Finally, Dave had left the outskirts of Lorenzo. He continued to walk until he reached an area of very, very tall grass. The grass must have never been plowed or tended to because it was a few inches taller than him! The grass looked like huge waves flowing in the wind. He could only imagine getting an aerial view of this field. Dave always had liked natural scenery.

He took it upon himself to obtain a pouch or whatever those things were to hold his sword. A sketchy man asked for an extremely high price, but Dave miracuously got it for free. Apparently, the guy didn't feel like bargaining with Dave anymore..

He walked through the field with the sword hanging from his waist on the right side. It felt like the sword had given him the power to do almost anything. He felt like he knew how to use the sword and master the skill of a true swordsman. He neverr would have thought just a few weeks ago back in Hillmoss that he would be able to use a sword or even have a knowledge of using one! He could only imagine the countenance of his mother's face if she saw him with that sword. He didn't care though. He was on his own now...

Dave began searching through the tall blades of grass for any signs of Pokemon.

It was inexplicably unexplainable how you were unablely able to not make the discovery of a Pokemon, atleast for the time being that is happening about now.

Then a small Taillow flew overhead, but at a very high speed. You'd have to think fast to get it!

The Taillow made a little gust of wind above Dave's head. Geez that bird was fast. Dave needed to train his Pokemon, so he quickly grabbed a Pokeball and threw it towards the sky. Pidgey appeared and was looking around for instruction from the sky.

"Pidgey, chase after that Taillow and use Air Slash!"

Pidgey sprang into action immediately, trying to get all the power he could out of the wings that stuck out of his sides.

He tired quickly, but the Taillow, thankfully, was just out for a fly, and wasn't moving too fast. Pidgey, slowly but surely, caught up to the bird. Just when he thought he couldn't go on anymore, he collided with the Taillow, and Air Slash attack.

Both of the birds fell down, down into the grasses below, and tumbled about for a bit. You would have to catch up to them, and fast, before your prey escaped!

He watched Pidgey deal a good hit to the other bird. After the attack, both of the birds fell through the air. Down and down they went until they passed the surface of the long blades of grass. Dave began to run towards the spot where they were. He also yelled forward.

"Pidgey, if you can hear me use a Featherdance and Attack!"

Pidgey had thankfully not landed far from your position, and your words easily carried to his ears. A new hopefulness inside him, he launched into a Featherdance, finished up quickly. The Taillow hadn't gotten up yet. Surprised by the sudden attack, he had gotten the wind knocked out of him, and was struggling to get it back.

Normally, this would be the perfect time to attack. Sadly, Pidgey hadn't understood your directions. Attack? With what? The moment he spent thinking about it cost him his chance, as the Taillow's breathing returned to normal. He took to the skies, trying to escape.

Right after the Taillow took off, you stumbled upon Pidgey, who was looking very disappointed with himself.

Pidgey sighed and looked to the ground. The Taillow was beginning to get away. Dave couldn't let that happen. Pidgey looked up to Dave for further commands, hoping to understand Dave's request more coherently.

"I'm sorry Pidgey. That was unclear of me.. We can still get to that Taillow though. Quickly fly after it and bring it down to the ground with an Air Slash attack. I'll follow you from the ground."

Pidgey immediately took to the skies, trying to keep up with that Taillow. It wasn't too difficult, after all, the Taillow had bore the brunt of the blow when they had collided earlier. Soon, Pidgey was right behind the Taillow. A quick Air Slash, and the Taillow fell to the ground.

Pidgey, deftly turning himself around, was able to launch a diving Air Slash on the Taillow. He crashed into the ground himself after hitting the Taillow, but he had ended the battle.

Pidgey had plummeted to the ground after the shortly fought battle. A little mound of dirt picked up due to the impact of the fall. Fortunately, Pidgey had won the battle against the Taillow. Dave went over to his Pidgey and scooped him off of the ground. He cradled Pidgey back and forth in his arms, making sure his Pidgey was alright.

"Good job Pidgey. I'm proud of you."

He gave Pidgey a small smile and softly stroked the bird's wings. His Pidgey responded to the gentle touch of Dave's hands and slowly began to close its eyes. Dave decided Pidgey needed some rest, so he got out his Pokeball and returned Pidgey to it. Dave placed the ball in his bag and began moving forward.

