That's so cool that they let the birds out of the cages to play.

This store is spotless!! It's really nice to visit and the birds are out all day and are taken back to their cages an hour before closing time. They're really well socialized because so many people play with them.

Thanks for the ID Gazo...I just didn't know if Meyers had more blue than this bird.

Nickie, this shop is in Lake Forest. There are two others in Placentia and Studio City near LA. Here's a link to their website - Omar's Exotic Birds

Bonnie, it was VERY hard to walk out of their without bringing home a baby or two!! We did buy a lot of toys though, you know, the addiction. rofl2

Well then it's ok Laura because your babies got a lot of mew toys. I would have had a hard time not getting one of the Grey babies

is that a standard sort of price for a grey over there?

the eclectus is a great bird very noble i think, and isn't it one of the only parrots where the female is the more colour full of the pair ?

Kev, I didn't know that was a male Eclectus. The female is a beautiful bird!!

I'm not sure if $1250 is the going price for a Grey, I'm sure Gail will know :)

I took these photos with my old camera since it's small and I sneaked it in my purse. I didn't know if they would mind photo taking or not, but they didn't. I guess it's good advertising for them!

Yippee!! Buuz, don't forget your camera!! I think the Studio City store is much bigger than this one. You'll have fun, but I do advise you to leave your checkbook and all credit cards at home, unless of course you have a few spare empty cages!! :D
