Advanced Member Posts: 975 Group: Full Members Member #86 Joined: April 12, 2007	Im wondering, that do parrotlet pairs only mate and have eggs when they have a nesting box? or do they still lay eggs even though they dont have a nesting box?

Budgeries four off I live in a mess of my own making !!! My name is I'll give you a clue	they will lay without a nest box as long as they can find some where suitable, last time i was down at Tracey and Sue's they had a hen there that was laying her eggs on the cage bottom, they would move her and her eggs but she would go back to the cage bottom again. they weren't fertile by the way the cock bird was too young :)