The grass began getting thicker and Dave found himself in spots where the grass was about seven feet. He could not see very much around him because the grass was so dense around these parts. He began to look for more Pokemon in between the tall blades of grass.

(Where are you? xD)

You searched about through the tall grass for awhile, but sadly, any Pokemon that you could catch were alerted to your approach almost instantly by the shaking of the blades of grass. They would immediately scamper off to some place, and you really couldn't follow them if you wanted to. These Pokemon knew the area, and were used to the height of the grass. They also must know all kinds of shortcuts, and even if you found a pathway, they would be able to use a shortcut and get ahead.

But, that was exactly what you did find. There was a small clearing that curved through the grass, obviously being a trail that Pokemon must have flattened over time. There were also fresh tracks on the soft ground below the grass. A Pokemon must have just crossed through here!

But, this trail could lead anywhere! Should you take the risk that this would lead to a powerful Pokemon, or perhaps take you right back to where you started? It would be a tough decision indeed, but either way, this trail was filled with a lot of questions.

The cleared field was a much different view of the Wildlands. A cleared field was left behind and Dave concurred that it must have been from wild Pokemon. Perhaps the Pokemon were migrating? He didn't have anywhere else to go. He mine as well follow the trail. He began to walk through the cleared grass, trampeled by Pokemon. He could tell there were Pokemon recently because of the fresh footprints. The cleared field was narrow, bordered with the tall grass of the Wildlands. Dave was cautious for any surprises and was careful to not make too much noise.

The grass towered into the sky. Well, maybe not, but it was pretty damned tall. There was a sporadic footprint in the grass, but nothing that could lead to anything spectacular. Unless you call that there Wurmple spectacular. It had crawled up a blade of grass and was nibbling on its tip. You wouldn't interrupt it... would you...?

The innocent Wurmple was nibbling on the tip of a long blade of grass. It was completely oblivious to Dave and basically anything around it. This was a good chance to train Dave's Pokemon, but he almost felt bothered by advancing onto the Wurmple. The poor thing was just minding its own business... No. He could not think like this. He reached for a Pokeball and called out for Piplup. Piplup appeared in a splash of white and awaited orders.

"Use your Drill Peck on that Wurmple."

Piplup lunged forth with its beak extended. Drill Peck was successful, and Wurmple fell to the ground with a slight cry. *Penguin face gets 1 :exp.*

The actions that had taken place... your penguin pretty much beating a Wurmple senseless... would have consequences. It wasn't much of a fight for Piplup, but it would have the chance soon enough.

A woman emerged from the grass. A rather attractive woman at that. She was wearing a very very short pair of shorts. They were beige, like you would expect an archeologist to wear. Her hair came down to the small of her back. It was a slick and shiny black, as dark as the blackest of coal. She wore glasses, but they weren't the dorky kind. The lenses were rather small and they fit her oval face perfectly. She wore a shirt, also beige. A button up, the bottom was tied in a knot, showing off her flat stomach and the top of a thong on the sides of her. There were spots of sweat rolling on her skin. In this heat, it could be expeced. She was carrying a clipboard, and looked to be a reasercher of some kind. You know the type. All in all, this girl was hot, pure and simple.

'Why did you attack that Wurmple?' she immediately asked. 'You know, innocent bugs are essential for the growth of the land. You shouldn't go around just fighting them for no reason.'

Dave noticed the girl had a sexual aura about her. Her thong was somewhat exposed, leaving Dave to many thoughts. Enough with that though... The girl looked like she researched the land and what inhabits it. She had a clipboard at the waist and looked at Dave with a disappointing glare. She inquired Dave about attacking that innocent Wurmple. He never thought about it being helpful to the environment before. He just needed to train his Pokemon. So he told her what he had thought.

"Well, I was just looking for a Pokemon to train my Piplup. I'm trying to get my Pokemon to become stronger for whatever is ahead. I never thought about the Wurmple helping the environment. I'm sorry if what I did bothers you."

'Typical trainers. Only thinking of themselves, nobody else.' She started in. 'You know, you should just go before you make me mad. As you can see, I have work to do.... fighting for pokemon that can't fight for themselves and all.'

She was hot, but rather quick to judge and sarcastic. At any rate, she had just told you what to do. Obviously she is used to wearing the pants in situations concerning decisions... I guess.

