OMG!!!! Laura! the most amazing Macaw of all!(although the Catalana..OMG..beautiful!) And he was perched on you! The breeder I got Cricket from has two..not for sale though...

Was that one for sale and if so how much? I've heard they can fetch a price of 10,000 or more eek.

PS...Laura! you are so pretty!!!!

Aww, thanks, Gail!! A bright flash does wonders for the skin - a great wrinkle remover, ha, ha!

The Hyacinth belonged to a customer. I went to take a pic but the owner insisted I get my photo taken with him! It was just amazing having this bird perch on me. It felt so weird with his huge feet around my arm. Sure a far cry from little parrotlet feet! So I have no idea what the Hyacinth would cost.

The Catalina Macaw was $1299, so were the Caiques. They also had some Apricot headed Caiques but I didn't get a photo of them. We had fun again playing with all the birds, Froggie loved it too :D

Buuz, you should come down this way and make a day of it sometime! There's lots of other stuff to do that I'm sure Kate would like as well. Tidepools at the harbor, petting zoo here in my town, etc.

Also it's on your way to San Diego if you ever go down there, like maybe to the zoo! Sounds fun, huh?

It was a great experience, Kev. It was also really weird to feel that massive beak on my arm when he beaked me! eek. The owner then said to the hyacinth, "Be NICE".

They call the wall behind me, the 'Toy Wall' and it extends several feet in both directions that you can't see in the pic. Now you can see why we're so tempted!! Toys, toys, toys!

The Caiques were hilarious, especially since they had so many together. One guy would see the other and take a running leap and pounce. Then a mad wrestling match would break out. These little birds seemed more like cats or dogs. They were really cute :)
