For those who really want to take their parrot training to another level, try this course by Susan G. Friedman, Ph.D. this is an eight week internet course, with a very long waiting list
:( although as we keep parrotlets that can live to twenty plus years whats a years wait for a course! from what i have read it is well worth the wait. Susan has written some very interesting papers on parrot training and behavior. Here is susans main page. http://www.behaviorworks.org/ And here is the writings of Susan Friedman. http://www.thegabrielfoundation.org/HTML/friedman.htm I was told to start with "The ABC's of Behavior" And then read "He Said,She Said,Science Said" These are very interesting articles and by just reading them you will gain some great insights into parrot training.
