I'm wondering if anyone keeps a Quaker and can tell me if they keep well with a parrotlet. OF course I wouldn't keep them in the same cage or leave them alone together unsupervised, but can they conceivably get along? Can one keep their cages in the same room for example? If anyone has advice, that would help me greatly.

Hi Chelsea I love the little Quaker parrots but we are not allowed to have them here In Pennsylvania.I don't know why you couldn't keep them in the same room in different cages. If you let them out together just be sure to be ready oi intervene if they get feisty.

I know a couple people that have them. They are so cute and full of personality!! Like Bonnie said...there's no reason you can't keep them in the same room together. :)

Thanks guys! I probably won't get one for awhile (if I do at all) but I like to prepare a lot in advance and know as much as I can before I bring someone new into the house to take care of haha this is the reason Abby is so spoiled! I bought so many toys and things even before buying her! rol

Haha I impulse buy a lot of things, but thankfully I don't with pets. Or else I'd end up poor and overwhelmed!
