Good luck to you, Peacocka, and I hope you find what you are looking for in this wonderful breed of bird :) Our trip home was almost 2 hours...by car though. And Kiwi was trying to chew her way out of the air-holes of the seller provided box the whole way  |

Just to reassure you if you do decide to take a trip down to visit us at our shop,we will make sure you have a well worth visit, with tea and coffee in our cozy corner where you can relax after your journey, and ask away all the questions you may have to ask about these awesome little Parrots. You will be able to witness a full view of our whole set up,meet us in person, and also meet some of the Parrots which are in the shop. Some for sale, some not.At this moment in time we only have 2 little green girl Parrotlets for sale,so if you wanted more choice, there will be others available over the next few weeks, but at this point they are only in the early stages of hatching.Expected in the next clutches coming up,should be,blue and green Celestials, and also Spectacleds. This does not include any that we dont know about in nexst boxes,as we dont check them for eggs,so once we here chicks in boxes, its the first we become aware of new babies. We know the Spectacleds have hatched already, and a pair of Pied blue/green Celestials are due anyday. If you do visit, you will have an enjoyable time, and a very remembarable experience im sure. Tracy-Ann x |

Hi, I really wouldn't worry about the journey. My parrotlet came with me in the car from Liverpool to Brighton yesterday for summer and he was absolutely fine! Good luck |

Max is on his summer hols   If you move them around a bit when they're young, they get used to journey's etc, so they travel much better when you have to take them to the vet or something 2.gif When change the "Two Piranha's" cage around a lot, that way they don't get so scared when you have to put them somewhere new jumping for joy |

Thanks so much to Tracey and Sue for the kind offer and all the advice from everyone! I may be moving flat in the next couple of months, so may have to defer getting a baby. I'm hoping to bring one home early 2009 and will definitely contact Tracey and Sue! :) |

If your going to be moving it's probably better to wait until your settled into your new place. |

Thanks Bonnie - that's exactly what I was thinking. I'll get all the chaos associated with moving over before finding a baby and letting him or her settle in to a calm environment! It's hard waiting though, as I've wanted a p-let for quite a while now. :) Still, I guess good things come to those who wait! hug |

A wise decision 0163951 believe me, my middle name is "impatience" so I know how hard it is to wait, but you're doing the right thing nodding 2.gif P.S. Where abouts in the South East are you? I used to live South of Croydon in Surrey. |

I live in West London. wave I know what you mean about impatience, I've wanted one of these little beauties for so long! But, at the end of the day, the little one's wellbeing must come first. Yours look like such little beauties! Where abouts in the US do you live? I lived on the east coast some years ago. |

I'm in Southern California, on the coast in Orange county, about halfway between LA & San Diego. I moved here in 1991 after a year in Canada (I also have Canadian citizenship because my dad was Canadian). My wife is from around here which is the reason I'm here & not in Canada. I just wasn't settled in England even though I grew up there. I was 30 when I left the "Land 'O Mist & Rain". How's the search for a breeder coming along? I don't know how traffic is in England these days, but you might want to think about getting a baby from Sue & Tracey. They're in Newport I believe. The bird should be able to handle the trip ok & I know others have bought from them & traveled a fair distance with their new baby. |

i got my little one from Tracey and Sue and we travelled back for 2 1/2 hours in the car... He was absolutely fine, was swinging upside down and chirping most of the way! Good luck, i agree it's hard but waiting may be for the best.... you won't get any packing done with a new baby bird looking cute and demanding attention! |

Hi yes Tracey Ann and Sue are really the only breeders in this area who have a good supply of quality Parrotlets give them a call and see what they have :) |
