You after a tame parrotlet?? I know of a good place in south Wales but not midland. Sure someone here will be able to help you.
But yeah I wouldn't recomended tame birds from Stafford as you don't have the opitunity to have a little play before you buy.
Good luck!

Hi and welcome wave
There is a good place in south wales but i cannot remember the name of it, i know a few other member will know what it is called.
Stafford bird show does have parrotlets, but you are very unlikely to get a tame one they usually come in pairs.
If you are willing to travel i know a few other places you can get baby parrotlets

Hi there,I'm preferably after a baby that I can rear myself,I have experience with bigger parrots and a lot of time on my hands so I don't think it will be a problem,I'll travel if I have to

Wildheart pats! Newport :d
so youwant to rear the bird yourself?? I'm not sure people would part with very young birds.
Is that what you mean?

The breeder I got Cricket from has a very strict, standing rule. No bird leaves until they are completely weaned. I would think twice about it if I were you. So many things can go wrong especially if you are not experienced at it. Let us know how you make out!

I agree with Gail, we hand fed 4 babies & it's a lot of work nodding

Food has to be a certain temp, they need feeding every 4 hours, cleaning them, etc.

In the uk you can only buy a baby bird once it has been weaned which for a baby parrotlet is around 8 weeks old. I am guessing this is what you mean by rearing a baby rather than a chick. :)