Dave did not feel like arguing with some hot headed girl with short shorts. She apparently was very busy with her work, whatever that may be. He decided to continue on with following the Pokemon trail. The footprints were still apparent on the ground so Dave began searching for more Pokemon. Hopefully that tempremental girl would not interrupt his journey anymore.

The girl welcomed the opportunity ti agree to disagree. Battling was not on her menu. As you walked passed, she said 'Thank you!' rather loudly. In fact, it was probably a bit too loud.

Continuing with your search, there was nothing afott. Well, there was, but you couldn't find it by simply following a single pair of footprints. You probably could have, until that damned female yelled... women... fuckin' women. Always tryin' to keep a guy down.

Dave began to search even harder for any Pokemon. He really wanted to find the one that had left these footprints. Instead of looking directly on the trail, he began to veer off a little bit. He moved through the tall grass, shoving away the long blades as he made his way through. The bright sunrays beat through the grass' surface. Dave felt his hair starting to get very hot. He felt his hair with the palm of his hand and reacted to the hot temperature. Looking around, he made sure to keep somewhat near the trail, but not on it. So far, he had not found any form of life. Hopefully he would encounter something soon, preferabely not that annoying girl.

Encounter something you did, and almost painfully. The trail soon came to an end, worrying you. As you spun around frantically, looking for a turn you may of missed, you nearly stepped into a hole that was just big enough for your foot to slip in. You had found the end of the trail! You listened carefully for a moment, and you could here the worried screeches of the Pokemon inside. But, a new problem arose. Your foot would just barely fit in, and if you wanted to fight the Pokemon inside, you would have to draw them out somehow, something I don't think they'd be wanting to do.

This hole that Dave found was so small. His foot barely fit into it. He drew his foot out of the hole and tried to look down the hole. He heard Pokemon making strange noises. What kind of Pokemon could be in there? Probably a Ground type of sorts. That kind of Pokemon would be nice to have. He needed a ground type to beat some types of Pokemon like Electric types.

How could he drive the Pokemon out though? There was no way he could get into the hole... It was simply too small. Aha! Dave thought of a great idea. He would fill the tunnel with water and draw them out. Dave reached for his bag and opened it. He grabbed a Pokeball and threw it towards the ground. Piplup appeared and was ready to go. It shook its behind a little bit and looked at the little hole.

"Alright, use your Bubblebeam and aim it into the tunnel. We need to draw some Pokemon out."

He needed backup too so Dave sent out Pidgey.

"Pidgey, hover above the hole and get ready to Tackle whatever comes out."

The small hole quickly filled up with water. It didn't take long for its inhabitant to emerge. It was that, or drown.

It wasn't a ground type, but it looked like one. A Zigzagoon emerged form the hole, scurrying about. It obviously didn't like getting wet. Upon seeing it, Pidgey used its Tackle, snapping the coon out of its momentary frantic trance. When the Zigzagoon finally realized it was being targetted by a trainer, it was quick to make haste. Rather, quick to try to make haste.

The Zigzagoon was startled by Dave and his Pokemon. He needed to catch that Zigzagoon. It bolted away from Dave so he needed to get it before it got away. Pidgey and Piplup began to chase the Zigzagoon down. Pidgey flew overhead to get an aerial view. Piplup was just behind Zigzagoon and used a Bubblebeam to weaken it. The Bubblebeam left Piplup's mouth with a lot of force. Enough, in fact, to knock Zigzagoon off his feet, and on to his face, slowing him down.

Angered, he hopped back up again. A Piplup floods his house, and then uses him as his play toy, shooting bubbles at him? Well, not on my watch. The angered Pokemon got up, and dove at Piplup, who was unfortunately headed right at the 'goon. This only worked to strengthen the Tackle.

Pidgey had just flown overhead, and now was circling the tussle below, waiting for orders. You caught up just a moment later.

Piplup got slammed hard due to the force of them both running at each other. Piplup was a target of Zigzagoon, but Pidgey kept out of the battle. Dave needed to weaken the Zigzagoon even more if he wanted to catch it. He ordered Pidgey to use a diving Tackle. He then told Piplup to get out of the way and to use a Bubblebeam.

Pidgey flew with incredible speed straight down at the Zigzagoon. The 'goons back bent dangerously, as the attack connected. This left Piplup wide open for an attack, and she capatilized. A quick Bubblebeam, and the Zigzagoon stopped moving.

