric design left a lot to be desired as far as it's use. However, it did seem as though it would fit on someone's arm. It was crimson and the metal was very clean and sharp. Black cords extended down to the backside of the hand of the device near each of the glove fingers. Shugo gazed in awe of the ACP which was expected to be a large machine. Onzi stared blankly at the machine before his trainer scooped up the container into his hands. His dragonair seemed shocked and frantically waved its tail to show his disapproval and fear. Shugo grinned and started to make a dash for the hallway and headed into many doors to the elevator shaft.

Relax, Onzi! I have an idea that these guys wouldn't exactly make a fair trade to begin with. If they hung on to Evan... they'd get more than they initially wanted.

Just as he said that while waiting for the dinging doors to open, they slid passed one another to reveal the opponent he had before. A man in a white uniform with the very same Weavile standing next to him. Both parties stood silent in amazement. The grunt lunged forward to try and snatch it but Shugo bolted to the right with Onzi and began a jog down a random hallway. Now on the floor face to the ground, he began to bark at the Weavile.

Don't just stand there, go get that device!

Weavile huffed and folded its arms across his chest. Obviously it didn't see Shugo as a worthy opponent. Out of boredom it launched into another quick blur of speed rivaled only by animals built entirely for their agility. The grunt crawled onto his hands and knees before bouncing into a proper posture to begin pursuit.

Weavile only obeys those who it sees as a stronger adversary. It pisses me off 'cause half the time it won't even listen to me!

What do you mean the device was stolen, Stark?!
I'm telling you what I know, someone made off with it just minutes before contacted me. We're doing all we can to get it back, just don't hurt Evan!

The communication ended with Commander Saturn smirking from a helicopter's back bay. Another man next to him held a thin computer in his lap whilst typing out some numbers with a map opened for both of them to view. Subordinate pointed to a few points on the screen with Saturn nodding at every indication.

So they should have the ACP. We'll land and exchange this kid for Stark and we'll have everything we need for the operation.

Suddenly the screen became static and green lines appeared. They began to wave as sound echoed into the earpieces of both the technician and Commander Saturn.

Commander, some kid has made off with the ACP! We're chasing him down.
What?! Then find him and take it back! We're landing in just a few moments, kill him if you have to! The communication ended with a loud roar from the leader.

Chapter 6 Rematch: Clash in the Skyscraper

A beam of frozen energy lashed over Shugo's shoulder narrowly missing him and streaming forward. This caused the boy and his dragonair to hit the ground to shield themselves from debree. They had made it into a conference hall but the only exit straight ahead was the new target of the assault. Ice Beam collided with the door and shattered it's facing. Not only that, but the frame was now frozen and blocked completely. Shugo jumped up and turned around to face the Weavile that had easily caught up with the both of them. Baring it's fangs, the creature showed that it prepared to end this quickly.

Onzi coiled itself upright with the twin orbs on it's tail flashing in what light was shown in the room. Growling in a challenging manner, it seemed that it was prepared to go tooth and nail with this new adversary.

I don't know anything about it other than it's quick. So we need to match that and exploit it's weak points... It won't be like with Danny or Marvin. You ready?

Dragonair opened it's mouth rather quickly and released a roar that could be heard by everyone on that floor including Stark and his council that were on the complete other side of the building. Weavile sighed and shook a clawed digit as if to say that Shugo had no chance of victory against it. Gripping his fingers to a fist, Shugo called out the first command.

Use Agility and then Slam it into the ground!

Weavile's legs shifted and pushed him forward into a dash. Onzi would begin moving as well with it's length becoming much quicker. The wake of it's movement could barely be seen in the airspace. The ice creature bounded above Onzi before it's tail could connect leaving shattered tiles in the flooring and a small crater behind. The Dragonair was now seeing the fabled speed first hand. Shugo saw the tactic and tried to counter it.

Above you, Onzi! Counter it with Thunder!

The voltage launched from the serpent's body causing it to charge upright, exactly where the Weavile was diving from with an Ice Punch. Some of the electricity connected but so did the fist that came from below. Onzi took an extra amount of damage due to the type disadvantage. It slid across the tiles to the opposite corner of the room near a large oak table and some red cushioned chairs. Weavile fell to it's feet with a claw planted to the tiles a little weak from the shock. Some static could be seen resonating from it's skin; perhaps the early stages of paralysis. Weavile's eyes grew black and it spread both arms outward. From it's bodice came many orbs of purple energy that lashed out in all directions!

