Have just finished ordering Xmas toys for Olly, he is so difficult to buy for apart from his fetish for leather and rubber. Got him that Babble Ball and more noisy toys and squishy things that bounce back as he bites them. He has developed a love for bouncing with his feet as well i.e. bowed green stick branch's that bounce back up when he lands on them. So if anyone knows of any bouncy perches please let me know :)

 maybe I should be shopping in Ann Summers for him.
I did find a 'Polly dancing perch' which looked just what he would love but can only get the large version in UK. Ticks me off America has all the good stuff. Maybe a smaller Boing would do the trick and be more bouncy than the big one he has at present.......worth a try. Failing that I could hunt out my Kangoo Boots and just bounce around the house with Olly attached to me

Yes I was hoping I would have calmed down by now but sadly no, I'm still obsessed with him. Just never come across so much character in one tiny creature in my life. Every single day he makes me laugh, he goes from stropy to soppy and I love every aspect of his temperament. If I could give him the universe on a plate I would. People without a Parrotlet in their lives are missing out on so much

I am sat at my computer working and I have brought my two upstairs. They are on top of their travel cage and make sitting up here so much nicer.

They keep looking at what I am doing then they get back to either feeding or preening. Little chirps going back and forth between the two of them. They are sooooooo sweet!

Meg (my dog) is curled up behind me in her bed by the radiator. Bryn is usually up here too but he is sneakily lying on the settee downstairs!!

When people come round they often have a quick look in their cage to see how they are but they don't really get to see what they are like. They really respond to their human company. You would think having two they wouldn't be bothered but they definitely come to life when you are near.

Kathryn such a lovely picture you created in my mind but it's not helping my urge to have two drats Olly has one of those motion sensor Budgies its bigger than he is and he's so gentle with it, he gives it a kiss and it rocks and tweets at him. My mind keeps saying I'm just putting human emotion on a bird but my heart screams back 'he needs a feathered friend'. What a turmoil, only time will tell if my mind or heart will win
