why don't you get a smaller cage, you can do some training with him when you get him home then. When Im traning one or two birds I use this one! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Meadow-Small-Bird-Cage-45x35x28cm-/380593415707?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Birds&hash=item589d22a61b Ill use one of these for this clutch as ive never tamed 5 babies before LOL! http://www.robharvey.com/breeding-cages.htm But for carriers when buying birds I use http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/m4DH90cFTIOAgCh5AMlWwcA.jpg you can buy them on ebay and classed as parakeet show cages |

We have this one but it seems a little tacky and I don't like it http://www.amazon.co.uk/Liberta-Riviera-Nice-Travel-Bird/dp/B0095VFN52/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373359997&sr=8-1&keywords=bird+travel+cage Think I'll order the one from your first link as its bigger as well. Thankyou |

I have one of the cages which is the 1st link on Hayley's post..... I use it to carry the parrotlets to vets etc.... at the moment Buddy sleeps in it at night.. Not a bad cage, for the money. |
