When i get chibi out of the cage an he sits on my finger/shoulder sometimes his whole body just jerks or he will open up his tail and his body will jerk then too. Is this a sign of something going wrong?
sometimes he will also bob his head up and down as well

I know before I knew better to put Mochi in front of mirrors he did it the first time he saw his reflection, I thought it was so cute and I wanted to get a video of it, but he's never done it for his reflection again, well mainly being because I try to avoid mirrors with him

Yep that's pretty normal ...well as long as my Parrotlet Squeak is normal that is, as he gets older he will add his voice to the shake as well, its done to impress the females typical male Parrot showing off :) he will also do it when surprised it's to scare off the enemy as well.

Someone must have a video of head bobbing to show on here please

Here's a pic of a bird regurgitating. They do this to feed babies but also do it when they are excited and show you they love you by wanting to feed you.

Head bobbing? Are you talking about the wiggle necking Kevo? There's a video of Pesto doing that here somewhere I think.

It means he either likes something or someone, he could just be excited or trying to make himself big and scary its quite normal Squeak does it all the time especially when he thinks HIS pet budgies are not doing what he thinks they should be doing.

That makes sense, I got Mochi one of the basketball playsets and he can finally use it (got it for him a week before he was attacked and only stopped being afraid of it when the incident happened) and now I've put it on my floor and let him perch on it so he can be close to me while I study (while sitting on the floor)
