Just thought I'd share an Ebay seller eileen_douglas_tackshops_ltd (23832) is selling Equiwrap Vetwrap cohesive bandage 10 various coloured rolls for £10.95 free postage. If you have Manzanita, Java wood, plastic or dowel (which is usually too smooth and can cause Bumblefoot) perches/play stands, this stuff is great for parrots feet as it provides that essential non slip grip for them, adds colour, sticks to itself and is bird/animal safe. Just rap it round. Great to add dimensions to areas on thin perches for that additional foot exersize also to put under butchers string, to hold it in place, when adding additional textures to perches. |

Great idea. I have tried string wrapped round on those type of branches but that seemed a bit awkward for them to perch on too |

The idea behind string is just to bind small parts of the perch just to give a different tactile, physical (foot exercise) and visual experience. |