But, it wasn't fainted. The 'goon was just playing dead, a very popular move among raccoons and possums. It was very convincing, and your Pokemon shouted in triumph, both of them running, smiling back to you.

The 'goon took this moment as his chance to escape, and jumped up, running through the grass. He was getting away!

Dave was kind of disappointed he didn't have the chance to catch Zigzagoon, but he celebrated with his Pokemon anyways. They jumped up and down and he hugged both of them because they never seemed so happy before. All of a sudden he noticed Zigzagoon leap into the air and make a run for it. Dave could not believe it! You ran desperately in the direction that the Zigzagoon had run off in, hoping beyond hope that you would be able to find it.

Things got even worse when your foot hit a rock, and you fell, as if in slow motion, through the air. In your surprise, you had released the ball from your hands. It flew slowly through the air, and was about to hit the ground, where it would open and become useless.

PIDGEY!

Your Pidgey cried out, as it shot forward towards the falling ball. Without missing a step, it grabbed the ball in its claws, and quickly caught up to the 'goon. He let go of the ball, effectively bombing the Pokemon below.

You stood up, thinking all was lost. The 'goon surely would have escaped.

PING.

The ball had caught it!

Once Zigzagoon had been caught, Dave jumped up and down. He called for his Pidgey to congratulate it. Pidgey flew down and crashed into Dave's arms. Dave laughed and praised Pidgey for being so smart and having such good aim.

"You did a great job. I'm proud of you."

He ruffled the bird's feathers and it squeeked in excitement. Piplup came hoping over and Dave said Piplup did a great job flooding Zigzagoon out of its hole. Piplup jumped into Dave's arms and cheered with Pidgey. It was a happy moment, one of the happiest moments of Dave's adventure. His Pokemon were becoming stronger, more obedient, and were becoming smarter.

Dave went over to the Pokeball that lay on the ground. He bent over to pick it up and released Zigzagoon. It appeared in a flash of light, sitting on the ground. Dave reached into his bag for Oddish so she could meet Dave's new Pokemon also. Piplup, Pidgey, and Oddish stood on Dave's side, looking at the raccoon, while Zigzagoon looked back. How awkward for Zigzagoon.

"Guys, go mingle with each other. Let's keep moving while you guys chat and play. I want to get out of this grassy area."

So Dave lead the pack and behind him were his four Pokemon. The Pokemon were still suspicious of Zigzagoon, but they slowly became more social. Zigzagoon was becoming used to this.

You walked along with your Pokemon, shifting grass out of the way. Zigzagoon, getting happier by the minute, (1 :happiness) was acting as a guide. Within no time, the grass seemed to fall away, revealing a very beautiful landscape of flowers and low rolling hills. It was a huge meadow of flowers. A Flower Meadow of sorts.

Delighted to be in such a beautiful place, all your Pokemon began to run about, Oddish the happiest, being a grass Pokemon. While Oddish ran about, it stumbled upon a friend, or maybe a foe. It was another Oddish! Your Oddish came wobbling up, and showed you the Oddish. While it acted friendly, there was something odd about it. It kept glancing around, with a strange look in its eye. Was it really a friend?

The last Oddish Dave ran into was crazy and psychotic. Turns out the Oddish would be his once captured. However, this Oddish that Dave's Oddish had encountered was a bit more strange. It almost looked like it was looking out for something, making sure whatever it was wouldn't harm the wild Oddish. Dave studied the wild Oddish's expressions. His Pokemon began to console the Oddish.

"Hey there little guy. Are you okay? You seem a bit worried."

Dave's Oddish tried to make good terms with the wild Oddish. His Oddish said to listen to Dave because he could help it.

All your Pokemon crowded around Oddish, thinking they were helping it out. Instead, they frightened it. It broke into a crazy dance, jumping about. Most of your Pokemon got out of the way, except for your newly-caught Zigzagoon, who was stuck in the line of fire.

The Oddish collided painfully with your 'goon, knocking it backwards. It fell to the ground, fainted.

Even though you had a numbers advantage, this wouldn't be a simple battle.

Dave could not believe it! This Oddish started to dance and all of a sudden, it knocked out his Zigzagoon. Dave became infuriated and a bit pissed off at the little Oddish. He ordered his Pidgey and Piplup to advance to the forefront. He told Oddish to stay behind. He would use Oddish as a last resort if he had to.

