I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread with just the picture of the cage you have your parrotlets in. So that anyone thinking of getting one could take a look at what members of the forum are using and the size of the cage.

I will start with mine, i have two of these cages, each with one pair of parrotlets in.

the size is 22x17x30.

The only thing i alter on the cage, is that i remove the two of the 4" feed pots and brackets that come with the cage, and replace them with four smaller 3" pots like so. I leave one 4" pot in the cage and this is partially filled with water daily.

Good idea kevin this will give new parolett people an idea of what they may need. I know this will vary because of some people having limited space but a very good idea.

Chipper has a King's cage. 32X21 and 34 inches high inside. 1/2" bar space. I call it her rolling carnival> We can roll it from room to room. The door is always open if I am home. She goes to her playgyms and loves to play in her cage. She can fly all around also. I have toys all the way down and she uses every inch!:D

I'm getting a bigger cage! I have finally decided. While the cage I have for Cricket is a decent size...I just feel him being in there all day long, he needs more space! I'm gonna do it!!!! Just have to find the right one!

Good for you and good for Cricket, :D I'm sure he's fine in there and I wouldn't go toooooo awfully much larger because it may scare him. But I'm sure he would like to have room for a few more toys   like he doesn't have a 100 or so already

bonnie can you post your cage as well, as i looked at one similar to that but didn't buy it as it seems in the uk they put strange odd shaped feed bowls in them.
