Yeah! I remember you saying. I would like to build one from Bottle Brush wood but can't find any. By the time I grow my own both Olly and I will be pushing up Daisy's

I am going to work on it when I get some time.
I don't see why the play stands from the shops cost so much as we can all

I love the idea behind Playstand/gyms, to give a parrot a safe area of interest outside the cage for his amusement/exercise which also serves to limit bird debris to one spot. If I tried to convince Olly that his area is now a small tree decorated with toys he would throw a tantrum. I have a job stopping him laying claim to the whole house. He certainly sees the whole room as his, I'm just allowed to store some of my stuff there. :)

I use a wicker basket with a big handle, you can attach toys and things my birds love it when they are out of the cage; just make sure it is not treated with anything

Yes, Ive done the same. I loved Eb Cravens weaning baskets and have been after one for ages. Got one from my sister last week and I'm busy doing knots and beads on leather strips for him to dangle from the handle. Mind you its taking forever because Olly has to help with every DIY project and as fast as I knot and thread a bead he undoes it and throws the bead across the room. Olly also loves that wooden Wine Rack Idea. Both basket and wine rack are so portable not only for room to room but when we go visiting as well. Brilliant 2.gif

Love the idea of the wicker basket

Mine love my ornamental cages. They poop on the dried flowers inside and semi destroy them but are very happy doing so!!

But will look out for a basket