Now, Dave had to think of a way to knock out Oddish. He told Pidgey to get in front of the Oddish and his Piplup to go to its backside. Hopefully Dave's Pokemon would get the Oddish if they attacked at once.

"Piplup, use a Drill Peck! Pidgey, you use Aerial Ace!"

Piplup dove forward first, trying to use a Drill Peck on the Oddish, But, dancing quickly, the Oddish avoided the attack, and landed a hit on Piplup, doing a lot of damage.

Pidgey came diving down, and collided with the Oddish. It was a powerful hit, but the Oddish shook it off quickly. It hopped back up, and started dancing again, ready to take on the next attack.

Pidgey dove right into Piplup, causing Piplup to face massive damage to itself. Hopefully Piplup would hang in there. Pidgey just needed to be more careful next time. He tried to get Oddish's attention silently. Oddish glanced over at Dave and wondered what he wanted. He whispered over to Oddish and said to sneak up behind the wild Oddish and use a Tackle attack. He hoped that Piplup could use its Drill Peck after Dave's Oddish attacked and the same with Pidgey's Aerial Ace. He figured the wild Oddish would be an easier target if it was startled by Oddish or confused as to what was going on.

"Piplup and Pidgey. Wait for the cue and then attack with the moves you used just recently."

Oddish dove at the other Oddish, attempting to distract it. But, this Oddish was proving to be very annoying. It avoided the Tackle, and when Piplup ran at it to use a Drill Peck, the Oddish hit it with its last Petal Dance. Piplup fainted.

Pidgey, seeing a friend in danger, rushed to his defense with a Aerial Ace, but was too late to save Piplup. The Oddish, however, was fainted, giving your Oddish and Pidgey .8 :exp each.

1 + :fp for defeating a very crafty Oddish.

Dave had finally beat the wild Oddish. Tricky as that Oddish was, Dave was able to emerge victorious over the battle. He returned all of his Pokemon to their Pokeballs after congratulating them. He raised his head and took a wiff of the beautiful air. So many beautiful smells were consumed by Dave. He smelt wildflowers, tulips, roses, lilys. All of the flowers around him had such a lush color. He approached a field of yellow tulips and bent down to smell them even more. The color and scent reminded him of his mother's garden back home in Hillmoss. He grew a slight smile across his face and picked one for himself. He placed the tulip on the side pocket of his bag and began to aimlessly wander the colorful fields that surronded him.

He felt the type of feeling you get when you believe nothing could go wrong and everything was perfect. Nothing could ever go wrong. He was protected in this vast sanctuary.

He felt infinite and he wished the feeling would never go away....

The place was very beautiful, and as you frolicked among the flowers, hoping that the feeling would never go away, you slowly realized that it wouldn't, as long as you remained here, a place of beautiful-like scenery and calm, but paranoid Pokemon. But, there was a problem with just skipping around merrily, wanting to stay here for all of eternity.

You wouldn't be able to leave if you wanted to do that!

So, a choice arose. Happiness (To be cut short by death, there wasn't much that was edible around here), or a continued adventure, with a longer life expectancy.

Decisions, decisions...

Unfortunately, Dave would need to escape from this field of flowers and overwhelming scents. This feeling of being infinite. He stopped smelling the flowers and stopped looking up into the sky. He focused his attention to finding Pokemon or getting to new areas. He began to walk through the rolling fields of flora. The lucious scenery would attract him no more. He needed to focus on his journey ahead.

Refocused, you set out walking westward out of the flowery meadow that gave you such joy. Soon, the flowers fell away, revealing grass. But it wasn't the grass that towered over your head like before, no, this grass was normal height, almost like what you had experienced back in the Hillmoss Grasslands. It was refreshing to not have to try and look over long grass stalks.

Then the ground fell out from under you.

You fell down about eight feet, and then landed on the bottom. Now you knew you were in the Pitfall Area!

Obstacle: 8' deep hole.

Dave plummeted through a hole, quite similar to the one he had encountered in the maze. He fell on his bottom, which extremely hurt. He moved over to his side and just kind of laid there. He yelled for help, hoping he would not meet another traitor. He grabbed for Pidgey's Pokeball and threw it in the air. Pidgey flew above the hole and examined the area.

"Pidgey, go and see if you can find someone to help me out of here."

