Can anyone point me in the direction of a good but not very expensive travel carrier please. I do have one but its a bit naff, and wanted something a little better without having to pay a small fortune, some I've looked at cost more than the cage we have!!

why don't you get a smaller cage, you can do some training with him when you get him home then.
When Im traning one or two birds I use this one!

Ill use one of these for this clutch as ive never tamed 5 babies before LOL!

you can buy them on ebay and classed as parakeet show cages

We have this one but it seems a little tacky and I don't like it http://www.amazon.co.uk/Liberta-Riviera-Nice-Travel-Bird/dp/B0095VFN52/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373359997&sr=8-1&keywords=bird+travel+cage
Think I'll order the one from your first link as its bigger as well. Thankyou