The grunt made his way into the doorway with a heavy wheeze. It took him all this time to catch up to the encounter. Even though being tired, he still smirked towards the young trainer.

The result will still be the same; Weavile only obeys the superior trainers!

Onzi tries to weave through as many as it could before it was struck by one of the blasts sending it into a chair. More were launched but the dragon was prepared for the second barrage. Levitating briefly to conjure enough wind around it's body, Onzi began to spin rapidly. The dark-clawed pokemon watched in a confused manner as the balls of dark energy were caught in the tornado created by Onzi with it's Twister technique. The grunt was also in disbelief that each of the balls of dark energy could be sucked up into the tiny storm and render them useless until they faded away. Dancing winds would halt with the floating pokemon remaining in place unharmed. Weavile snarled and began another attack by opening it's mouth once again. Charged ice cascaded in a concentrated beam at the Dragonair moving at high speeds. Shugo shouted to his companion to help it react to Weavile's quick reflexes.

Dodge that with Agility, then look for an opening and use your Thunder again when it's defenses are down!
Weavile, use Ice Beam and then go on the offensive with Night Slash!

The blast from Weavile barraged the wall behind Onzi once it weave underneath the attack at blinding speeds that might rival the sharp claw pokemon's own. The windows were shattered as glass poured from the skies down to the ground many stories below. By now the authorities would be alerted to the heavy activity going on in the Stark Enterprises' skyscraper.

Onzi's nose stored enough electricity to conduct it and fire in an unfocused blast towards the Weavile's general direction. Even if it did begin to evade with it's high dexterity, the wide wave of it would have a higher chance of connecting. The yellow energy crashed into Weavile as it moved to the right causing another chair to be charred from the high temperature. Remaining voltage would be deflected by the dark energy being used as a brace around it's guarded body instead of an offensive technique.

All the while Shugo was brought back to his battle against Danny in the fighting rings. Even further back was his gym battle against Marvin. Both had outmatched him with strategy and pure strength. He had been searched for the right strategy to use but failed. However, he should always play to his strengths and use them. Weavile had used it's offense to cover up for it's weakness and Onzi had done the same.

The boy blinked as he was brought into the memory of a chess match with his father so many years ago. Shugo was frowning and moved a piece in the same manner that his father had done which earned him a defeat. Ryudo chuckled and stroked his son's head. Don't play like others to beat others; stick to a strategy that suits you. That way you're playing to your strengths. Your best foot forward.

While it's still in the downtime, Hyper Beam, shouted the younger trainer.
Counter it with Ice Beam to finish it!

Both mouths of each creature opened with their respective colors of orange and blue. Both combinations of focused energy launched forward in a brilliant display of power from both of the competitors. Each collided with one another out of sheet power and brutality; both of their aim was precise. As if they were equal an explosion caused both beams to break and shatter the crater that Onzi made earlier into a clear hole to the floor below! A cloud of smoke engulfed the conference room with pure silence that left the grunt and Shugo to wonder who made it out victorious.

The haze faded from the breeze that came in from where the panels of windows once laid. Onzi was still standing on it's tail and Weavile was still on it's feet. Both showed injury and fatigue from the very equal match between the both of them. Galactic Grunt waited for the result as did Shugo. Finally after a long pause, Weavile dropped to it's knees without fainting. Onzi had edged out the match by a small margin. The victor was Shugo! He couldn't help but charge forward to give his dragon a tight hug. Both of them were very ecstatic.

The Grunt didn't say anything. Shugo had set down the device in order to congratulate his companion. Neither of them paid attention to him as he snatched it and made a sprint for the elevator where he had came from in the beginning. Both heard him exit before Shugo snatched his pokeball and recalled the dragonair with a crimson light in order for him to rest. The boy gave chase as quickly as his legs would carry him leaving the Weavile in the conference room.

Chapter 7: Truth and Dreams

So we agree; yourself for your son. Commander Saturn planned to go ahead with his plan and trusted that his minions would complete their task.
Yes... we agree. Now release Evan to his mother!

