Newbie Posts: 19 Group: Full Members Member #3,127 Joined: August 17, 2009 How many Parrotlets do you have 1 What types Celestial What colours pied	Hey guys, i got another blue female parrotlet (Chi Chi)yesterday from wildheart pets. Her and chibi seems to be getting along ok but today i seen chibi putting his leg on her back, it looked awfully a lot like mating behaviour but she was tryna escape i think. Thing is, he's only 12 weeks old and she's 8 weeks old, isnt that too young for mating behaviour?

Budgeries four off I live in a mess of my own making !!! My name is I'll give you a clue	They will mate at a very young age plus he's a male :) I would say its all part of the bonding process as long as you have no boxs in the cage they will be fine.

I thought they don't reach sexual maturity until 8 months old? :O Oh thats good to hear then as i dont have any nest boxes in the cage :D
