Maybe this will work for you. http://parrotlets.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=2944&hl= You may have to work with her a bit to get her tame. :D But that's part of the enjoyment. |

Thanks. I did see that and would love to adopt (I was seriously considering rescuing an African Grey recently). However, I'm at work weekdays and live in a flat and I think such a bird might need constant attention time and space, which sadly I can't give.
:( I was hoping to find a hand reared baby. :) |

Thanks Bonnie.
:) It seems Wildheart is a fantastic breeder, however I'm really concerned about travelling a long train distance with a new baby. Also, I'd like to visit a breeder a couple of times before collecting. I found a site called birdtrader.co.uk but I'm a bit concerned about the integrity of the users, as I've seen postings from people selling wild birds such as goldfinches. |

There are some very untrustworthy people about now a days, a lot of ringneck parakeets are being sold as well these are wild caught in or around London. I can not think of any breeders in your area |

 I often see flocks of ringnecks in the park. It's bad enough that people have no concience about ripping off other people but their lack of regard for birds' welfare really makes me angry. Thanks for letting me know regarding breeders. I've been searching for awhile and can't find anyone anywhere nearby. |

I dont know if i'm a bit late  but I live in London and got mine from Wildheart, I found that because he was used to the short car ride to and from the shop he was absolutely fine on the train ride home. He settled in no time and has been a delight ever since (Thanks Tracey-Ann ;) ). At the end of the day, i was easily able to get there and back in less than a day and it is well worth the trip to get a sweet, trainable baby set up for a long and happy life. |

Thanks so much for this - I was worried about the long train journey, so you've set my mind at ease somewhat! And congratulations on getting your baby! |

Don't underestimate these little Parrotlets they are much more sturdy than they look. A train ride will not bother them especially a hand tamed one. |