A blind folded child was led by the technician from the still operating helicopter over to the council as well as security members from the squad that the industry hired for protection. Allison began to cry once again as she grasped her son tightly into a firm hug and removed the blindfold and the ropes that bound his hands. He, too, was also sobbing. Tony didn't even bother to try and say goodbye to his family before stepping towards the helicopter. Galactic Grunts awaited for a quick lift off with Saturn standing next to the executive. Suddenly, a stairwell's doorway busted open with the same grunt as before charging towards the helicopter. In his hands was the Advanced Capturing Program that the team craved so much. All parties seemed to be in disbelief. Shugo followed behind narrowly with a Magmar in front.

Commander Saturn! I tried to get away but they destroyed the elevator! But I got the ACP!
You idiot, think before you act!

Saturn tried to toss him onto the helicopter along with Tonybut the Magmar reared back and launched a flamethrower in their direction that caused Saturn to fall to the ground with a thud. Shugo rushed forward to try and retrieve the capturing device from the unarmed grunt. However, the other minions were not as unprepared. Three pokeballs were thrown to reveal three different bats that flew in an organized formation. Magmar was unprepared for such an encounter and was caught off guard when each bat swooped below to dig their fangs into the spitfire pokemon.

Three distinct blade outlines appeared on each of the Golbats causing their attacks to fail. Each would fall in front of their respective trainers and regain their balance in the air. Weavile landed firmly in front of Shugo in a single blurred movement. Magmar's attention would be turned to Commander Saturn who's own pokeball was tossed into the air revealing a Skuntank in front of the helicopter. The red haired superior dropped his hand to his pocket to reveal a small pistol and place it to Tony's head. Security officers attempted to draw their own weapons but now they had a restraint.

Weavile glanced over it's shoulder to the trainer who seemed to be shocked. Why would it go out of it's way to protect an enemy? Shugo wondered, Could the Weavile respect me because I defeated it? The Grunt did say it followed the strongest... Shugo nodded to the claw beast and turned his attention to the Commander who attempted to make his leave. Each Golbat arose to try and follow but were intercepted by another Night Slash from the agile claw of the Weavile.

Peregrine, use Fire Punch on that thing!

As the flying vehicle prepared for lift off, Magmar's balled fist retained a red and orange aura around it before launching. Skuntank tried to counter with a Poison Jab but the spitfire creature had moved earlier than it's opponent. The burning hook caused the skunk to not be able to defend his master against Shugo's own assault. The boy charged and leaped in the direction of the Commander while his attention was on the security squad to ensure they had released each of their firearms. His pupils grew larger as he squinted and released the pistol as well as Tony Stark causing the executive to fall out onto the roof with the firearm sliding at his feet.

Saturn belted Shugo in the stomach just as they began to lift off. The dim witted grunt tried to pull the two off of one another with the ACP still in his hands. Shugo smiled and grasped it with his right hand using both legs to kick off from both adult's reach. He fell to the roof next to Edwin as the helicopter launched into the darkness of the night. A ruffled leader would peer out from the opening to get a final glance at the child who had caused him so much grief in one night. At that very moment a focused beam shot from the roof at the helicopter which narrowly missed. A few more came and missed as well.

Each security officer yelled in unison at the figure that had fired. It was a gray and navy metallic creature that seemed to be armored from head to toe. Cannons were mounted on both shoulders as well as a beam arm that functioned as a firearm. A stylish mask and helmet was set upon his head; not a single bit of flesh was exposed.

"It's War Machine!"

He briefly saluted the security officers before the jets on his back ignited. With a single jump he launched into the airspace after the helicopter that fled.

The lights and sounds of the police force arriving below the towering building as well as ambulances was relief for all parties present on the roof excluding the defeated grunts. Weavile stood over them weak but triumphant. Evan had watched the entire time and noticed that it was the teenager who had offered to take him home that had saved him and his father from Team Galactic. Breaking from the embrace of his mother, he ran to wrap his arms around his father who was now standing. Tony's eyes released tears of joy as did his mothers. Afterwards Evan turned to his peer and smiled brightly.

Thank you very much, Shugo. Why you did all this... I don't know. But you're something else.
Eh, it was nothing. I do some crazy things!

