:o

I just figured out that my bird is preening me & sometimes getting a little to "enthusiastic" about it!!! nod2

I noticed that she was only biting my neck, not my fingers or anything else. I hadn't shaved for a couple of days & I guess she was preening my stubble & sometimes getting my skin by mistake. I experimented & shaved my chin stubble (much to my wifes delight) & .......... no more nips or bites! bana

So it wasn't an aggressive or dominance thing after all. She's now back to being my little baby again yes

they love beards, it gives them something to preen, and they really seem to enjoy it.

hello everyone

Ica seems to still be in great health after his illness and is right back to his original cheekyness. He still does his Ica 'worshiping thing' only to me and everyday. But recently is very bolshy - lots of attitude - or 'beakitude' as we call it and his new thing is that he wants me to be in the room with him all the time - if i leave and he is out he flys onto my head. It is still the only place he is comfortable with - i managed to get him on my shoulder once this weekend - the hand, arm or finger are still complete no's for him. If he is in his cage he will shout as soon as i go out of the room, only quietening down when i go back in - hence lots of the weekend was seen with me wandering about with a parrotlet on my head - i look like i've got mad dandruff when he's been at the millet spray!!!!!