Pidgey nodded and flew away looking for anything or anyone to help Dave. While Pidgey was getting help, Dave decided to search the walls of the hole. Perhaps he would find something of use. He began to feel around the dirt in the hole for anything.

Pidgey flew up and out of the hole, and you began to search around the hole, looking for a way to get out of it. The walls were slightly wet, but there were splotches of dry dirt too.

Pidgey returned after a quick search, reporting that there were no people around. The Pitfall Area was very much deserted. You'd have to get out of this yourself.

Much to Dave's dismay, there was no one to be found in the area. Dave patted Pidgey on the head for doing a good search anyways. Dave turned his attention on the dirt wall. It was somewhat wet, but a few spots were dry and looked climable. Without hesitation, Dave grabbed for the closest dry spot of dirt and attempted to climb the hole's wall.

You pushed your hand into the wall, and tried to push yourself up. The dirt beneath fell away, and you fell down. You hit the ground quickly, but not before slamming your face on the wall on the way down.

It hurt.

You sat on the ground, crestfallen, rubbing your face. Your face hurt, and so did your pride.

Dave sat there on the ground, not knowing what to do. He rubbed his face and thought to himself. He really needed to find a way out of here and it did not look like there was anyone around to help him this time. He reached into his messanger bag and pulled out his Pokeballs. He released them all. Piplup, Pidgey, Oddish, and Zigzagoon appeared, wondering what the hell was going on. Pidgey already knew he failed at his attempt to find help.

"See if you can smell your way out guys. I ran out of ideas to get us out of here."

He felt like a failed trainer. How could he let down his Pokemon like this? He was getting them really worried. Dave watched as his Pokemon smelled around, looking for any desperate attempt out.

Your Pokemon ran around in the hole, sniffing the dirt. It looked really strange from the point of few of the strange man looking down at you.

"Howdy partner, need some help?" He called, offering his hand. He was really tall, and his had was practically hanging past yours, even though he was at the top of an eight foot hole.

Dave looked up to see a tall, lanky man looking down at Dave and his Pokemon. How embarassing. He always was approached by someone, but then again, how else was he supposed to get out? The guy looked like a farmer, you could just tell by his appearance and the way he talked. All of the farmers Dave ever encountered or heard of all had a twang to their voice. This string bean was no exception. Dave returned all of his Pokemon to their pokeballs so it would be an easier hike up. He walked up to the guy's hand and grabbed a hold of it, making sure to hold on tightly so he didn't fall back into the pit again.

"Tha's righ' jus' pull yahself up hir," He crowed. He yanked you out.

"So, wir y'all headed?" He asked, continuing his draw. Now that you were above ground, you noticed his trusty steed behind him. A Rapidash! Those were fast. Maybe the right words, and the correct offer could get you a ride to your destination?

Dave emerged from the hole thanks to the farmer. Once Dave regaind balance, he noticed a large steed of Rapidash. It was amazing!! All of the Rapidash were well trained. They stood there with the greatest poise, not moving an inch. The fire that blew in the wind as their mane flickered bright yellow, orange, and red flames. They were one of Dave's favorite Pokemon.

The farmer asked Dave where he was headed. To tell the truth, he really didn't know himself. However, to get out of here, he needed a fleet of skilled Rapidash to get through the Pitfall Area.

"Well I heard there was a region called the Light Jungle bordering these parts. It would be greatful if you and your team of Rapidash could guide me to that area. Unless you recommend we go somewhere else."

"The Light Jungle?" He drawled. "Sure! I'll give you a ride. Hop on up."

He motioned to you, and you climbed up behind him on the Rapidash.

"Git goin' girl!" He shouted, and the Rapidash took off, headed straight towards the Light Jungle, taking a few leaps whenever she felt like.

Reached Light Jungle.

Dave was riding across the lands of the Pitfall Area, completely dodging the hidden obstacles of the region. Riding on the Rapidash was so smooth. The breeze blew through his hair and he never felt so alive. He stretched his arms while also being careful not to fly off the horse. The flaming mane did not hurt the farmer at all. He was probably a really great trainer. Eventually, the Rapidash stopped on the outskirts of the jungle. A completely different environment faced Dave. Huge, thick trees bordered the outskirts of the jungle. Vines drooped down from the thick limbs of trees and a light mist floated around the region.

Dave hopped off the Rapidash and thanked the man for bringing him to the jungle.

"I really can't thank you enough. You probably prevented me from falling through several pits over there."
