Congratulations of your new parrotlets!! Will you be keeping these two in the same cage? I only ask because they will probably bond to people more if they are kept in separate cages. :)

I wondered about the size as I thought they would be smaller, but I was told they were young about 11 weeks old so I accepted it as i had nothing to go on.

I was also told you can see they are young by the pinky beaks.

How old do you think they are and should i do something about it.

Your birds are beautiful and look like they're settling in well.

I think Scooby means the photo's are large not the birds

I would trust Tracy and Sue they have a very good reputation to keep so I think you've got two lovely babies :)

Have they got names yet?

As you can see from the pics we get them out together, would it be better to let them out one at a time for training.

For training, it is better one-on-one & in an area with no distractions (a bathroom with the toilet seat down, etc).

Take a little millet also, for rewarding good behavior nodding 2.gif

Clipped wings also make them more dependent on you & easier to train.

Good luck Bill & expect a few "love bites" on the way! giggle giggle giggle giggle
