The lady who I babysit her little boy took me out to dinner last night. Had a great time but she surprised me with two cards one from her and one from Drew (her baby's name). One card had a gift certificate for Petco......she knows how much I love my birds. The other card had another gift certificate for Home Depot so I could buy something for my rooms were working on. Anyhow I couldn't wait to go to Petco to get Amos new toys. I had just bought Jo Jo a bunch of new toys and Amos needed a few new ones they had this HUGE Pinata so I got it for her she is giving that poor toy a work out   Sorry I can't get a pic right now but went on line and copied a pic of it. You can't actually tell it's size by the pic but it's LARGE   I don't know about you but I'm like a kid in the candy store when it comes to buying toys for the birds   The gift certificate was for $25.. and when I was done I had spent $5O

Lucky Amos!! and what a thoughtful gift!

I bet all of us here keep Petco in business!!! It's so easy to spend $50 on toys, food, etc.

since max is on the medicated food, and i'm making my own seed mixes, i dont go to petco that much anymore! i know when i did, i'd be lucky to walk out of there at $50!!! i was more like $200 with all the birds, cats, and dog! LOL cases of food for the dog would be $80! but that would last a good month or more, so its ok i guess. i have pinatas in the conures cage, they get ignored! the budgies love them, i should try on with the p'lets, since i know they like the shredders.

that was a really nice of them by the way :)

Yes it was a really nice thing for her to do. Guess I must talk about my birds a LOT!!! I don't buy my bird food at Petco but I do buy my dog food and cat food for my son's cat there. I get the Nutiberries at Petco and of course my dog likes to pick out a new toy when I take him   They have an Indian Ringneck Parakeet in there that's been there for the longest so I go in and talk to it everytime I go

Try the seed sticks, even if they don't eat a lot they love chewing them up. You could also try the nutriberries.
