as some of you may know, Naboo has a real hatred of the camera and refuses to stay still!
Did manage to get one this morning - he had a good fly round the office and pooed on my hand afterwards (which i'm sure was deliberate!)

you can see his ratty chest feathers... any ideas on this? he won't bathe and i mist him with a diluted plume spray.

What a beauty he is....even with his chest feathers. I just love the coloring around his eyes, so different from the Celestials (Pacifics) :)

What a cute little bird he is, and I agree with Laura about the colouring around his eyes, I would guess that he is just a bit over keen with his preening. Have you had a close look at the skin on his breast to make sure its not irritated or sore.

he has his cooked beans and vegetables sprinkled with eggfood... thinking about it, he's NEVER let me stroke his chest... any ideas what could cause soreness there?

you will need to have a look at his chest, hold him like a budgie and sweep his feathers back to see the skin, note though that there might be nothing wrong he might just be over preening himself. Has he got any preening toys next to his favourite perch ?
