Chika now seems fine, back to her cheeky self. nod2 jumping for joy :lol:

I can't tell you how happy i am about it. I really think taking her to the avian specialist vet, their expertise and them tube feeding her and injecting her with an antibiotic (which wasn't the catch all bloody Baytril!) has saved her life. It was well worth driving all that way, even though she didn't like it.

Yes going to the best there is in avian care is always the best way to go. By the time your bird looks or acts sick they are REALLY sick. You don't have time to mess with a bird vet that says hmmmm could be this or could be that. You need a vet that is going to act immediately on his or her intuition of what is going on. They may be wrong BUT they act immediately to save your birds.