Awesome.
Epilogue

Evan and his family could return to a normal life. That is, as soon as the damages to the building were rectified. The grunts that remained were charged with kidnapping and destruction of private property amongst other things. The news of Team Galactic's group was spread all over the news of Kevin Baconville and information regarding them was released to police stations across Opadekka. No one knows where Commander Saturn and the rest of the team has fled to, however. Nor do they know where their local hero War Machine is now. Iron Man reassures the city that he will be alright and that they will persue the team vigorously.

Stark Enterprises offered to give Shugo a position in security, and the Stark family even offered to take him in after he explained the dream he had and about how he has what he now calls 'amnesia.' He refused because he wanted to continue traveling even though he no longer had a set path. They did offer some funds so he could stay well fed and rested that he wouldn't accept either. Perhaps Allison might've slipped it into his backpack before he left a day later.

Shugo stood at the Magnet Tram station with a ticket in hand after crossing through the loading decks for luggage and other packages. Other passengers began to load on board before he would turn towards the open doors of the train. Evan and his parents stood waving behind the lines for loading in a traditional manner to end the escapade. The boy broke from his parents and leaned over the railing to yell.

You've got to come back and hang out sometime, alright?!
Yeah, that sounds good! I'll be seeing you!

Just before he could enter the doors to the tram, a shadowed figure had appeared at the side of the tram almost instantly. It's eyes locked onto the lad before the light revealed that it was the Weavile he had fought against two days earlier. It stepped forward as if it seemed to concede to Shugo as the stronger combatant.

Y'know, I never got a chance to thank you for helping us out the other day. You gave us a killer match, you and Onzi did a spectacular job. Shugo seemed to show no animosity towards it.

Weavile nodded but wouldn't move out of the way to allow him to board with the others. It seemed to be quite stubborn. The teenager quirked an eyebrow before striking an idea as he moved his hand to the right pocket of his knapsack to pull out a pokeball with no occupant.

Since I won before, I should have the right to catch you, shouldn't I? Those are the rules. Shugo chuckled.

The sharp claw creature stepped forward with a nod before grinning up to it's new trainer. Tossing the ball idly above it where it would tap the forehead of the beast, the red light withdrew it into the sphere. A red light faded away from the button of the ball to signify that the capture was a success. Shugo scooped it up and hurriedly boarded the Magnet Tram for the first destination that it would arrive at; for now he was going with the flow.

Okay, sorry for the wait, Shugo! I gots yer evaluation rights here! Ill go through it by chapter first then give the overall grade. I dont have time to nitpick every errant detail so Im just going to mention the major ones. Ertry not to be too hopeful.

Chapter 1
Methinks youre being too loose with your words. I gets the imagery you try to put here and there, but sometimes theyre so obscure that they really dont make the piece any better than it would be if youd just explained in a more regular fashion.

In the first paragraph, it seems like youre jumping from one topic to another. I had to read it a few times, but Im still confused what you were really focusing on: a community or a warehouse. You seem to throw random sentences in without consistency.

The rest of the post didnt give much of a feeling for the place Shugo was in, or rather spoke well-enough of how he felt to be there. He was describedshallowly, to put it simply. Just a list of events described and how Shugo would be viewed from one persons point of view rather than making some sort of attempt to sympathize with him. Or maybe you did that, and that you just worded it really really badly. I cant tell which.

By the wayprotease? Ireally didnt get the usage of this word in your post. According to the dictionary, it some sort of protein-breaking enzyme. o_O And I think youve switched from past to future tense halfway through the post.

Chapter 2
You pretty much just breezed through this one. Not really much focusing detail on any of the characters beyond what could be viewed from a normal bystander. I think you write this more like a movie than a form of literature, which explains the lack of detail beyond the visual descriptions. The transition between Shugo and the newcomer was a bit abrupterr, you really shouldnt switch to a new situation without making some sort of indicator that you did. Like a line or divider between paragraphs.

Chapter 3-Epilogue
Well, lets just say I read through them and not really much is different from what I mentioned. You pretty much just write whats seen quite shallowly. I think you need to brush up on your writing skills, cause the rustiness and disuse shows. Some stuff at random points: you tend to word sentences really oddly, use words wrongly, switch from different tenses (past to future). And this story reminds me a lot of an Ash episode.

ErWar Machine? Iron Man? How dare they invade Legacy! We should sue! D<

Soyeah. Overall, I give ye *calculates*

6.2 :exp. Sorry, you dont get the Weavile.
